LOL Melu ... Mehrunisa nothing against the name no offense to it... but because of that name😆😕😆 mujhe kaafi sehna aur sun'na pada hai....well I had a girl in my class with the same name... And because of her this teacher of mine used to get confused and used to call me Zebunissa. 'Mehrunissa and Zebunissa' stop talking🤣 *nostalgic muh*

Khair this is chalo atleast nearer to my name starts with Z ... another teacher of mine used to call me Mariam... he had identical twin nieces jin kay naam Zainab aur Maryam thay he used to go same thing o_O.. so that was another thing ppl randomly teased me by😆 Much later in uni this class fellow of mine accidentally and very confidently called me Mariam ghalti se but then on he stuck to Mariam😆...

Ooooh your real name was taken from some Persian book.. I always meant to ask you what it meant.. Its not a very common name... heard it pehli baar.. But its a very nice name! :-)

So were you born in Canada then? Or were you born in India, lived in Canada for a few years and then went back to India?

LOL you know I never faced the problem of goras trying to change my name.....they mess it up a bit but nobody ever suggested to me if they could use some alternative name for me....lol....if they struggle with my full name, I tell them to just use Anu....and even the worst of them manage to pronounce atleast that much....although they pronounce it "uh-new" instead of "uh-nu"....lol.....ahh the joys of living in a country other than your own :P

@Anu....yeah, that's the funda😆. Melissa is a nickname by friends. Unfortunately, no one could find a short name from my real one, so then they landed to this entirely different nickname......lol. Melissa was initially a 'teasing' factor for me. The role-playing that I was talking about na, it was actually about a farmer and his wife and farm animals or sth🤣. Miss chose this guy as a farmer and then he chose me as his wife😡🤣🤣🤣🤣, and to wipe the smirks off the faces of my friends, I chose them as animals😳😆. And then the teasing about me and that guy began, with me being 'Melissa'. Anyway, like I said, they adopted the habit of calling me Melissa and I was okay with the nickname. What annoyed me was everyone trying to call me Melissa.....it was a thing between me and just my friends!!!! *hmph*

Lol@people calling you 'uh-new'. Uh-new reminds me, my nephew, who is just one and half years old, is in the phase were he is learning some words properly and inventing some words by himself. For the past 4 weeks, I guess, he has been chanting 'a-new' and I was like 'what? anu? who anu?'.....and he is all 'a-new'😆. Wonder from were he got the name.

See....you have it all figured out (Anu is very ishmart, Zainu di😉). Did I never mention this in the CC before? Or was it in MJHT forum that I gave this info? or maybe the roadies CC.....hmmmm.....I guess I mentioned it to Nimrah once (not sure though). Anyway, I was born in Canada, and was there for like 13 or 14 years. Since I had a very pale skin and brown hair......people used to think I was half-Canadian....lol. That further made my name a subject to Canadian twisting🤣. After shifting here, my hair color improved....it got darker....and I am still fair, but just not pale white. My cousins, who are still in Canada, are still fairer than me. I guess it just has something to do with Canadian breeze :P

Awww.....you are finding Accounting torturous? I swore to stay away from that subject after giving my O'Level. I hated accounting. Such a torturous subject indeed. I just didn't have the brain to understand this subject. And it's got nothing to do with Maths, because I was excellent in Math *proud muh*😆. I loved Economics during my O'Levels. My favorite subject really. Started hating it when A'Levels started. And still feel the same about it in uni. It's so difficult. The LRADC, LRASC curve related with Monopoly, Oligopoly, Monopolistic Competition, etc etc are just impossible for me to understand.

@Zainu di......LMAO!!!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 What sort of teacher did you get? They messed up your name like that?! That never happened to me in Canada at least. They twisted my name in their own way, but didn't mess it up to that extent. Well, except for this one teacher who called me by my second name and pronunced it as 'Say-rah'😆. Don't know why, but I am loving Zebunissa🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
