Better episode today compared to the rest this week...at least there was some sort of movement...and the execution of scenes was less sloppier too, much better flow and editing. Good to see Roops/Leela...though there wasn't much of an elaborate showing for why and how they're feeling this way, it's still nice to see the writers being consistent and bothering to actually put a scene like this in despite the fact that it is filler...someone be kind and please show Baaji too! Something, anything poignant for and from him at this point in time would be so appreciated.
Really liked the few seconds in the beginning where Nakku remembers Kala's words about Dutta never coming back and 'talks' to her Aai about how her will is breaking...it was such a child thing to do, like a kid who says his mother's name again and again while crying in devastation even though the issue at hand has nothing to do with the mother and she is nowhere to be seen...it was so touching how Nakku was standing there all alone and her agony and sorrow is directed towards her mother, the one who was always her source of strength...almost as if she is complaining and sharing her pain to seek the reassurance that only a mother can give...yet Baabi isn't there and all Nakku can do is take her name in the gloomiest hour of suffering...
The most difficult thing to watch was Seema resting her head on Dutta's arm in relief when Chaskar finally leaves 😒 She totally had a 'moment' there...a moment in which she's looking at Dutta and sort of taking him in, taking comfort from him...urgh. Dunno why they have to waste soooo much time showing the doctor going round and round with the bandage on Dutta's head...such a waste...bad direction and editing when it comes to ordinary, routine stuff like this...these LTL people haven't heard of fast forwarding and cutting clips at quick intervals to show an 'overview' of a something commonplace and mundane happening, kya?
What else...Dutta's nightmare was nicely edited with the flashbacks and how they built up to jolt him awake. Did anyone notice that he was sleeping in pink sheets? 😆 So random. And the new brocade-type, silky kurta he's wearing is so ugly! No surprise that there's only tacky and tasteless stuff like this at Seema's place though. No idea what in the world they were trying to show with the blood/maang scene either...especially when later in the same episode Nakku is shown to be keeping a fast for Dutta as his rightful wife with blessing from the pandit and God too apparently. Can't imagine why they would put something like this in unless Seema is going to take it as a 'sign'...which she really doesn't need anyways, because she's deluding herself into believing already that Dutta will forgive her and she'll become 'Seema' again She says she's gotten a chance to 'repent' and that's all she wants to do but what she's really so obviously expecting is to have a happy ending with him...yeah right, because Dutta toh has been waiting in the same exact state for you for all of these seven/ten years, na?
Next week should be better...hopefully finally with Dutta gaining consciousness once and for all...
