Wednesday 1st June 2011 Episode - 73

Vasanthi calls her husband, wants him to come home immediately, got some good news to share. Runs to the gate excitedly when she hears a bike and back inside when it is not Vasu. Finally Vasu arrives. Asks what is so urgent, she asks him to guess. He gets a call meanwhile - tells the caller that he will be back in the office in a few minutes. Vasanthi gives him the newspaper. There is a surrogate mother like how she wanted. Vasu too is excited, asks if Dr. Kalpana brought someone else. Did your mother suggest anyone? My mother's consent is required answers Vasanthi. Vasu is confident that her mother would accept because they are waiting for a decision by Vasanthi for a very long time. Infact she neednt have called him, could have spoken to her mother direct. She will. Vasu wants to know who is the surrogate mother. Vasanthi gives the newspaper column, asking him to read, heads towards the kitchen. On her way tells Murugan on the way to take care of her husband who is reading the newspaper. Get into his mind and make him accept, kumkum kuduthuttu kowthudadha she warns Murugan. Vasu reading and Vasanthi eagerly waiting.

Mani drives Sathya to PK's house. We have arrived he announces, Sathya not interested in meeting PK. Mani says it could be dangerous if he doesnt meet PK when he wants to. Sathya is not scared, he just wants to see PK. PK reading a newspaper, Mani introduces Sathya and leaves. Neethaan PK yaa asks Sathya. PK mouths Veerapandia kattabomman dialogue - neerthaan Jackson durai enbavarO..and laughs. Sathya did not want to see him but PK's PA forced him. He has been brought without any bloodshed, he should be happy. Sathya is a rowdy too. PK wants to know why Sathya speaks only cinema dialogue. PK gets a call, asks permission from Sathya and attends. He requests/orders someone to give a job for Sathya - some high profile job. Sathya is not impressed by PK's ways. neenga blendaa (adhu bluntungO PK - MBA)pEsinaalum romba sharp commends PK. Sathya's pen is sharper he trumpets. He will write what he feels is right. Fire in every journalist he claims. PK wants to know what happened with the Kidney transplant story - did some fire engine come and put out the fire. Sathya accepts that what he wrote was wrong - but that was because Rathy Bharathi hurt his ego. He has umpteen such reasons to degrade Shanthi Nilayam. But what has PK got to save Shanthi Nilayam's honour. Sathya mumbles that PK was a kandhu vatti until the day before but today... PK wants him to talk it out loud and clear for him to hear.

Sathya repeats , but why today 33% shareholder in Shanthi Nilayam. Why? Sathya will find out and write pages. The cat will be out of the bag. PK walks to Sathya, appreciates his bravery. Sathya says he cannot be bought with such sweet talks. Everything has a price says PK, but Sathya sees the value he tells. Never call for such things in future his last statement before he leaves. PK decides that Sathya has to be dealt in a different way - his usual way.

GDP at work. Her PA comes and informs Thamizh Kadir waiting for GDP. GDP in full flow Telugu tells she got the post he wanted, and he sent a bouquet with thanks, why now. Realising she is talking in Telugu asks her PA if she followed what was said and the PA who says she understood tells the exact opposite meaning - that Thamizh Kadir did not thank GDP. After explaining what was said in Telugu, GDP also mentions that she is not interested in meeting Thamizh Kadir. The PA again insists and is dismissed byGDP saying she too needs an appointment. PA parrots that to Thamizh Kadir that he cant meet GDP without an appointment. He borrows a paper and pen writes a note for GDP, couriers through the PA. GDP reads the note "adharmaththin vaazhvuthannai needhi vellum" - realises he wants to say something, so decides to meet him.

The PA comes out to find an empty sofa, gets a call from Thamizh Kadir, he knew GDP will meet him so on his way to her room. The CBI / vigilance officers in the car - Ram says that it is half an hour since the Planning Commission Chairman went in. The boss asks Ram to change his watch - it is 45 minutes - must have got an appointment. Ram feels that they dont get an appointment but... The boss tells him there are 16 cases pending against Thamizh Kadir - wants the related papers by next morning. Such bureaucrats and politicians being held at ransom by such liasons is a shame to the Nation. Ram wants two days leave to entertain his athai's daughter coming from Delhi - will submit after that. The boss warns that he would lose his job.

GDP is doing freehand drawing. Thamizh Kadir asks if she likes drawing, she does for time pass. He eyes the ashtray with a cigarette bud. GDP sees that, passes the ashtray saying it is for people like him. He just had one. GDP warns that smoking is injurious to health, there are people who think she smokes seeing the ashtray. Thamizh Kadir laughs it as a joke, now GDP wants to know why he is here. Thamizh Kadir warns that there is danger around after making sure no one else is around. GDP says life itself is dangerous and she would save him. GDP is in danger - she laughs. He tells her about the CBI keeping a watch over her, because there are people who are moving coins to endanger her position. She knows it too. Asks her to lie low for sometime. She feels it is not so serious as of now, she will cross the bridge when she has to. Thamizh Kadir continues with the present condition of people, their movement. He gets a call from someone, says he will be there in half hour. Thamizh Kadir wants her to change her colour. Get married, leave all this for sometime. Once they get to know she doesnt deal with such things they will leave her.

GDP thinks over what Thamizh Kadir said - get married - change yourself into a housewife. Calls her Secretary Rupa, wants information about Akash, CFO of Shanthi Nilayam. Akash on her computer screen - she gets phone calls continuously.

Rathi- Periappa - Akash having light chit chat. Rathi teases periappa growing younger & younger with his latest dressing style ' of late started wearing check shirts [ Thirumurugan kathu adichuduthu pola ]. Periappa refutes , says a butterfly cannot be a larva. Now coming to the point ,periapp tells Rathi that it is better she changes her misconception about PK. It is because of him sathya matter is closed. KaNkal editor dropped the idea of publishing Sathya's article. Akash does chaing chak.rathi is not ready to buy this argument , is sure PK must have done some golmaal. PK comes , given a clapping welcome by periappa. Rathi kadu kadu. Chellameyin oosipona Vadai paga uruging here. With a false smile on his lips avizhthu viding his Gandhian principles ' went and met the KaNkaL editor , convinced him our side nyayam dharmam , & the editor dropped the matter immediately. Awww Rathi is not ready to believe it while periappa/ Akash completely floored. Akash opines had Rathi too the same pakkuvam & handled Sathya deftly in the past such head aches could have been avoided.. Rathi is totally un amused. Akash & Periyappa leave. PK's drooling continues. Rathi not ready to accept his Gandhiya vadam asks him to come out with the truth. PK accepts bribing editor. Tried the same Gandhiyan ahimsa method with Sathya , didn't work , so resorted to himsa method , a small accident ,Sathya in hospital with plastered legs ,once bitten , never will try his stunt on SN again.

Vasanthi trying to ascertain husband's view on her selection of her mother as vadagai thai. Husband not happy with the idea- not suitable to our culture & society. Vasanthi says she cares two hoots for the society & their wagging tongue , convinced that there is nothing wrong in her suggestion . Now hubby raises the same doubt as that of eljay ' what happens to the relationship- will you be mother or sister to the baby ' your mother granny or mother? Endless arguments & counter arguments . Finally hubby yields to wife's wishes-Ennavo pannu , your happiness is also mine [ so sweet 😆]

Rathi walks in to Naren's room , fretting , fuming & panting ' rascal , scoundrel , porukki , rogue , idiot adjective galore. Naren thinks loudly I am sweet rascal who could be the verum rascal. Rathi is in no mood to enjoy his jokes. Declares she wants to have their marriage immediately ' 24^th of this month ' no invitation ' no mandapam ' just family & close relatives. Naren is clueless for this sudden outburst & decision. Presumes PK could be the reason , tries to persuade her not to take hasty decision. But Rathi is firm .As you please says another to be husband.[Again so sweet 😃

Drooling master comes to SN , apparently MD has sent the invitation to meet. Rathi greets him cordially & offers to take his seat. The man is in LaLa land. Indulges in self praise ' deposited Rs.404000 in Kaakum Karangal undiyal for usage of so many English words. Presents her a gold necklace.Rathi gives him a look [ superb emotional combination ' ivana paarthu kobap padaradha , sirikkiradha ,paridhabap padaadha , aathirappadaradha engira madhiri oru look👏 ].

After this part Tech Satish stopped abruptly. The following as told by my mother.Pl fill in the missing part.

Rathi informs PK about her decision to tie the knot with Naren on 24^th of the month[human anatomyla hero[in] but human psychologyla zero. Why in such a hurry 😡]. First invitation to him . PK says still 20 days there for the wedding , so many changes can happen ' surely will attend the wedding , will be seated in the front row to witness Naren tying the thali or for that matter to see How Naren ties the thali round her neck .

Monday 6/6/11 Archives ' Copy
Maha comes with a newspaper to Rathy - talks about Sathya's accident
and says that he got what he deserved - " I begged him ...not to publish
Salima amma's story...never listened..but ippO Samy punishment kuduthuttar "
Rathy has visions of Prem gloating about the punishment meted out to
Sathya. Asks Maha " where is he?? I would like to see him " Maha says that he
is in some Govt. hospital "but why do u want to see him?? He maligned your
name and the hospital?" Rathy tells a story " two friends A and B were in the
beach. A scolded B and so B wrote on the beach sand that A scolded me and
so he is a bad guy . Later B was about to drown and A saved him. This time B
wrote on a rock stone that A saved him. So, you just remember the good done
to you and forget the bad stuff " - Nalla kathai , thanks KB sir.

Second part kOnjam juvenile - KB probably thought that he should deviate from
discussing serious issues 😉 Naren's house. His parents are there and Naren
is surprised to see them come back so soon. Mommy drags him to the dining
table and Naren is fed. He goes ga ga over the food and mommy says that they
brought a maid from CBE . naren says that thye should never let that girl go
away but mommy says that the girl is getting married next month and so won't
stay with them. Naren goes to talk to that girl who is hiding in the kitchen and
prefers to talk with the ladle (SOllathaan Ninaikkiren le ye ithu seythuttinga 😉😉)
than words. Finally ...finally Naren sees Rathy with the proverbial ladle in hand.
Mommy says that Rathy rang them up and asked them to come asap "said that the
marriage will be done soon...ella velaiyum azagha seyyara...suregery from daddy
Sakkarai pOngal from mommy nnu sonna..." Well, all are happy. Hmmm, Prem
Kumar kannile pada koodathu ambuttu thenn 😉

Third segment - pun with words time. Vasanthy is morose and Viji prods. Not that
Vasanthy is ready to come clean. Viji thinks that it is the usual hubby-wife quarrel
and says that she can no more mention kids " you guys have to talk it out " Vasanthy
drags mommy to the temple ... silence continues. Viji has had enough " we are back ...
now tell me...what is it?" Vasanthy asks " will u do whatever I ask??" Viji says that
she can't make a blind promise. Vasanthy dilly dallies " so, naan yethanum kekka
koodatha thai kettu duvennu scared??" Viji says " No, solla koodatha bathil ai sollida
porennu bayam" ...finally, Vasanthy does not spill ...

Update for Tues, June 7, 2011:

Vasanthi and her mother - Vasanthi asks her mother how much she loves her and would she do anything for her. Viji says she will do anything, even give up her life. Then Vasanthi tells her that she has found the surrogate mother, and takes her mother to the mirror to show her the person. Viji is shocked, to say the least.

GDP and Nandini - Nandini says the camp was a big success, and Akash had come on the first day, looked like Tom Hanks in his off white suit, and she wants to thank him personally. She has been dreaming about him at night, she wants to tell him that she loves him. GDP advises her against being hasty in declaring her love, and says she will do it for Nandini (that's what you think, Nandini, just wait till you find out her plan!).

Vasanthi has been following her mother around, asking her for forgiveness, asking her to talk, but Viji goes about ignoring her. She follows Viji into the kitchen, but Viji just says that if the two of them would eat, she could clear the table. Finally, Vasanthi gives up and goes to Vasu.
Vasu asks Vasanthi if she has told her mother and what did her mother say. She tells him that her mother has not talked to her and he says he expected something like this.

Naren's mother is on the phone, talking to someone and eating the entire time, describing Rathy and her cooking skills and Naren's father is trying to stop her from eating. Finally, the two of them end up arguing about her eating and Naren, who has been listening, asks what is going on. Naren's mom wants to go to Mangadu but Naren says he is busy that day. She says Okay, I will call someone who will take me. Naren says Don't disturb Rathy, but mom says she wasn't thinking of Rathy, she was planning to call Ezhil. Naren tells his mom not to blabber anything to Ezhil, she is not what she seems to be, but mom thinks she is an outspoken girl, innocent, who just speaks whatever is on her mind.

As they are talking, Ezhil comes in. She has brought Pal Gova for them, and Naren's mom is thrilled, naturally! When Naren's mom talks of going to Mangadu, she says she will take her to Mangadu, Tiruverkadu, Mylapore everywhere. She is shocked when Naren's mom says that Naren is getting married, and asks when she herself would get married. She says that she had hoped that she would get married on the same day as Naren, after a year and a half (she didn't say that she hoped that she would be the one to marry Naren!) and leaves with a stunned expression on her face.

Wednesday - Eclat

8th June 2011 Episode - 77

Vijimma keeps the rubbish bag out, sees a grandmother konjing her granddaughter. Takes the pookkoodai, goes to light the lamp - hears water running in the kitchen, closes it, electricity back, turns off the fan. She feels heavy hearted while doing all this. Watches the IPL on tv, RCB Vs CSK - Gayle batting 😉 Vasu takes some magazine, goes away, Vasanthi dusts the area and leaves. Each to his own, no one talking to each other. The telephone rings - Vijimma doesnt pick it up. Vasanthi picks up the call, Vasu would be home late. Vijimma goes around lost in deep thought. Next morning - Vasanthi looking up for her mother on and off, dusting... Vasu is ready, Vasanthi goes up to Vijimma, who is packing her uniform, is asked to have her favourite breakfast. Vijimma has some work in the hospital, will have it at the canteen. Vasanthi goes behind Viji saying amma, sorry, punish me, but dont leave without talking. Vijimma promises to talk after she is back in the night.

Naren gets a call - is wished as dear idhayam specialist. He too calls her heart specialist. The caller (Ezhil) says it would rain. Why turning into a weatherman Naren wants to know. Usually Naren doesnt talk, but today he is in a jovial mood too. Surprising, even after talking 5 words he hasnt disconnected. Will disconnect he says, the love has started only now, why talk inauspicious words now. Naren wants to tell her something. She knows what he is about to tell. What asks Naren. Want to talk to her face to face. How do you know exactly he asks her. Adhu enna kambasoothramaa she asks - he wants her to repeat the word. She realises her folly and tells not difficult to guess. Seeing the 108 I Love yous he must have been terrified. Thought that she is a kaadhal theeviravaadhi, again idiot Naren asks her to repeat - she translates it as love terrorist. Naren asks if she would come. She would definitely so that he knows who she is and her love for him.

Vasu reaches home calls for Vasanthi - no reply. He goes to the bald upstairs - Vasanthi in thinking mode. Chides her for not answering. Vasanthi in tears. She wants to know what her mother would say after getting back from office. She called her in the afternoon, but she disconnected. Vasanthi is sure that her mother will get out of the house. Vasu tries to tell her, but Vasanthi was confident that her mother would accept. ThEvaiya indha dhandanai he adds. Punishment is not for Vasanthi but for her mother. Why should she stay like an orphan. Until Vijimma tells her decision dont conclude anything - lets wait prophecies Vasu.

Both husband and wife eagerly waiting for Vijimma who has promised to talk once back from work. They hear the scooty. The power goes off. How to talk about this in the dark wonders Vasu. What is the use in cribbing it is dark, saying Vijimma lights the candle. It is already 10 pm, why not had dinner yet Vijimma asks them both. Waiting for you, so that we can have dinner together answers Vasu. Vijimma goes to the kitchen to bring the food. They must be wondering what Vijimma must be thinking she says from there. Vasanthi is sorry for having asked, she answers from the dining table. You asked me - your mother. You have all the rights to ask she tells Vasanthi. Relief on Vasanthi's face. Smile. The moment Vasanthi asked such a thing, Vijimma was shocked she continues. She even asked herself if Vasanthi realised what she was asking for. Vocabulary didnt function - so did not talk. Chinnavayasula nee ennalaamO kEttuirukka, kozhandhai kEkkaraaLEnu vaangi kuduthu irukken, aanaa nee ippo kozhandhaiya kEppanu edhirpaarkkala.

Vijimma begins laying the plates. When she thought about it, felt there was nothing wrong in Vasanthi asking. Just because Vijimma cant give what she asked for, doesnt make it wrong on Vasanthi's part. Vijimma is unable to fathom why she couldnt accept it in the first place. After thinking for long, she was able to decipher it was her selfishness. She was only thinking about what the world around will tell, if her body will be able to take it - was all centered around herself - hence couldnt accept readily. When she was able to address the issue without personal thoughts - it became a trivial matter. Why bother about the world, you see it when you open your eyes, it vanishes when you close your eyes. We have to decide when we need to close our eyes. Vijimma has decided to close her eyes in Vasanthi's case.

The society consists of four people. Why bother about the invisible four? When Vasanthi eloped with Vasu, Vijimma was worried about the invisible four and lost Vasanthi. Now she got her daughter back. And now Vijimma realises that they are not only invisible but also their imagination. Anything new is bound to be rebelled / repelled. But as more people incorporate it in life, it would be a different thing. People might ask instead of becoming a grandmother she has donned to be a mother. She is ready with the reply,if you have a daughter who cannot become a mother, you being a grandmother will start thinking about the mother. Vasanthi is really bright now. This is our life, the decision is solely ours, why should be scared of others Vijimma questions. She goes on to describe the first time a baby was born being cut open. Named Ceasarian after the child, is a very common thing now. But the mother must have been put to so much shame then. All these would become common in future too. The ones who practise it first would be put to trials and tribulations. Just need God's blessings - the power comes on. Is taken to as acceptance of God. Whatever be the problem, it can be blown away - the candle gets blown off with a promise from Vijimma to bear Vasanthi's child. Vijimma would be happy when Vasanthi asks her when her mother would deliver the child. Mummy and daughter hug and cry

Thursday 09.06.2011 Update By Srima

GDP waiting in Akash's cabin. Informs Nandini about the same. Akash is getting delayed , GDP is restless , meantime receives few calls on her cell. Akash arrives . GDP teases whether he remembers her. Akash says- am not a person to forget faces easily & specially yours.. So, continues GDP that she must be a regular visitor in his dreams. No dreams says Akash because no sleep. But you visited twice in my dream says GDP – the only person visiting without prior appointment. Conversation - mesmerism ,Obama , positive thinkingnu oru suthu suthitu comes to the purpose of her visit – Thanks Giving visit for arranging the medical camp. GDP calls her aide to bring the bouquet , gives it to Akash along with Poison –Men's perfume. [Once again KB style- playing with the word poison].Now Akash enquires about Nandini's absence. GDP apologises for Nandini's lack of manners- kaariyam mudinjavudan kaNama poyita , no gratitude.Later GDP hands over an envelope containing her Kavithais to Akash & leaves. Akash opens the envelope & to his dismay finds just plain papers. GDP replies – "Vaarthaikulla adangadhadha ezhudha mudiyadhu". Akash in plain paper La La land.

Sathya in a general ward , reeling under pain , Rathi pays him a visit , chides him for having got admitted in a general ward , could have sought her help , notices the poor bandaging , blood oozing from it , calls out the nurse & scolds , recklessly reply by the nurse- be happy with what you get , if not welcome to lodge a complaint . [ such callous attitude of staff quite common phenomenon in free patient wards – a sad state of affairs]. Rathi is aghast at the nurse's behaviour, dismisses her with a periya kumbidu , decides to help Sathya , calls a doctor friend attached to the hospital [ probably would shift Satya to SN].

Scene shifts to Naren's house. Rathi's mother drops in to meet them . Naren's parents express their satisfaction & happiness over Rathi/Naren's decision for early marriage. Horoscope matching matter crops up. Rathi's mother opines manap porutham more important to Grahap porutham. Naren's father also agrees – manam is the most powerful graham , if that matches well why worry about the rest. Majority wins , Naren's mom had little option but to accept.

Back to Sathya . Now in a cleaner environment in SN , still in pain. His wife accuses that all these are his own doing – keduvaar kedu ninaippor - blow to his bloated ego, tried to harm Rathi in many ways , so God punished him. But Sathya feels it is the handiwork of PK . Dr. Rathi comes for the round along with her junior. The junior doctor points out , had it not been Dr. Rathi's prompt action ,his condition could have gone worse, to the extent of even amputation. Sathya truly feels sorry & seeks apology for all his wrong doings to her &SN. Rathi speaks – Medical profession ethics is saving life even of arch enemy- dad's advise. Never considered you as my enemy , but my critic. Your comments should prod me to make progress in my profession rather than being annoyed. Sathya is moved , says God has punished him as his intentions were never as noble as hers , was literally in tears. Rathi in an attempt to ease the grim situation cracks the English joke – God cures – but doctor takes the fee.

Heart specialist in search of his heart patient. Ezhil meets him , teases whether still looking for his heart patient. Naren looks at her intently , then gives her a resounding slap. Says he knew it right from the beginning it is she who is playing the prank , just waited to see how far she is going. Ezhil admits , she too started it as a prank but later realized she is deeply in love with him , can't live with out him , will see to it that Naren ties the knot with her.[better jodi for PK - 2 negatives might make a positive].

Monday 13th June 2011 Episode - 79

Naren telling Ezhil's misdeeds to Rathy. Rathy feels maybe she has OCB. Possible, affirms Naren, and to top it all she loves Naren. The first time Rathy is seeing a girl do this, usually it is the boys. Why didnt Naren tell that Rathy & he are marrying soon. Naren did, asks Rathy to guess what her reply would have been. To marry Rathy and love Ezhil replies Rathy. Something to that effect says Naren. Rathy teases him saying he must have been very happy. Naren in no mood to joke. He is worried she might start stalking, blackmailing, attempting suicide kind of stuff. Rathy asks him if he is happy if she would do so. Naren tells her not to think such things. Rathy asks for Ezhil's number, Naren knows it by heart - she asks if he has been talking so much to Ezhil. Rathy's call from her mobile is not answered by Ezhil. Rathy takes Naren's phone and calls her. Ezhil picks the call, Rathy puts the phone on loudspeaker mode. Ezhil konji konji talking to the idhayam specialist, asking him to marry Rathy & love Ezhil. She knows that Naren has a soft corner for her. Asks why he is not talking after calling. Rathy disconnects the call and says seriyaana pisaasaa iruppaa pOlairukku. Naren is worried if she would commit suicide. Let her - good riddance says Rathy. Naren gets a call from Ezhil. Rathy disconnects - happens a couple of times. Rathy asks him to count the number of missed calls, she is going to the ward.

Premkumar comes to Dr.Naren's room for some signature. Naren asks why did PK come personally, could have sent it through an attender. Both of us are directors so no formality says PK. Naren teases about PK's show of humility. PK congratulates Naren. Naren asks for what? PK asks Dr.Naren to diagnose. Dr.Naren needs symptoms to diagnose. Why pre-pone the wedding asks PK. There is no such word in the dictionary points out Naren. Be Indian, Buy Indian, Dress Indian is equated to the usage of the word. Yes, on 24th Naren & Rathy are getting married confirms Naren. Marriages made in heaven need not necessarily happen on Earth prophecies PK. None of your business shouts Naren. PK says it is his business because he has invested so much in the hospital. If the marriage takes place the management of the hospital would be in docks. The morale of the staff would go down, the goodwill of the hospital would be hurt, the shares of the hospital would go south, so PK is worried for his money. Naren asks him to consult a psychiatrist. PK says he is not worried unduly. Naren's & Rathy's horoscope dont match, hence this confusion. Naren doesnt believe in these horoscopes, then scan in rahukalam and operate in yamagandam is PK's reply.

He showed Naren's & Rathy's jathagam to a josiyar who said that they do not match. In 6 months' time there is a separation - could be death or divorce - asks Naren to decide. But PK's & Rathy's jathagam match perfectly. So he will reap the benefit. Naren is sure the marriage would take place, PK would bless them, PK says it is Naren's dream. Naren asks him to get out. He does, but before leaving says Naren's mental health is getting affected, Physician heal thyself .

Naren's parents getting ready to leave for the temple. Sivakami the mother is waiting for the pattu pudavai given for iron. After some word play they decide to go simply dressed. Mani announces the arrival of PK. PK butters them saying he is coming from the temple - good sagunam. He asks Mani to wait in the car. Introduces himself as a director of SN. Naren is also a director says the father. Naren has 2% shares, he has 33% shares, almost like the owner of SN. Rathy Bharathi screams Sivakami. Chinna Mudhalaali replies PK. Mother & father happy that the director has come home to see them, PK goes on to enquire about the wedding preparations. Is going on, everything in God's hands - so were leaving for the temple to do a vishesha poojai. Definitely should do, horoscope matched marriages itself fails, this wedding is fixed without all those, so the special poojai is a must he says.

Dont you believe in horoscopes he asks them, it is a science and he believes in it. The parents do believe but Rathy's mother wasnt interested. PK fans their belief saying sondha selavula sooniyam vechchupaangaLaa, Blames Rathy's mother for hiding the facts - Rathy's horoscope has some dhosham. So he visited different temples for their welfare...gives the prasadam with the thayathu, kayiru etc etc for Naren. He asks them to go to the temple because Rathy's jathagam has dhosham. Takes leave.

Sivakami is mad at Rathy's mother. Seeing one hand after Naren's arrival she fumes. Father also feels his wife is right.

Ezhil enters Rathy's room - she is asked to sit. Rathy says she knows everything, Naren has told her everything, including her love for Naren. Ezhil says that is her right - to love Naren - even after knowing Rathy & Naren's love asks Rathy. That is your problem replies Ezhil. Have I ever interefered in your personal stuff asks Rathy. You can, I have the smartness to placate you replies Ezhil. Can you think straight and talk to me asks Rathy. What if this becomes a reason for Ezhil to lose her job. Ezhil didnt expect personal problem to become an official problem - unethical she declares. Rathy feels when both personal problems clash - Ezhil is not asking a few questions because Rathy is the MD and her job is at stake. Rathy says she has almost lost the job, so she can shout at Rathy, pour all her anger and anguish over her.

Ezhil has worked for Rathy, so she would say her point in a very calm way. If Rathy is confident and sincere about her love, then she shouldnt bother if a 100 women come in the way. Why should Ezhil's love affect her? Rathy is feeling insecure diagnoses Ezhil. Are you Sigmund Freud Rathy doubts. She reminds that Ezhil is just Ezhil. Ezhil is talking like herself, but Rathy is talking like a mentally sick person, so Ezhil has to become Sigmund Freud. Dont juggle words to hide mistakes, she has disturbed Naren - that is reason enough to be dismissed. Ezhil is asked to type her own dismissal order - just then - without any mistakes.

Update for Tues, Jun 14, 2011:

Naren comes home, to see his mother sitting downcast on a chair. He asks her what the matter is, and she says, Go ask your dad. He goes and finds Dad, sitting on a chair in another room, asks him what the matter with Mom is, and he says, your mom has the complaint putthagam. He goes back to mom, asks her, and she says, ellam about the pithalaatam and lies. Whose pithalaatam, whose lies, he asks and is referred back to dad. Finally he gets the truth out of them, that it was a big shot of Shanthi Nilayam, and the pithalaatam refers to the jadagam of Rathy which her mother didn't give them, and isn't hiding the matter about the dosham the same as lying, mom asks? Naren gets angry and tells them that he is a liar, but dad says not to refer to him in ekavachanam, give him respect, he is a major shareholder in SN. Naren leaves, saying he is a "hypocrat" !

Vasanthi and Vasu at the doctor's office, Vasanthi is sweating in the AC room, and the doctor remarks on it. She says she is nervous about all the tests they have done on her mother, and the doctor says all the tests have come out positive. They were also worried when they heard that Vijima had agreed to be a surrogate mother, in view of her age, but the tests show that she is capable of bearing a child. However, she warns them that they will have to take care of her, make sure that she doesn't change her mind after she is carrying the baby, since people who see her may make all kinds of comments and this may affect her mentally. Vasanthi says she will take good care of her mother during these nine months, so the doctor says they can begin the process of artificial insemination shortly.

Sathya is reading something in his bed, and Maha goes by his room. She stops and comes in, inquires about his health and tells him that he was planning to concoct some story out of her life history, after getting it out of her by pretending to be her well wisher, and he has been punished. However, Rathy has a good heart and has brought him here and treated him well. She tells him to change his ways and stop trying to cause problems for Rathy and Shanti Nilayam hospital. After she leaves, he thinks over what she said and decides he has to thank Rathy and do something good for her.

Naren comes to see PK and is furious. PK is a smooth villain, tells him to calm down, take a seat, when he threatened to choke him to death. PK says that if he did that, the wedding will not take place, and in that case, Rathy will be his wife, anyway. Naren explodes, saying Rathy is my wife, and PK reminds him that she is not his wife yet, does he have any proof, did he tie the thali, did they do nalangu, did they do any of the rituals, the reception, so how can he go around saying she is his wife? Pk is a suave villain here, saying they are like two companies, both wanting the same product and promoting the same product. He says that the solution will be to have a merger, and Naren can give up all his rights and bow out of the scene, and he will be compensated accordingly. He wants to know how much money Naren will need to give up his rights to Rathy, and asks him to name a figure, turns around in his swivel chair, while Naren is sitting and fuming away. He turns around to face Naren again, with a smile on his lips.

Wednesday 15th June 2011 Episode - 81

Rathy enters Naren's house - bumps onto him who is leaving for the hospital. She is surprised that he is home. Just leaving he replies, why visiting with the laptop he asks her. Had collected it after servicing. Came to talk to his mother - alone. Anything important he wants to know. Rathy feels that his mother is trying to avoid speaking to Rathy. Must have been busy Naren tries to cover up. Rathy wants to ask for herself. She asks Naren to wait - she will have a word with her and be back. Sivakami (name correctaa) reading a newspaper. Amma calls Rathy. Naren standing out near the other day - so that he is privy to their talks. Sivakami welcomes her cheerfully, then becomes sober. Rathy comes straight to the point (love this with KB serials, no beating around the bush) asks why not cheerful like before for the last few days. Nothing is the reply from Sivakami. Naren's father arrives, tells his wife to tell the truth, ask the doubts. Problems cannot be solved without communication he recommends. Tells of PK's arrival and the story on her dosham filled jathagam. Rathy is surprised / shocked that her jathagam has a dosham. Why should PK interfere in their family matters and cause confusion she laments. idhey vElaiyaapOchchu she adds. The father accepts that he too believed that PK. Both of them are upset with Rathy's mom, for hiding this fact. Could have asked her straight away - Rathy uses her laptop, makes Naren's father see & read the predictions aloud of her "clean" jathagam. All are happy but wonder why PK did that. The parents ask sorry to Rathy. All are cheerful & happy.

Shanthi Nilayam - Allah Ho Akbar Allah BGM - Salima moves her fingers. Wakes up and sits - everything is blurred at first. She is looking around - malanga malanga. A staff nurse sees her, runs to inform the duty doc. A whole battalion of duty doctor, other nurses, ward boys arrive. The duty doctor brings Dr.Rathy Bharathi. Rathy comes in to see Salima sitting with her face buried in her knees. Calls for Salima maa. Salima looks scared. Rathy is very glad, everything will be alright, please speak she asks of Salima. Checks Salima. Keeps saying you are going to be alright. Asks the duty doctor to take care, goes to her room, sheds some tears, looks thankingly at her father's photo. Back to Salima's room, brings a plate of idli for Salima, asks the duty doctor to take care of the reports - the battalion leaves, Rathy begins feeding Salima saying nallaa irukkum, Salima chokes, is fed water- all these years she had been on liquid diet.

Rathy mother is calling for her to have food. From the moment she came she is on the phone talking continuously. Rathi comes out but with the phone, chides her mother talking inbetween when she is on the phone. Rathy can praise her mother's cooking even without eating. All this talk will do, now come and eat says mummy. Rathy gets another call - Dr.Bhaskaran is asked to take care of Salima. Mummy is exasperated that Rathy thinks about SN -24/7. Rathy tells her mother about Salima coming out of Coma after 20 years. The whole hospital is excited. Coming out of coma after 20 years - she is almost like a new born. Mummy listens to it, a changed, worried facial expression. It took so many hours for Salima to regain her memories, has started talking only now very feeble is her voice. Why mummy do you want to see her asks Rathy. No comes the reply from mummy. Rathy in her mind voice tells that mummy will definitely come to know of Salima & her relationship with Dr.Suresh Bharathi one day - should be dealt with carefully, but until then let it remain as it is. Mummy again asks what thoughts - Nothing is the reply - finally Rathy sits to eat. Is served Idli , now mummy thinks how familiar the name Salima is, how can she ever forget that name - the first woman in her husband's life - Now Rathy asks her mother if she is lost in lala land. After serving sambar mummy again lost in thougts. Usually the second woman in a man's life is hated, but she is the second woman in her husband's case. Rathy asks her mother to sit and eat with her.

A Mr.Rajamanickam is welcomed by PK. He wants to know how come a film financier - a director of SN. PK was bored of that profile so has changed it. Mr.Rajamanickam's past pages is brought to the fore. He started as a clerk and now is the Regional Manager. PK wants to know if the majority of SN's dealings with RM's bank. Want any loan asks RM. PK says RM would get a commission if he gets the loan, but wants to play it in a different way. Asks how much has been loaned to SN as of now? Cant say exact amount offhand but somewhere close to Rs.50 crores replies RM. Are they being repaid back on time, lot of commitments,will be dealt soon was the promise CFO Akash made replies RM. PK asks RM to pressurise SN to repay the loan immediately. RM gets a call. PM says must be his wife - RM is bribed by PK with LCD tv as an advance. RM promises to do the needful soon.

Sri Balavinayagar Temple. Maha praying as usual for Salima's recovery. Impressed by her devotion , the priest says her sincere prayers will soon be answered by the Lord. Kai mel palan for his blessings. A hospital staff informs Maha about the miraculous development in Salima's condition. Elated Maha runs to the hospital .Hasina is seated in the bed with a vague expression , an emptiness in her eyes. An emotional Maha stops at the door , longingly looks at Hasina , eager to hug her & express her happiness , but her mind voice cautions her ' Hasina cannot recognize her nor can she introduce herself as Ethiraj's daughter at a time when she is on the road to recovery ,so Maha decides to leave without talking to her & quietly leaves the hospital with teary eyes , much to the astonishment of the staffs.

Vijima's prenatal care segment. Vasanthi wants mom to take complete thru the gestation period rest while Vijima insists on working till the tummy protrudes. Daughter dons the Thayar Swami [ like Thagappan swami] robe and advises the Dos & Don'ts to mom - ear well , sleep well , walk carefully etc etc. The lady doctor drops in for Vijima's regular check up. Viji anxious to know about the happenings in the hospital. No anxieties relax says doctor & the daughter.

Nuisance monger PK engaged in his favourite pastime-irritating Rathi. Calls rathi. Exasperation written largely on her face Rathy shots back asking him to engage in something worthwhile[ Mr. Premkumar , verum Prem anadhin mayam?] & bangs the phone down. Idhukkellam masiyaravara namma Prem , dials again. Rathi answers the call with more harsh words. Am amused Prem asks to lend her ears to his urupidiyana plan- project free medical treatment to downtrodden without financial strain to SN 'How???- simple, follow Robinhood policy ' rob the rich & help the poor. What say? However Rathy not ready to accept may be because PK's brain child , hence vetoes saying not ready to change the existing fee structure. PK asks if she is against the plan as it came from him ? Rathi denies saying will consider any plan which is beneficial to SN without bothering about Nadhimoolam , Rishimoolam. In that case , says PK , why not marry me , it will be very very beneficial to SN. Rathi hits back 'knew very well that you would end up in mental asylum but never thought would happen so soon.PK laughs it off , says he will send the file thru PA.

Knock knock at Rathy's cabin, enters Ezhil , a new Ezhil with drastic change in her nadai udai bhavanai .Flaunts her latest achievements,points out that rathi is not the only pebble on the beach ' poonai kaNNa moodina ulagame asthamikkadhu ' if you chuck me out doesn't mean I will be jobless forever. I have got a stunning offer , one which enables me to spend lot of time in SN. Rathi is perplexed. Ezhil beats around bush , makes excessive fuss , resorts to stupid count downs to ,1/2 ,1/4 much to the chagrin of Rathy, before revealing her new employer's name-[idhu thevaya rathy ,how I wished you told this ezhil to get out & get lost. There are umpteen ways to find ezhil's employer .Can use the services of your in house secret agent-Perumal]. Finally after excessive fuss ezhil tells- employed as personal secretary to PK ' super duper salary , power & position ' further irritates Rathy to the core with her tantrums. Ezhil then takes leave with a final blow & warning to rathy' no longer in your control , free to carry on with my jollu at Dr. Naren , so keep off my personal life . [ Rombathan thuLLaradhu indha ponnu]. Livid Rathi left confused & contemplating.
