Arrogance and Over Confidence

I found a lot many people criticising Vishwas for his "arrogance" and "overconfidence".

I wonder what exactly did Vishwas do which made these people feel that he was being arrogant and/ or overconfident.

Which specific sentence did he say? Or which specific facial expression did he make?

Many times, if a person appears smiling and innocent, it may not necessarily be true. Havent we all encountered such cases when a person who looked trustworthy on his face did not turn out to be so?

If our reading can be wrong in this case, then can it not be wrong the other way too?

I really wonder if one ought to jugde a person's attitude based on one's reading of that person's facial expression. Sometimes a person's face is made in such a way that it gives that impression.

And most of the times, a person's inner feelings are never displayed on the face!!!

So, just wondering if Vishwas is being criticised and targeted unfairly. From all his statements and body language, he appeared to be quite humble and gentlemanly to me. Maybe that also is not very true.

its just the comments he use to make with winkle when they didnt come 1st and not only that the facial expressions give everything awat how annoyed they use to get especially the episode when they were saying stuff to SR when they came 1st and not only that when TV came second he wouldnt even smile properly and wasnt even getting up..

His gunaah is he is from UP....

Absoluely true & it happened a couple of times & was made obvious to all. Even LL mentined so in the end - we r only watchin the edited version - he's been interacting with the contestants for so long....

Also its v. important how you potray yourself in public. Just look at the whole discussion in the forum that came about just because of one expression of Lataji!

and another thing that gave people a bad impression of Vishwas is his negativity... he was never happy with any big decision taken.
-he got angry when Prajakta and Hrishikesh made their entry, just because they were married
-he was never happy, or he never tried to be a bit supportive to the people that got better standings than him. Observe closely in the older episodes when SR got 1st 3 times in a row. (Even i dont think they SR deserved that, but if you're on air where people can see your expressions, he shouldnt try to get attention by putting up a pout)
- he was not happy with SI getting the veto.

Exactly - & there is no hidden camera - they know for sure that every reaction of their's are watched closely. Others must also have disagreed when SR came 1st 3 times but its only Vishwas's expression that catches your eye. Even Sharib has made his dissappointment obvious couple of time but it never comes accross as arrogance!

Of course we see what the TPTB at the show want us to see but Vishwas did
make some unnecc. comments to Rajeev and Twinkle also did the same.
They never were gracious about others doing well. Compare that to Ujjaini
who was always congratulatory to others even if she deserved a higher
ranking. Is it fair that the public cares about these things? Who knows but
all of these contestants knew that they were signing up for this.

I dismissed most of his acts as childish (even for a 26 yr old). SOmehow I did not get emotionally involved in this show. I was more interested in who sang well. IMO Vishwas was one of the better singers. I looked forward to hearing his songs.

There are some excellent playback singers who have attitude issues, but we still listen to them and enjoy them. Just because contestants are soft-spoken/humble (or appear to be), doesn't make them deserving of the title, if they don't sing well.

but if you look at the episodes sometimes ujjaini has made a face once or twice even thow she congrats the person which is good she does get ticjed off i think when she used to at the bottom at the very beginning.
