Nakusha got up..covered with sweat..after regaining herself she looked around not recognising where she was..Suddenly the door open and she saw a young girl maybe around 22.or 23 looking at her with expressionless eyes'then suddenly that young smiled and naku could not help being startled at the change made in the girl face..it was as if suddenly her face had become so warm n friendly and just looking at her made naku forget all her troubles and smile back at her.

The girl was wearing a tight blue shirt and capris..carrying a tray of sandwhich and a glass of juice..she came to the bed and placed it in the side..looking at naku she asked her how are you feeling now..my friend atharva had found you and bought you here'you were not well so we took care of you'don't worry about ur other friend..baji is it..we took him to the hospital..he will be alright..afterwards you can tell me who your family is and take you to them..oh sorry I didn't introduce myself..my name is madhu..and you are

Naku could only look at the girl who spoke so much without any breather..she smiled and said my name is naku'and thinking of her saab she looked at madhu and said I have no one..madhu looked at her and said looks like we both have something in common

Naku looked at her confused..even I don't have any family..my only family is atharva who is like my bestfriend/protector..well if u don't have anyone you can stay with me as you will notice there is rarely any girls here so you can give me company..again she flashes naku a smile..showing off a dimple..naku could not help smiling back at her..then suddenly madhu stretched her hand towards naku and said friends..naku smiled back and placed her hand in madhu's and replied friends..

Madhu then told naku to have something and rest..and she went out of the room..the smile on her face just wiped out and her usual blank expression came back and she headed towards her room..the guards in the hallway bend their heads greeting her..she went to her room and closed the door..locking the door..she opened her wardrobe..in the first look it was a wardrobe but on opening it you could see small room..she entered the room and came to the place where her father's portrait was hanging..incense was burning in the room bringing a tranquil feeling in the room

She looked at her father photo and smiled sarcastically..and said looks like my brother has a tendency of always believing the wrong and throwing away the right..but don't worry dad I am there na till he comes back to his senses I will take care of my vaheni..after all soon I have to make an entry in his life..isnt that so..what about that other boy..a deep masculine voice came from behind her..she turned around and came face to face with her best friend atharva.(imagine avdesh singh thakur of GKD).and in other words her right hand man'

The car stopped in front of morey and his men'atharva got out of the car..his eyes landed on nakusha trembling over there..he looked at morey..and told him let the girl go..morey looked at him with all the arrogance and said if not what will you do..atharva turned towards the car..and looked at madhu sitting there..she gave him a nod..which meant to go ahead

He and his men drew out their swords..and without a word just pounced on the men and killed each and everyone of them..after he finished killing them he went near the car and opened the door for madhu to come out..she came out dressed completely in black..on looking at her till now atharva could not understand how she could always carry an aura of darkness around her' walked towards nakusha..and looked at her..she turned to atharva and told him we will take her home..tell ur men to take baji to the hospital ..saying so she went back in the car.

Atharva gently lifted nakusha in his arms and placed her in the car..and drove off leaving the dead bodies to be found

Atharva is the only person madhu has come to trust after her father..he was her father's protge..the one who helped her in taking over the business..being a girl people had a hard time believing that she was capable of doing anything but what they didn't know if her father or even atharva were in the forefront of the work..she was the brain..it was only due to her smartness..that till now no one could suspect them..damodar had died and had given some property to his son..but hers and atharva share he could not give because it is what they have earned...everyone outside believes atharva to be the leader and madhu just his best friend but only madhu and atharva know who is the leader and who is the best friend .

Atharva was know an bhaiyaji in the underworld'one of fiercest men..dutta and atharva have never crossed parts..they never had too as they co existed very well..but madhu knew soon they would have too.

Atharva looked at madhu and said what about the boy we took the hospital'madhu looked at him and said what about him..he will heal..if I understood baji I know he will be alright soon..he is strong..he will never give up and AS is there..she will see that baji is bought back home..whether dutta likes it or not'

Atharva went towards madhu and hugged her from the back..giving her the comfort he knew she needs whenever she talks about her father and brother..for atharva madhu was always a strong girl..no girl could remain safe in the business they did..in early age she learned to take care of her self..he still remembered how he and madhu became friends..he being an orphan was always teased in the orphanage..as he was fifteen and yet no one adopted him..as all wanted small children..and he was too grown up'one day he saw 3 boys of his age holding down a girl of about 7 years..he could still remember the shock he had when he had seen the little spitfire..she was moving so frantically trying to free herself..he rushed towards them and boxed one of the guy..while other two let go of ganged up on him..before he could hit back 'one of his assailants suddenly screamed grabbing his knee..on looking up atharva saw a little madhu holding a metal bar..looking at one of the friend on the ground the other two ran from there.

Atharva and madhu looked at each other while madhu smiled at him..her front two teeth missing and atharva could not help smiling back..suddenly he saw a man running towards them..he bent own and hugged the little girl and asked her whether she was alright she told yes daddy I am fine..this boy saved me from those bullys..he banged one of them with the rod and the other two ran away..atharva looked at the little girl in shock..what is she telling her dad when she saved herself..the father looked at him and said thank u soo much son for saving my daughter..madhu just looked at him and smiled'where do you stay..sir I stay in the orphanage .. I have no one'are you all alone little madhu asked him..atharva lookes at her and said yes..madhu looked at her father..daddy can he stay with us..he will be my bestest friend..damodar looked at his daughter and then looked at atharva..he asked him would you like to stay with us..you could take care of my madhu'atharva agreed..knowing finally he will have someone of his own..as he went to follow damodar..he fet a small hand enclosing his hand..and looked down at madhu smiling her toothless smile at him..holding his hand..and she told him ..i will give u a pinky promise u will never be alone

And now 15 years later madhu has never backed out from her promise and she was always with him..and now holding her in his arms he silently promised that he will always be with her as long as he lives..
