Haayeee ❤️ this scene- refreshed so many memories! These days I am watching old episodes just to revive those memories and hoping that the show would do back to its roots!!!! Comparing those episodes to now; I feel like I am watching 2 different shows!!!!!!! I really sit and wonder sometimes like wow this is what it actually used to be and now its like nothing close to what it was originated to be! Krystal and Nia's offscreen chemistry and bonding definitely reflects their on screen chemistry- those emotional scenes where both of them are flawless and their performance is effortless! I haven't seen Nia in any other show but when I Manvi- I immediately connected with her character- her mannerisms, her body language, her certain lingo, her wit & humour- very easy to imagine a person like Manvi!! I laugh and cry with her- her performance has that kind of power and impact!

Krystle on the other hand- I had seen her in KDMHMD and BHPH but since she did not have much to do in those shows especially BHPH- I was not really able to judge her performance. Her grey character as Veera made me wonder how can she play a role of Jeevika- a simple next door girl, calm, emotional, etc...basically pretty much the exact opposite of Veera. But when I started to watch this show- I felt I am watching a new and refined Krystle; maybe also due to the fact her character is positive here as opposed to Veera who I hated in the show lol. Today, I think there could not be a perfect Jeevika than Krystle- as terms of her perfomance in this show, I would say its good- but way better when it comes to Jeeman scenes maybe there we see more comfort as she is dealing with her sister and also due to their off screen comfort too. As for Virika scenes, again she is opening up so we are witnessing those subtle changes in her behaviour as a wife to Viren. But I think her BEST is yet to come- and I PRAY we see that best during the cancer revelation period- POWERFUL JEEMAN scenes! Jeeman scenes would have more intensity as the story is about LOVE between two sisters; and not ordinary sister relationship...they share something that is beyond normal and average! she needs strong role and script in order to show her talent otherwise she cannot improvise much just on those laundry folding scenes!

GIVE HER SOMETHING TO DO- is basically what I am saying! I think we would see Jeevika and Manvi like we have not before- this cancer track would unleash and reveal NEW Jeevika and Manvi!!! Given the opportunity, Krystle can do much better! And I am praying/hoping- they don't show Jeevika as typical wife/daughter/daughter-in-law who would give in and forget everyone within a day or two for not telling her about Manvi's illness! That would be the time to unveil REAL Jeevika and they pray use this opportunity to show her character from a different angle! I am just waiting to see how CVs portray Jeevika during that track and I better not find any fallacies- these are the sisters that can do ANYTHING and go to any EXTREME for each other so we better see that EXTREME when cancer revelation occurs (thats IF that occurs anytime within this year)!! I feel like I am banging my head against a wall as I write SAME thoughts over and over again but at this point, I think we all have just lost our patience and we are just using our thoughts as an outlet for our frustration! Sighhh...*

I think I've fallen in love with the way you write especially about the sisters bond. You write whatever goes on in my mind but express it so much better!

I like to be hopeful because one I don't think they'd stretch the secrecy from Jeevika if a huge twist wasn't going to come out of it. Obviously the tears will be there but I also expect a furious, hurt and almost distrusting Jeevika who drags Manvi to Chandigarh without giving a crap about what everyone thinks! She shouldn't care if keeping your sister in your sasural is against societal rules! I know I'm expecting way too much but then I don't see how else the story will move forward. I too expect Jeevika and Manvi to be at least how they were before the wedding. Remember when Manvi told the trick to keep Jeevika with you is to fall ill and she won't budge away from you! So obviously when she does find out that Manu as cancer, we can expect her to be with M most of the time. I just want Jeevika to prove all her critics wrong and show how she puts every other relationship at risk just for her sister! That is what the show is supposed to be about anyway...

About Nia and KD...completely agree. In fact even though Nia is brilliant all around, I see that extra spark in her Behna scenes with KD! Manvi has a bond with everyone but when she's with Jeevika there is something inexplicable.

I'm nervous and excited about KD's performance in which should be the most important scene of the show yet! Not just her performance but the entire build up, execution including direction, editing and the bg music has to be perfect!

*Massive sigh*...Look at the 1st episode and look what's happened now...
where's that love, that innocence, that dedication, that devotion, that everything? It looked so divine then. No wonder I LOVED this show and was crazy about it- the first episode was magnificent...it clearly laid the foundation of their relationship and showed that it was different. But now, everything's changed it's one of my least favs. :/
That very first scene, Jeevika walking and describing her and Manvi's relationship, the waves...
The coin scene, the "khoon ka rishta" dialogue ( oh how I miss thee :()

J's flashback- that's so...real. That's what my mum used to say to me when I was that young...albeit in a simpler language :p

M's flashback, that's like the beginning of their relationship.

M's concern for J's happiness

J asking M if she had to choose between Jeevika and M's love, who would she and M's answer...

That J lighting M's diya moment- how J's diya found it's way across all the diyas and reached M's and lit it up- J's dialogue " main tere diye ko kabhi bujhne nahi dungi"

And the last scene- Manvi's jahapanh dialogue and that meri umar bhi tujhe lag jae bit.

Then Manvi teasing Jeevika...how frikkin' cute! <3

Manvi's chripiness bubbliness, Jeevika's calm, tranquil, almost supressed personality...grrr, I loved these two so much, why did they have to change? </3 :(

If we look back, the first episode answers many questions in our minds at the moment and gives hope that J will emerge out as strong and we'll see a side to J that's never been seen before, but that's just us. I doubt the new writers have even seen the first epsiode and realised how divine it was. They're showing a new show now. I REALLY hope the new writers go watch the 1st episode a million times until they realise how important it is to show the cancer track carefully, to show and strengthen the JM relationship, they need to be told and reminded that the cancer track belongs first and foremost to JM. :(

I MISS THOSE DAYS...:(

The pilot episode was the best I've seen of any show. Like you said, it really laid the foundation of their relationship and the show.

The cancer plot still belongs to JM and always will. Of course others will play a part but it has been written for the sisters. Even now there's not that much focus on hiding the illness from Virat. The question is still 'how will Jeevika react?'. Remember that dramatic episode where Beeji finds out? There was a parallel scene going on with the main four where J got emotional and said that she is ready to fight with God for Manu. Even Virat joined in and said 'wow Bhabhi, sati had fought with yamraj to save her husband, you will fight to save your sister...you'll create history!'

Must mean something right??

'aur jaise ganga ki shaant lehre ek dusre ka haath thaame chalte hai...waise bhi toh rishte hote hai...jaise Manvi aur mera rishta.

Defines what JM are. They are meant for each other...

True reemz, I really hope the CVs keep it that way. But in one of the spoilers I read that Viren will take up the responsibility of Manvi and her treatment or something like that but as much as I love Viren, I want Jeevika to be the one bringing Manvi to chandigarh and just standing by her sister and do everything she can- I want to see her do something now. And of course, if Viren supports her, that'll be a cherry on the top but I want J to show what she really is.

Ok so I was just watching a show in which the younger sister has moved away from home for her career and she wants to dress up well to impress her crush so she rings her older sister at like 6 in the morning when the older one is still asleep just to ask for help. She describes all her clothes on the phone and the sister helps her select the best one, the jewellery etc. and they have this cute convo on the phone- how effing adorable is that?! It's little scenes like these that may not seem that significant to others that touch my heart the most- why can't they show something like this in EHMMBH? How hard is it?

The nail polish scene was so frikkin cute!

Don't worry about that spoiler. The topic maker had previously said that J and VV will find out about Manvi's illness and hide it from her. Aisa Kuch hua??

Plus it makes no sense that Viren takes Manvi with him when the whole purpose is for Jeevika to not find out. The side effects of the treatment would be right there in front of Jeevika :/

Oh I was watching the nail polish scene few days ago. Manvi always has a way to cheer Jeevika up! Loved how M teased J about waiting for Viren whereas J was actually waiting for M. That's happened couple of times actually! Small instances like that portray Jeevika's subtle love for Manvi.
