The inner turmoil of Maan Singh Khurana

Hello Maaneetian!! I wanted to give my take on August 24th episode.

First of all what a phenomenal episode!! It was much needed. It was a very important episode to the entire plot. The whole thing was very good and it moved the story forward. The acting by Drashti and Gurmeet was superb. 👏

So it began with where left off yesterday. Pari asks Maan where did you two go last night? He answers "Trust me, aisi jaga gaya tha jahna pe kisi ko bardasht karna mushkil hogaya tha meri liye". Here you can see the clear pain he is feeling. With this line he is basically saying he could not take what Geet had told him. His anger is brewing to the surface. Then he tells Geet that he doesn't remember what happened last night. This is him trying to avoid his rejection. He cannot face her if he acts as if he remembers. Its typical Maan Singh Khurana trying to bury the pain deeper instead of letting it out.

Pari has finally begun doing the job that she was brought to do. She knows that there is something between Maan and Geet. I wonder what she will do.

The Dev and Naintara scene was good too. It was visible on NT face that she may believe that she was hallucinating Geet. Her psychopathic behavior kind of scares me. 😕

Now with Maan and his turmoil. He is at the point where he just cannot take Geet's rejection. The way he wipes the lipstick off his cheek, the way he talks to himself with so much anger is an indication of him returning to his old self. Yet I don't think thats possible. Geet has changed him and his feeling won't go away. Gurmeet did an amzaing job with the protaryal of Maan's emotions.

My most favorite part of the episode was the attic. WOW!!! I loved the way they depicted the room. This room is an obvious symbol to Maan's past and state of mind. It was dark, silent and difficult to navigate , just like the man himself. The setting shows why Maan Singh Khurana is the way he is. The CV's have done an amazing job. The dialogue's were great in this scene. I didn't expect a glimpse into the mind of MSK, but they totally surprised me with it. He went to bury the taveez along with all his other painful memories. But he doesn't understand that even if he keeps the thing that reminds of him of Geet away, he will never be able to keep her out of his heart. We have seen this before, when she "quit" the job.

Today's episode has brought the story forward. Maan has decided to let Geet go. I'm wondering if this is his next plan to make her admit her feeling, or is this him trying to just get away form her. Though I have a feeling this will bring her closer to him unintentionally. What will she do? No matter what it is, it will bring her closer to meeting Dev. I feel like something big will happen by this Friday. I also forgot about the promo where Maan forces Geet to be his fiance. How will that come about? This will be the next turn in the plot. can't wait to see to see tomorrow's episode.

Oh one more thing, do you guys see the connection between Geet being Maan's fake fiance and her fake marriage to Dev? Well, Dev has betrayed her with the fake marriage. Maan here, is directly telling her you have to be my "fake" fiance. I think he will eventually turn her into his real fiance. The Cv's are trying to distinguish Maan and Dev. One brother ruins Geet's life, while the other puts it back together. This is a pivotal point to the story. I want to elaborate on this, but I don't know how to put it in words. Do you guys get what I'm saying?

The attic room scene of Maan's past was a charm in todays episode. There was a beauty to it that kind of just brought things together. It showed that there is sadness in Maan. There is anger in Maan. And the hope that was there has gone down to the point that he needs the room to recollect himself and what has happened in the past. And in a way its becoming what will guide him into the future.

And I agree with your description of Naintara's psychopathic behavior. You can really tell that she thought she was losing it.

it is very symbolic....wen dev did a fake marriage with geet she was under the illusion that it was real and therefore had a lot of dreams and expectations from dev....but eventually all was shattered and she was left to fight her own battle....
but now wen maan will ask her to be her fake fiance...she will know from the very start that it is all a game and therefore she will not hv any expectations from maan....but again she will be proved wrong and maan will actually get engaged to her....
the story has been so well laid....kudos to the writers....

and u rightly said that the condition of the room so well reflects the person maan himself....his inner self is as much a mystery as the room itself....
but this too is quite symbolic that geet entered the room which she cud see is maan's private domain....she cud get out at once for reasons like fear of darkness or for fear of invading maan's privacy....but she moved on because she was desperate to find maan....it means she will be one to unravel the mysteries of maan's inner turmoil....she will widout any hesitation enter into maan's life....

today's episode has given a unique feeling....firstly a feeling of pain that maan is already deep into a ocean of agony and as his only saviour he wants to clutch on to geet and now he feels geet is slipping away too....at the same time this epi has given a feeling of new hope....by now he shud guess that geet is surely in love with him but there must be some strong reason for refusing him....he shud now stop playing games to get her confession....he shud give some time and space to analyse wat she actually wants to do...whether she wants to stay with her love and thereby share watever past she has or whether she wants to leave maan....
and i think maan will do exactly that....only wen geet will see that she is actually losing maan....will she realise how much he means to her...only then she will be so desperate that she will be bound to tell her past to give maan a chance to prove his love....

hope geet knows about maan's past and know how much alone and hurt he is and care for him more and love him more

Very well said. It will be Geet who will unravel Maan's past. I noticed too that, Geet had entered to the room searching for him, symbolically searching for the Maan that is buried deep inside. She gets to see a glimpse too, which is the picture of him smiling and the cycle. Geet has always been the one to open his heart. Soon she will get to see everything that is in it.

he, that's a beautiful point you made - one brother gives her a "fake" marriage and the other brother offers her a "fake" engagement ...but the two give her completely different things...the first gave her sorrow, the other will, at the end, certainly, give her happiness ... beautiful thought !👍🏼
