PART 8
Rohan : Virat hum yahan kya kar rahe hain...challo hum bhi Prem ke pass chalte hain after all hum Ladke wale hain.
Virat : Haan challo.
In the room the girls were dressin Pia and talking all about marriage and love when a small girl burst into the room shouting.
Girl : Baarat aa gayi...Pia di kii baarat aa gayi. And off she went.
Now hearing baraat Kiya and Manvi too got excited .
Manvi : Pia ab tum akele yahan wait karo hun chale baarat dekhne ...
And off went Manvi and Kiya...They saw the baarat . Manvi was imagining her di's baraat with Viren on the horse and everyone dancing around him...she hadn't seen her di's baraat and so she always imagined it . And then she saw Virat dancing with Rohan and the others...he looked nice.
All the other rituals took place and Prem came and sat in the mandap.
After 15 minutes the pandit ordered to bring Pia down...
And then Manvi , Kiya , and Pia's mom bought Pia down...
Virat saw Manvi and remembered the day of Jeevi and Viren's roka when Manvi came down the stairs the same way...
Manvi saw Virat downstairs and she too remembered Jeevi and Viren's roka where Virat was having the same look on his face which he had now.
As a fact today one whole year was over for Jeevika and Viren's roka.
Pia sat down at the Mandap along side Prem...Virat stood behind Manvi whereas Rohan stood behind Kiya.
The pheras started...everyone started to throw flowers ... Manvi felt flowers falling on her again and again...she turned and saw that Virat was purposely throwing the flowers on her . She punched him .
The marriage was over and then came the time for bidaai. Everyone had tears in their eyes. Pia was bid farewell and everyone was crying...Manvi missed her di a lot now...she knew she couldn't cry in front of everyone and so she went in the kitchen ... she could hide her tears from everyone at that moment except Virat who noticed her go .
IN THE KITCHEN ...
Manvi is crying and looking up'she was talking to her parents but in her mind.
Manvi ( in mind ) : Mama Papa aisa kyun hota hain kii hum jinhe sabse zyaada pyaar karte hain who hi humse door chale jaate hain. Mama Papa mujhe aapkki aur Di kii bahut yaad aa rahi hain'aap mujhse itne door kyun ho?
Virat comes from nowhere and interrupts Manvi's conversation .
Virat : Kamal karti ho Chaudharain '.
Manvi : Virat tum ?
Virat : Shhh' pehele tumne aunty uncle ko jo tension di hain who main kam karta hoon.
Virat looks up : Namaste Aunty Namaste Uncle. Aap mujhe jaante hoge'main Virat aapki badi beti Jeevika ka chota devar'infact one and only devar. Aunty Uncle aap chinta mat kijiye'aap toh jaante hain kii Manvi ka screw humesha dheela hii rehta hain . Aap chinta kar rahe hoge na kii bhabhi aur Manvi yahan khush hain ya nahi ' don't worry , bhabhi Chandigarh completely fine hain'wahan sab log unka khyal rakhte hain , unke pass wahan sab hain mom , chachi , aur sabse important Bhai bhi hain unke saath , so don't worry . Aur rahi baat Manvi kii , toh Rishikesh mein sab log isska perfect khayal rakh rahe hain , Chandigarh mein bhi sab log Manvi ko behadd pyaar karte hain aur Manali kii baat hain toh Aunty Uncle main aapko vaada karta hoon kii mere presence mein , main Manvi ko kucch nahi hone dunga . Jab tak main uske pass hoon she wont get hurt at all , promise . After all partners hain hum ' ab ek partner doosre partner ko kaise kucch hone de sakta hain , ( turns to Manvi ) Hain na?
All this while Manvi was just staring at him with tears in her eyes , he knew her so well , she was very happy .
Manvi : Virat '
Virat : Shhh. ( looks up ) 'Aunty Uncle ,aap dono se baat karke mujhe sacchi mein bahut accha laga par ab hum dono ko chalna chahiye , nahi toh logon ko misunderstanding hogi kii hum dono akele kitchen mein kya kar rahe hain . So abhi ke liye good bye , par main aapse phirse baat zaroor karunga . Aap dono humesha aapka aashirwaad hum sab pe aise hii banaye rakhna . So bye and good night . ( turns to Manvi ) Bandariyaa apne mom dad ko good night nahi kahongi?
Manvi looks up : Um goodnight mama papa..
Manvi turns to Virat : Virat tumhe kaise pata kii main mama papa se baat kar rahi thi?
Virat : Mujhe paka pata tha kii Pia kii bidaai dekh kar tumhe bhabhi kii bidaai yaad aayegi aur tumhe rona aayega , and you wont ever cry in front of everyone so tum kahin aur jaogi rone ke liye , toh maine bus tumhara peecha kiya yahan tak aur dekha kii tum upar dekh kar ro rahi thi , aur jab bhi tum ya bhabhi upar dekh kar rote hon toh tum apne mom dad se baat kar rahe hote hon ye main aur bhai acche se jaante hain.
Manvi looks down and realizes that she is super sad . He somehow had to make her happy .
Manvi : Virat kaash aisa hota kii main aur di humesha saath reh sakte ... forever and ever.
Virat dint know why but he couldnt see her so sad , he wanted her to smile . And then he got the idea.
Virat : Waise ek tareekha jise tum humesha bhabhi ke saath reh sakti hon.
Manvi turns to him : Kya ?
Virat : Tum mujhe se shaadi karlo...isses tum Vadheras ki chhoti bahu ban jaogi aur bhabhi ki devrani .
Manvi looked at him with the " how could you think of that " expression. And then she realized he was kidding and joined him .
Manvi : Waise idea itni bhi buri nahi hain ... di ke saath rehne ke liye tumhe bhi jhel loongi .
Virat joining in : Toh phir challo , pandit ji abhi bhi gaaye nahi hain , aur mandap bhi ready hain , you sure na kii tum mujhse shaadi karogi ?
Manvi : Pakka sure , challo .
And then Virat held Manvi's wrist and started to walk with her ... they were near the kitchen door when Kiya came in . She saw them and asked
Kiya : Tum dono kahan jaa rahe hon ?
Manvi : Shaadi karne . Main aur Virat shaadi kar rahe hain .
Kiya : Kyaaa!!!!!
Virat : Haan .
Kiya : Are you guyz serious ?
Manvi Virat knew that they had given Kiya shock of her life...but then what Kiya did next gave them their life shock .
Kiya : Oh My God ! You guyz are marrying , that's sooo coool . And hugged Manvi making her and Virat super shocked .
Kiya released the hug and started laughing after seein their both's faces .
Kiya : Shocked na?
Manvi and Virat nod .
Kiya : Mujhe bhi aisa hii shock laga tha jab tum dono ne kahan kii tum shaadi kar rahe ho . I know you guyz were joking . " And she started laughing again .
Manvi and Viratlooked at each other and started laughing like maniacs .
Manvi (laughing) : Seriously Virat hum dono kii shaadi iss duniya kii sabsi weirdest shaadi hoti .
Virat : seriously yaar ... just imagine our families faces jab hum yeh baat unse kehetain.
Manvi : Sab log bhi kitne confused or shocked hote...humari shaadi insaanon waali nahi balki jaanvar aur alien kii hoti.
They all three were laughing so freely , all the worries were forgotten , Virat saw the big broad smile on Manvi's face and felt nice from inside . He dint know why but it made him upset on seeing her sad. After laughing some more time they went out of the kitchen.
IN THE WEDDING HALL
Everyone was clearing the hall. Manvi was holding some plates when Virat came to her .
Virat : Manvi , actually aaj raat main aur Rohan , Prem ke yahan rehne wale hain ...woh aunty ( prem's mom) ne kahan kii hum unki reception kii tayariyon mein madat kar sakte hain .
Manvi : Matlab kal subah tum yahan nahi rahonge ?
Virat : Um , no aur main tumhe uthane bhi nahi aa sakoonga ... and I dont want that , Manali mein tumhara akhri din bura jaaye .
Manvi looks at him , they both now completely belived that seeing his face in the morning was lucky for her. She smiles , she liked it how he worried about her day going bad .
Manvi : Dont worry , kal ka mera din accha jayega ...
Virat : Kaise ?
Manvi : Woh secret hain , but I promise you kii kal main tumhara face sabse pehele dekhoongi .
Virat : But how.
Manvi : Secret.
Virat : OK Bandariyaa keep secrets , but just say that you will try your best to not get into any trouble when Im not there'after tumhare mom dad se promise kiya hain maine.
Manvi : "Fine" ' then smiles and goes .
Virat too smiles and goes with Rohan.
Manvi stayed awake till 2:30 in the morning , she somehow dint feel good about Virat not coming to wake her up in the morning . She knew that tomorrow wouldn't go bad for her as she would wake up by seeing his face . She had hidden the fact from him but she yet had his photo with her , the same one that he had given her during her last day at Chandigarh and she had planned to see that photo .
On the other hand Virat too dint fall asleep till 2:30 . He was worried about Manvi , what if she fell into some trouble , what if she again lost her balance and fell from somewhere . God he really worried for her . There was something between them ' the way they couldn't see each other sad' the way they understood each other without saying a word'what was it .
NEXT DAY
Manvi woke up by seeing his photo . Everyone got ready ' today was the reception'the girl's side didn't have to do anything , so they started packing their stuff as everyone would go to their own places the next day. Manvi somehow didn't feel good without Virat 'she was packing her stuff . Kiya too was packing her stuff and blabbering about her and Rohan's friendship 'there was something between them too.
It was 5:00 in the evening when Virat and Rohan came to the girl's place . Manvi saw Virat and her face broke into a big broad smile . Virat too was saw her smiling and felt himself smiling . He came to her .
Virat : Hello ji , kaise ho aap ?
Manvi : Ji hum bilkul theek hain ' aap kaise ho?
Virat : So kal humare bina aapki raat kaisi beeti ?
Manvi just looked at him with narrowed eyes : Humesaha chep hii rahoge na ? You will never improve . Chep kahike. Waise tum itne jaldi aa gaye'tum toh shaam ko aane wale the na?
Virat : Haan who aunty bol rahi thi kii hum dono yahan jaaye taaki tum sab kii madadat ho jaaye
Manvi : Help karne aaye ho toh help karo na , kutub minar kii tarah khade kyun ho?
And off she went smiling . Virat too felt nice to see her .
IN THE EVENING
Manvi had dressen up for the reception ' she was wearing a amazingly beautiful saree.She was almost ready except for the jewellery . She opened her jewellery box to find a matching pair of earrings , and after a long serch she found a pair of turqouise studs which were somewhat suiting the saree. She was about to wear them when she noticed Virat come in the room . He was looking handsome as ever in his black sherwani . Manvi turns to him .
Manvi : Virat tum yahan?
Virat : Um Manvi woh actually main tumhe kucch dene aaya hoon.
Manvi : Mujhe , Kya?
Virat : Yeh. " And gives her a medium size jewel box .
Manvi takes it : Yeh kya hain?
Virat : Open and see .
She looks at him and then opens tha box . Unbelivable ... something which she dint expect in the box at all . Inside the box were the same pair of earrings which she had seen in the mall when she was shopping for Jeevika's gift. Manvi couldn't belive that he had bought them for her .
Manvi : Virat yeh earrings...
Virat : You liked them so I thought of buying them for you ... um like a gift .
Manvi : Gift ... kisliye?
Virat : Um tumne hum sab ke liye kitna kucch kiya , chachu ko ek succesful lawyer banaya , mujhe phirse gana gane kii himat dii ... um so for that .
Manvi : Virat tum pagal ho gaye ho , itna mehenga gift . No Virat I cant except this yeh bahut expensive hain .
Virat : Manvi yeh uss feeling se expensive nahi hain joh Chachu , Chachi aur Vadhera khandan ke sab logon ko mili thi chachu ke jeet ke baad. Yeh uss feeling se expensive nahi hain jo mujhe mili hain wapas gana ga ke . Aur Manvi yeh feeling hume sirf tumhari wajah se mili hain ... so un sab ke liye yeh chotta sa gift.
Manvi : Virat par main yeh except nahi kar sakti ..
Virat : Manvi please ... and then he got the perfect idea on how to make Manvi except the gift.
Virat : Manvi agar tumne yeh gift nahi liya toh main bhabhi ko tumhari faint hone ki khabar bata doonga .
Manvi : Virat tum yeh nahi kar sakte...please yaar I cant take it.
Virat : Manvi mere liye nahi toh Bhabhi ke liye yeh gift le lo ...please " He said the please so sweetly that Manvi had to except it.
She gave him that " i give up smile ' and took the earrings .
Virat : Tum ready ho jao main neeche ja raha hoon . And he went to the door when Manvi called him .
Manvi : Viraat.
Virat turns .
Manvi : Thank You .
Virat gives the wecome smile and goes.
Manvi comes down after 10 minutes . She was lookin gorgeous and those earrings were stunning . She came down and went near Kiya .
Kiya : Manvi your looking amazing aur tumhare yeh earrings ...they are sooo beautiful. Kahan se liye.
Manvi looks at Virat and then at Kiya : Um...friend ne diya ... as a gift .
Kiya : Kaash yeh gift mujhe diya hota .
They talked for some more time and then all the people came .
Virat : Ab jab sab aa gaye hain toh , reception chale.
Pia's mom : Haan beta challo .
They all sat in their cars ... In fifteen minutes they reached the venue.
Manvi came out of the car and stood near the gate with Virat behind her .
Virat : How is it ? " He was asking her about the decorations .
Manvi : Chep yeh toh bahut accha hain...
Virat : Afterall help kisne kii.
Manvi turns and makes faces at him.
Everyone came to the gate and Prem's mom came to welcome everyone .
They all went inside...Kiya and Manvi saw Pia and went quickly to her.They hugged each other .
Kiya : Tujhe pata hain humne tumhe kitna miss kiya.
Manvi : Haan aur tu nahi thi isseliye poori raat bak bak karke mera sar pakaya.
Pia laughs . All the six pose for some photos and then Kiya ,Manvi ,Virat and Rohan go off the stage to allow other people to come.
AFTER HALF HOUR
Everyone was talking with everyone ... Pia and Prem too were talking with Virat and friends .
The reception was to have some couple games ... and the anchor for the games was now ready to start them .
Anchor talks over the mike drawing everyone's attention : Hello guyz ...ready to play some couple games .
A small amount of hooting came ...
Anchor : Cool ... so our first game will see how much our couples know about each other... we will ask you some questions about your partner and we will see how many answers are right . So all of you have ten minutes to give in your names for the game . Pia and Prem your name is already given...afterall its your marriage party .
They both just smiled...many couples came to give their names . Rohan whispered something in Kiya's ears which made her face brighten up and then they both just excused themselves . They came after 3 minutes .
Prem : Where did you guyz go?
Rohan : Secret...kucch hii der mein pata chal jayega.
The anchor came on the stage again : Hey Im back and now to start the game...so our first couple is Mr. and Mrs Sharma.
All the couples were called one by one . They all got good marks . Prem and Pia too earned a 9 on 10.
Anchor : And now for the last couple of the evening. And the last couple of the evening are...Virat and Manvi .
Now that caught their whole groups attention...Rohan and Kiya smiled . Manvi and Virat super confused...
Virat : Hum ...
Rohan ; Dude go na...it's just a game .
Kiya ( To Manvi ) : Manvi jaa na yaar..mere dostii ke khatir .
Rohan : Ya guyz for our friendship .
Now this made both of them go on the stage .
Anchor comments on them as they gome on the stage : Oooh...young and cute couple. They both complement each other so well .
Virat was furious , he could kill either that anchor or Rohan ... but he controlled his anger.
Anchor : Hello guyz.
Virat smiles and so does Manvi .
Anchor : So u ready for the questioning .
Manvi Virat : Um ... yes.
Anchor : Cool so Virat you fill this form ... write in your likes for the questions and Manvi you fil this form with your likes.
He gives out the forms ... In five minutes he gets them back with the answers .
Anchor : Cool so who to start with first .
Virat : I'll start .
Manvi hoped that he got only two or three corrects as it would help in clearing the misunderstanding of them being a couple . Virat looked at Manvi .
Anchor : So Virat , first question , what is Manvi's fav. colour.
Virat : Manvi ka fav colour hain white...he remembered that once Manvi had told him that her fav colour was white.
Anchor : Absolutely correct .
CLAPS...
Manvi little surprised thought : Don't worry ek answer toh correct banta hain...baaki ke galat aayenge .
Anchor : Doosra sawal , Manvi ka fav food...
Virat smiles , he knew this better than anyone present there : Manvi ko Indian food sabse zyaada pasand hain khaas kar kii dhabe ka khana .
Anchor : Correct...amazing start .
Manvi just smiles .
Anchor : Third question , Manvi's fav song.
Now that caught Virat...he dint know that. He recollected the day Manvi talked about music to him ... for her anyone's fav song should be the song that match their ideologies...and their was only one song which came to his mind which suited Manvi's ideas of living...he hesitated on weather he should tell that as her fav song , but then it was just a mere game . He decided to say the song .
Virat : Um..Jazba ..Manvi's fav song .
Anchor : That's absolutely correct.
It sent a somewhat relief through Virat...he was happy that he knew that much about Manvi. On the other hand Manvi was shocked ... he knew that too . She wanted to be angry , upset but somehow she was happy. She was happy that he knew that much about her .
Anchor : Ab fourth question , You have to tell the name of a person who irritates Manvi the most but yet he or she knows her so well that he or she can calm and control her in the wildest situation . In short someone who's her enemy and yet her close friend .
Virat and Manvi look at each other . Manvi was smiling and Virat too .
Virat : Honestly , it's me .
Manvi laughed and Virat smiled...people laughed and hooted.
Anchor : Ooohhh...now for the last question . If Manvi was to choose from being invisible or reading people's mind what would she choose and why .
Virat looks at Manvi and says : Manvi would read people's mind...and that is because she can't see anyone sad around her , so if any one is sad she would know why and try her whole best to make them happy . Aur waise bhi koi bhi Manvi par vishwaas nahi rakhta toh agar usse sab ke minds padne kii shakti mil jaaye toh usska kaam aasan ho jayega.
Virat was looking at Manvi all the while ... she was very happy now , he knew her so well...
Anchor : Amazing ... that's absolutely correct . You have a got a complete five ... wow .
Everyone was clapping for Virat even Manvi . She wanted him to answer all wrong but he answered all right and instead of being angry she felt nice.
Anchor : Ab Manvi aapki baari hain...you ready.
Manvi somewhat felt that she had to get all the answers right...if Virat knew her so well she should also know him that well.

Manvi : Red...he loves red .
Anchor : Coool ,correct...now second question...Virat's fav food.
Manvi : Italian...jab dekho pizza ya pasta khata rehta hain.
Anchor : Bilkul sahi...teesra sawal , Virat fav song.
Manvi remembered that day of karvachauth when he told her that Voh dekhnay mein ( the song he sang for her ) had become his fav.song . Well there was the answer.
Manvi : His fav song is Voh dekhnay mein ...
Anchor : Correct...now fourth question. That one person who is Virat's favourite enemy and yet his super close friend .
Now Manvi looked at Him and smiled .
Manvi : Main . It's me.
Anchor : Correct ... wow , now the last question which will decide the perfect couple of the evening . , If he was to choose from being invisible or reading people's mind what would he choose and why .
Manvi : He would be invisible...kyunkii aise bahut saare log hain jinse isse badla lena hain.
Everyone was waiting for the anchor to say the result ...
Anchor : This answer was ( in a very sad tone ) ... absolutely ... correct . ( And smiles )
Manvi laughs and Virat smiles...his trademark smile.
Anchor : Guyzz we have our perfect couple over here Virat and Manvi .
People clap and hoot ( happily) . Kiya , Rohan ,Pia and Prem clap the loudest..they were happy ... it all had been Rohan's idea as he had seen some spark between them .
Anchor requested Prem's mom and dad to come and award Virat Manvi .
They got their trophy and went down ...all people came to them congradulating them both . Many said that they were the cutest or the most lovely couple . Well they dint know the truth .
Virat and Manvi came to Rohan and friends . Now they four too decided to pull Manvi Virat's leg . When they came Kiya gave Manvi a tight hug .
Kiya : I knew it ..you guyz are sooo made for each other.
Rohan : Ya u guyz are amazing.
Prem : Tum dono ne humare group ka sar garv se uccha kar diya .
Pia : You guyz are such a perfect couple.
Virat and Manvi in unison:Hum couple nahi hain!!!!
Manvi : Ab agar tum mein se kisi ne bhi iss topic pe baat kii toh main wapas ghar chali jaoongi.
Kiya laughing : OK sorry .
They continued talking on other topics . During eating dinner Prem and Pia decided to talk to other guests as it was their responsiblity.
Kiya , Rohan , Manvi and Virat were eating when Virat got a brizzare idea but decided to ask Viren's permission before .
Virat to Manvi : Manvi hold my plate main abhi aata hoon " And makes Manvi hold his plate...she had her plate in one hand and his in another .
He talked to Viren and got his and dadaji's permission for his plan. He came back in 10 minutes.
Manvi : Where did you go ? Mere haath dard karne lage hain...
Virat takes his plate : Sorry...par badi multitasking karne lagi hon tum , plates bhi balance karti hon aur baatein bhi karti hon .
Manvi makes faces .
Virat eats and asks to Rohan : Rohan yaar tu ab iss shaadi ke baad kya kar raha hain?
Rohan : Um next week main Chandigarh ke ek small town mein jaa raha hoon ... kaam ke silsiley mein .
Virat : Oh aur Kiya tum?
Kiya : Well nothing , main free hoon ... thinking of joing some cooking class or something like that .
Virat : Cool , then why dont you both join me and Manvi in Chandigarh .
All three of them surprised at that idea.
Rohan : Par Virat your family...
Virat : Maine bhai aur dadaji se permission le lee hain...they have no problem . Aur Manvi ko bhi Kiya ki company mil jaayegi .
Manvi : Haan yaar'waise bhi kabhi bhi Vadheras kii party itni boring ho jaati hain ki main khadi khadi hii wahan par so (sleep) jaati hoon . Virat kabhi kabhi mujhe company deta hain par ab main iss chep kii company se bore ho gayi hoon .
Virat : Manvi that's so mean ' but ya guys you should come , sab ko accha lagega .
Manvi : Haan Kiya waise bhi tujhe free mein wahan di , chachi aur Vanshikha aunty se khana banana seekhne ko milega aur Rohan tum bhi Chandigarh aane hii wale ho , toh humare saath reh kar tumhara kaam bhi ho jaayega aur Virat aur baki sab ke saath waqt bitane ko milega.
Kiya and Rohan thought about it for a moment'it wasn't that bad idea.
Kiya : Mujhe koi problem nahi hain'main mom ko phone karke poonchti hoon.
And she went to call her mom .
Rohan : Main bhi phone karke poonchta hoon. And he went too.
Manvi was smiling broadly and hoping that both their parents agree.
Manvi (to Virat ) : Kya baat hain chep kabhi kabhi tumhara dimag bhi chal jaata hain .
Virat : Thank You ji'waise pata hain maine humesha inn dono mein ( Rohan and Kiya ) kucch spark dekha hain .
Manvi looks at him : Sacchi mein , mujhe laga kii sirf main hii ek pagal hoon joy eh sochti thi kii inn dono mein kucch ho sakta hain ,par tum bhi doosre pagal nikle.
Virat smiles . Rohan and Kiya come having their faces lightened up with big smiles.
Rohan : Mujhe permission mil gayi.
Kiya : Mujhe bhi.
Manvi and Virat were super happy . Manvi gives Kiya a small hug.
Manvi : Yes ab hum aur do hafte saath rahenge.
Kiya : Par Manvi ek problem hain.
Manvi : Kya
Kiya : Who kya hain na ' main zyaada daily use ke kapde nahi laaye hain.
Manvi smiles : Uss mein kya badi baat hain ' tum mere kapde pehen lena aur waise bhi do teen dino mein Beeji bhi aayegi toh , main unhe kehen doongi kii mere tohde aur suits le aaye.
Kiya : Then cool . No problem .
Virat : So cool kal hum sab ja rahe hain Chandigarh .
Well now Chandigarh had to be ready as this time not two but four bandars were coming . But who knows they might be something more than bandars for each other.
