Does Riddhima have any self respct? 10/11 epi

but remember ridz is shashank's daughter and has had a very strict upbringing. with no one to support her at all emotionally dont know where her parents and sis disappeared to and we know what shashank's advice is in this matter! i think she is sticking onto her farz coz she feels that is what she is supposed to do! She lacks the guts to go with armaan. its a little unrealistic considering she is educated and its 21st century! neverthless in a country like india so many women do stay in unhappy loveless marriages just coz they are married and they dont want a divorce! even in this forum there are some people who are voicing their opinion that ridzie shud stay with Sid coz of the marriage bonds isn't it? Despite the fact that she does not love him knowing this we get such comments! So what of outside world? Not everyone wants to live and let live I guess!

Riddhima has truly lost her marbles! What is wrong with her (or rather the writers), have they forgotten the little soliloquy of her's last week where she promised herself to find her own identity and not be recognised as Shashank Gupta's daughter or Siddanth Modi's wife but to be known as Riddhima Gupta with no relationship strings attached.

I agree with your post. Ridhima needs to learn to stand up for herself (I've been saying this for quite some time now but it seems that the character is just not as strong as it looks).She is definitely ruining 3 lives and she needs to understand the importance of marriage and how much responsibility there is.

However, I do disagree with your first negative point a little. Although I am tired of watching the same repetitive scenes again and again, one positive thing about it is that no matter how many times Armaan and Ridhima bid farewell to each other, they will always end up coming back together. With each goodbye, their relationship is getting stronger. But yeah, it is getting boring watching the same scenes although they are very touching.
