I love Stelena but... I think she'll choose Damon.

Hey guys!

First of all... was this episode awesome or what?!!👏 I can't wait for next week's episode!!!!😊

Okay, now getting to my point... I absolutely LOVEEE Stelena!! I mean it literally pains me to see them apart... but there are a few reasons why I think this season finale, Elena will choose Damon. Here's why-

1. Every single teaser that has been released of next week's episode, whether it be the promotional pictures, the promo, or the sneak peak... all of them have one thing in common- Stelena. The picture shows stefan holding Elena's face.. The promo shows Stefan promising Elena that he will do everything in his power to make sure they all survive, and ESPECIALLY the sneak peak shows Stefan come in and Elena going to hug him JUST when she is talking about which brother to pick with Matt.

All of these things put one question in mind... why are the writers so hell bent on showing Elena and Stefan together in the promos and not even a hint of Delena? My guess is, that its to throw us off. The writers would never show so much Stelena in teasers itself if they were to get together in the finale. They're making us all think that these photos/clips indicate Stelena so that when the episode finally airs, they can surprise us with Delena..

2. As much as I love Stelena, I have come to accept that, as the writers themselves have said, this show IS a love triangle... and for it to be a COMPLETE triangle, Delena has to happen, even if it is momentarily. I'm guessing that if Elena chooses Stefan in the finale, its basically sort of going back to square one, with season 4 again showing Stelena together with Damon and Elena battling their feelings for one other... I could be wrong.. I mean it could always be that she chooses Stefan this season finale and then the first episode next season she has a dramatic change of heart and goes running to Damon... Or it may even be that despite Stelena being back together, the writers find a way to mix it up so that the love triangle doesn't seem similar to what we've seen so far... but I somehow doubt it...

So yes, all in all, I have a HUGE feeling its going to be Delena this season finale...

I LUURVEEE Stelena to death and I will be really sad to see them not happen this season... Whats even more sad is that if Elena doesn't choose Stefan, then this WHOLE season will have gone by without ONE single Stefan-Elena kiss😭... I mean every season so far has seen a Damon- Elena kiss, whether it be dream sequency or not... but this whole season has not had a single Stelena kiss😭

But, whatever her decision be next episode, Im gonna pray for ultimate endgame to be Stelena always😳... but for now, Im willing to settle for Delena... plus, I'll admit, I am curious to know how Delena work as a couple... that would be interesting😆

Of course, I guess what I havent considered is that the shock factor will still be equally high if she chooses Stefan in the end, because right now a lot of people ARE assuming the same thing that I am (that is, she'll choose Damon)... so I guess that brings us back to square one😆

I have no frikking clue whats gonna happen anymore😆

Anyway, what do you guys think... who do you think Elena will pick this finale?? Do you agree with what I think??

I think so too that if JP is hyping so much about the decision then y is she releasing a clip with elena hugging stefan... but i m still putting my faith in TVD that it will manage to surprise us in finale like always even if we count all the probabilities.

By the way even if story comes back to square one, somehow stelena always works for me. Even tho elena was in relationship with stefan, damon and elena bonded but the same wont happen if elena is with damon. Stefan may not do that until its about elena's safety

All I know is that TVD writers have developed a habit of surprising me, so at the end of the day whatever they do I'm pretty sure I'll be surprised all over so instead of picking a side, I'll just sit back, relax and enjoy the show because I hate seeing either Stefan or Damon being strung up by Elena. If it was me, I would give both the brothers the happiness they deserve instead of writhing in agony fighting over ONE girl... Nobody deserves that🤢!

With Elena finally making a decision hopefully the viewers will be able to rest peacefully!

Plus, I hate this TEAM sh*t... started by Twilight... I Love Delena immensely but do not want to be a part of any team... for example I love Tyler and Caroline as well as Klaus and Caroline and I'm gonna enjoy both of them ... whoever the writers dish out!

The writers of TVD have always managed to surprise us, so Im guessing whatever happens ultimately, will deliver, in terms of shock value😆
As far as Elena choosing Stefan goes, I would love for that as well, but I still have this gnawing feeling she'll pick Damon.

I dont think we have to worry about stefan not bonding with her if she chooses damon because, after all, it is a show about a love triangle.. so even though they say the other brother will leave town, we know for a fact that ultimately circumstances will force the three to be together😆

You're right about that... TVD will surprise.. I have no doubt about that😆
I know.. Elena's indecisiveness has been quite the issue lately😆 so its good she's finally just making a decision, even if it is temporarily...

although it would REALLY piss me off if she chose the 'neither' option and goes all "i need to be alone"... I mean come on! We all know that if that happens, its not like the love triangle is gonna stop right. It will basically be the continuation of whats been happening this season - Elena confused over her feelings for both brothers while choosing to remain single...
so yeah, thats the only thing that would frustrate me😆

To be fair, I think its perfectly fine to be "team" so-and-so... i mean the fact that a show can get us to fall in love with two characters' relationship is proof of how good the writers are... So I guess its fair for viewers wanting a certain couple to end up together...I mean, technically, you are "team"(if I may use the term) Delena, right?
But I get your point - just because you love one pair doesnt mean you have to hate the other. You're right, even I love Stelena immensely, but I appreciate what Delena has to offer as well... in fact I think that Delena is quite a great coupling(and I'll admit, the thought of switching "teams" has come up in my mind once or twice😆) And you are SOOO right about tyler-caroline and klaus-caroline... I love both the couples and their scenes!!
So, basically, my point is, its okay to be "team so-and-so" as long as you dont start hating on other "teams" and not expect the writers to write their show according to your every whim and fancy😆 Just sit back and enjoy the show for what it is - a true, amazingly gripping drama😉

I so want her to pick Damon but then again I sort of don't want her to pick Damon becus our hot Damon deserves someone AMAZING:)

i have a feeling that she will choose damon as well and then stefan might go away😭 he will take my broken heart with him elena is taking too long to decide...i m personally a defan (damon and stefan fan-- love salvatore's😆) so i dont want any of their hearts to be broken behind one gyal and beside after she chooses one nothing will be the same between the two brothers😭 y cant they fall in love with different girls (two different girls😆) then they both will b happy... Its still sad that VD started with stelena and somehow it feels like it will end with delena
