Pain

(Muskaan's FF - Truly Magical)

Pain, pain is all that I feel
Whether it is inside of me or outside of me
I look around everywhere and all I see is darkness just darkness and no light
I try to take a step forward, but I keep going backwards falling and stumbling
I try to reach out for a hand, but I only manage to grasp some air
My tears are flowing... running down my cheek
My hearts feels pain in each and every breath
My voice refuses to come out of my mouth
I am so lost, scared and confused
I crave for a hug, a caress and warmth of words
I look up to someone, anyone who can help me
I find no one...except me..just standing all alone as always

I love the lanugage, diction, imagery and flow...marvelous dear 👍🏼

the FF writers that u write poems for are very fortunate to have someone like u spend their time and make a poem for their FF. very lucky indeed.

i wonder if i will ever get lucky 😆

Wish You Were Mine

Seven years of pain

Seven years of loneliness

Seven years of unhappiness

A day comes in my life...

Where I find you in front of me

You look the same, ever so same from outside

Yet, so broken from the inside

Your beautiful eyes give away your hidden pain

Your eyes are lifeless, listless and hollow

The pain in them speaks of volumes

The pain in them cannot match the pain and suffering I went through

Your pain is hundred folds more than mine

I wish I could do something, anything

To take that pain away

I feel helpless standing here in front of you

Because I am unable to take the pain away from you

Since you are no longer mine

Your name is now linked with someone else's name

Oh! I wish that you were mine!

I wish that you were mine!

Only mine!

The only hope of happiness I have is from the little angel who is yours

Who lights up my heart every time I see her face

I feel an instant connection with her

And my heart starts beating faster when I am near her

My smile widens when she looks at me

I feel content when she holds my hand

I feel peaceful when she falls asleep in my arms

I want to make her happy

And give her everything that she deserves

I want her to accept me

I want her to love me

Because I feel she is mine

I am lost when she gets upset at me

I feel rejection when she does not look at me

And that is how I felt on my birthday

When she was not happy with me

I felt like I failed again, yet again

I did not know what to do

I did not know how to make her happy

And so I did what I am used to doing

Yelling! And I yelled at her

And she went away crying...away from me.
