Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena may have fizzled out at the box office, but the film is making Koena Mitra's career sizzle.

Apart from Sangeeth Sivan's Money Money Money, the actress is in talks with E Niwas for his next film, tentatively titled Jalsa. Talks are also on with Riteish Deshmukh, Amrita Rao and another male star to be part of the cast.

Says E Niwas, "It's true that I have approached Koena to play a role in my next film, but Jalsa is still in the scripting stage, and will start only after I complete Anthony Gonsalves. Jalsa will be a breezy entertainer."

The film is about two girls and two boys. Says Koena, "It's a comedy, and my character is paired opposite both boys. She has many shades to her character. I can't say much, as we will be having a detailed script narration soon."

Koena is also doing Sangeeth Sivan's romantic entertainer, Money Money Money, produced by Subhash Ghai.

"I play a wannabe singer, who wants to cut her own album." Koena is paired with Riteish; Jackie Shroff, Celina Jaitley and Riya Sen also star in the film, and in the climax, it turns out that everybody is running after money!

Not just glam parts

The actress very happy with the response to Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. "Today, I am getting substantial roles - not just offers to play a glam doll." Koena recently acted as judge in the Mrs India contest, held by Gladrags.

"It was an emotional decision for me, when Maureen (Wadia) asked me to be a judge as I had been a Gladrags supermodel winner in 2002. It was she who selected me from 100 contestants in Kolkata and introduced me to Mumbai. It was exciting for me to go back and be a judge at a Gladrags event . Maureen is a very special person in my life."
