Idk about the US, but it's damn tough here in India. I have some friends who actually dropped CA and switched to either eco honours or B.Com. you just need an average of 90% in science and maths to get into a good engineering college, while the cut off for commerce is as high as 98% 😲 - it's madness, I tell you. freakin rat race in the name of education.

OKAAAAY. I'm so scared now. I think I'll end up in like... social sciences. ): That seems easier to get into atm.

okay, on the brighter side, CA is like the ultimate profession for all commerce folks. it's equivalent to a MTech/BTech for science people. like seert said, it pays really well, and you're basically set for life. but getting there is like walking on burning coal. BUT, good luck if that's what you want to do :)
I'm a commerce student, and no way in hell am I doing CA. spare me the horror.

Jaan: Lol ya you and ur offices man. you can never be bored. But seriously man get a safer and more normal job.

Aditi: I did computers so in some classes I'd be the only girl, and ya glad I pulled through and now its Masters :|
MUCH harder. Undergrad seems like a breeze now.

Oh well I guess its different for each person but lol I don't know it doesn't seem that bad to me. But hey work hard and you'll get in. Uoft's is also good and well UofT is known throughout the world so even better. But if u get in, be prepared t befriend loads of Koreans.

Neetz: I know man, it seems like ur wasting ur life away. And I'm sorta a control freak so I hate being told what to do. I like to do my own thing and be my own boss. And ya it's different here I guess for all this. But Aditi was talking abt BComm, and then to do a CA, you need to do extra trainings and tests...much harder for that.
Okay well engineering depends on the university. Like they all have different acceptance rates and standards.

@Roz, LOL CA = Chartered Accountant. It can stand for Canada too in some context. 😆

@Jaan :O You're done college. So lucky. ): I'm almost there. I'm just waiting for the day I get accepted and I can chill. Right now... I'm stressed.

Jaan: Ya man, me and Aditi are the cool ones here. Don't be jealous of us, eh.
