New man in Bani's Life (END on pg 22) - Page 6

Once again thanks to everyone who leave comments...they are really encouraging 😃 .

Bani keeps the receiver of the phone and turns around. She is really confused and a thousand questions are rushing in her mind.

Bani (lost in thought, unaware of anything around her anymore, thinking): Why did he leave suddenly? Or did he mention it to me and I don't remember? How long has he gone for?

NOTE: Mausi has not left and is still at the Walia Mansion.

Mausi comes and sees Bani all confused. She starts smiling.

Mausi: Bani, Jai ko gaye huye sirf kuch hi ghante huye hai and apni shakal to dekho. (Mausi starts laughing). Bani idhar mere saath aake bheto.

Bani(thinking): Mausi knew?
Bani goes and sits by mausi on the sofa.

Mausi: Bani you know today before Jai was leaving he came to my room. And you know what he said to me. He said, "Mausi I don't know why but whenever I see tears in Bani's eyes I feel like someone has taken a hold of my heart and not allowing it to beat any longer. I don't understand it Mausi?" Can you belive it Bani, Munna itna bada ho gaya magar bache ka bacha hi raha. Mausi starts to laugh.

A smile appears on Bani's face and she hugs Mausi, she can't believe that Mr. Walia cares for her. She is happy but suddenly she feels tears rolling down her cheeks.

Bani(confused thinking): I am happy then why am I crying? Could it be that for the first time I am experiencing tears of joy?

Mausi (seeing Bani crying): Arre Bani, Jai has only gone for a week he will back back soon. I know this is the first time you both are separte after marriage but don't cry so much because if you do what will I tell my Jai when he comes back that I couldn't keep his Bani happy? (Mausi wipes Bani's tears, Bani starts smiling).

Bani goes upstairs to Sid's room.

Bani(in a happy and jolly mood): Sid! I am so happy! Mr. Walia cares for me, can you believe he told Mausi he doesn't like it when i cry!!! (Sid is quiet and does not say anything) I am going to go and call Mr. Walia right now.

As Bani is about to leave...

Sid: Bani, I am happy to see you smiling, just keep smiling like this.

Bani: Thank you Sid, for being my friend.

Bani leaves to call Jai.

Bani goes into her room and calls on Jai's cell. Aditiya who has also gone to Singapore with Jai answers.

Aditiya: Hello.

Bani: Aditiya Sir? Bani here. Mr. Walia...(Bani is hesistant)

Aditiy: O hi Bani. You must be wondering what we are doing here. Actually a really good deal just came up last night and we had to come to here to finalize some things. Here I will get Jai, hold on.

Aditiya (asking Jai who is reading some docutments): Jai Bani ka phone hai.

Jai: Tell her I am busy.

Aditiya (comes back on the phone): Actually Bani...he is a bit busy...you know how much work there is in such deals. I will tell him to phone you later. ok take care. bye

... It has been 4 days since Jai has been gone. Bani has been calling twice a day, every day but everytime it seems that Jai is busy doing something. Each time Bani call and gets no reply, her heart is broken all over again. Meanwhile in Singapore

Jai is sitting and discussing something with Aditiya when he gets a call from Roshni

Roshni: Hi Jai! Guess what, I thought you might be getting bored there with Aditiya so I decided to come and make this beautiful place even more beautiful with my presence. (Roshni comes in front of Jai)

NOTE: Roshni was told by Jigs what hotel Jai is staying in etc.

Jai(complete shocked and a little annoyed to see Roshni there): What are you doing here?

Roshni: I wanted to spend some time with you.

Jai: Aditiya could we have some time alone. (Aditiya leaves, Jai turns back to Roshni)Roshni there was once a time where we both loved each other but now...

Roshni (interrupting Jai, in a serious tone and not in her flirty way): I know Jai, now there is someone else, and that someone is Bani. I know (a tear appearing in her eye)I am no longer there (pointing to his heart). But Jai the last time we were together things didn't end well... and I guess I was never able to forget (now tears just flowing down her cheek)and... well...I was hoping if we could spend some time together and end that relationship... properly this time and start a new relationship... of ... friendship.

Jai (smiles): Lets go out for lunch and to the beach?

...In india

Sid walks into Bani's room to find her sitting and just staring at the phone.

Sid: He still hasn't called has he?

Bani: Mr. Walia? (acting as though she was not waiting for his call) He is really busy you know. (trying convince herself more than Sid)

Sid: I know him Bani, he won't change.

Bani is quiet and says nothing.

What will Bani say to Mr. Walia when he returns, will she be angry at him for keeping her waiting?
