Saachi was hit by her words.

Tara:Mujhe to laga that um bholi ho isliye tum shravan se door rahogi,apne promises nibhaogi?Lekin itne bade ghar ke ladke se shaadi ho to kaun nahi phasana chahega?[I thought you'ld be true to your promises going by the type of moral girl you seemed.. But it's always about the money,you see a rich man and how could you not fall for a rich man?Isn't it Saachi?]

Saachi was flabbergasted.

Saachi:Nahi Tara mere aur Shravan ke beech kuch nahi hai..infact wo to sirf aapke bare mein he sochte hai..kaise aapko khush rakhe,aapko kya accha lagta hai.Mujhse to who nafrat karte hai..main sirf ek musibat hoon Shravan ke liye aur Tara aap is shak ki wajah se apne rishte mein darar mat daliye..main apke aage hath jodti hoon Shravan toot jayega Tara.[Tara,no..it's not like that. There's nothing going on between us,infact he's crazy about you..he always talks about you,your happiness..you are in his heart. Tara nodded.

Tara:theek hai to tum mujhse vaada karo ki tum Shravan ko apne aap se door karogi..apne liye uske dil mein nafrat jagao..prove karo mujhe kit um sach bol rahi ho.Shravan ko lagta hai ki tum Rohit ki taraf attracted ho,iss baat ko sach sabit karo.[fine..promise me then..promise me that you'll try your best to stay away from him,you'll make him hate you..prove to me that you are telling the truth about yourself and Shravan. Shravan thinks you are attracted towards Rohit,show him that he's right.]

Saachi went numb.She couldn't believe what she had heard..her head was bursting with pain and helplessness and heart sent heat waves all over her body,

Saachi couldn't cry..she was too shocked to react.She turned around and walked blankly on the road..Ya rabba played in the background.

Shravan had already returned.

Shravan saw her walking blankly.

Shravan called her but she didn't hear him..the emotional pressure was taking it's control.

Tears were flowing down her eyes..first Tara's words and then Shravan questioning her character..two blows at once were too much for the already hurt Saachi.

Shravan mellowed wen he saw her crying,he couldn't see her cry..she was devastated..his heart pained to see her like that…to see her in pain,he felt the same burning pain in his insides..as if his heart was bleeding…

Shravan shaking her by the shoulder(feeling a big thump in his heart..scared for her),"Saachi kya hua?Tum ro kyu rahi ho?"[Saachi,what happened?Why are you crying?]

Saachi didn't react.But when he shaked her even more she looked at him.

Her eyes were questioning him.

He looked at them."Saachi sab theek to hai..tum aise…..kya ho gaya?"[Saachi,is everything ok?You look..what's wrong Saachi?]

Saachi spoke.."kya boloon Shravan..aapse kya boloon? Kis kis se kya bolon main? Jab mere apne pati ne he mere bare mein itni ghatia baatein ki hai,Shravan aapne aaj mujhe tod diya……..pehle contract marriage,phir mujhse nafrat..aur ab mere aur Rohit k rishte par itna ganda ilzaam……sab seh leti main…..lekin ab mujhse aur bardaash nahi hota…..aapne mere bare mein itna kuch keh diya,kabhi yeh poocha 'ki Saachi tum kyu ro rahi thi?'…ek baar poochte to sahi Shravan……main aapko batati ki mere aur Rohit k beech mein kuch nahi hai,wo sirf mera acha dost hai….lekin usne wo padh liya jo aapne kabhi nahi pada..lekin mujhe is baat se koi shikayat nahi hai……kyunki main janti hoon kissi se pyaar karna kaisa hota hai? Kis hak se aapne mujh par ye ilzaam lagaye?Yeh to sirf ek contract marriage hai Shravan..phir main kahi bhi jao usse aapko kya pharak padta hai?Apko kya pharak padta hai Rohit ko mere saath dekhkar? Aap kissi acche ladke se meri shaadi karwana chahte the na,to ab kya hua? Shravan's head was racing with thoughts..and he felt hollow.....he felt sad at not understanding Saachi.His own words sounded low now..he never treated her with as much respect as she did..she always helped him and stood up with him……she cared for him even when she was angry and the endless things she did for him.The passion he felt when he touched her,how he couldn't see her sad .He couldn't see her lonely..the pain had always been there,now he could see Saachi's pain……the way she pushed him towards Tara without even sparing one thought for herself.How her pain had become his and he had been ignoring it..

Shravan:Saachi,sorry baohut chota shabd hai..magar ho sake to………mujhe maaf kardo……mujhe sharam aati hai ki maine itni ghatia baat keh di,mujhe pata nahi kya ho gaya tha…..mere man mein aag lag jati hai jab main tum dono ko saath dekhta hoon to…..mujhe bardaash nahi hota agar wo tumhare saath hasta hai..isiliya gusse mein aakar maine wo sab keh diya. Magar aisi kya baat hai Saachi?Kaunsa dard hai jo tumse bardaash nahi ho raha? Mujhe batao Saachi..[Saachi..sorry isn't a word enough to express my feelings,my guilt..but if….if it's possible……please forgive me.I feel shallow..how could I question your character..I don't know what had happened to me then……I just felt so horribly angry….I felt a fire inside me when I saw you with Rohit…..I couldn't tolerate it when he laughed with you…..but whatever the reason,it's my fault…..I'm sorry.But I want to know what's troubling you..what is the reason for your sadness..tell me,I want to know]

Saachi:Kya pharak padta hai,aapka mujhse koi rishta he nahi to ye sb batane ka kya phayda,main ab toot gayi hoon Shravan…….kab tak ye dard main dil me rakhu,kyu aap har baar mere liye ek nayi mushily khadi kar dete hain?…..aapko kya pharak padta hai main kaise jeeti hoon..hum sirf ek contract mein bandh hai aur zyada kuch nahi hai..aap mujhse nafrat karte hai aur main(she remembered Tara's words..she had to make him hate her)….main bhi aapse utni he nafrat karti hoon.(she said closing her eyes,her back to Shravan)

[what difference does it make Shravan,why should I tell you anything? There's nothing between us..but I just wonder…..how much longer will this pain stay with me..why do you always confuse me? This is just a contract and nothing else..then why do you care about me? You hate me…and the..the feeling is mutual.]

Saachi:Aap mere kuch nahi lagte aur ……aur Rohit mera sabse accha dost hai wo mujhe samajhta hai jo aap kabhi nahi kar sake,usne mere character k bare mein aise baatein aaj tak nahi kari…….uss din aapne mera bharosa tod diya,mujhe laga ki aap jaise marzi se hi lekin kisi ladki k bare mein aise baatein……Shravan,aapne mere character par itna ganda ilzaam lagaya?Aap to saara din Tara k saath rehte hai,maine kabhi aise baatein ki?Kabhi kaha ki aap acche pati nahi?Phir itna ganda ilzaam kyu?[You don't mean anything to me and….Rohit is my best friend….he understands me,he has never questioned my character…you've broken my trust..I never thought you could stoop so low and insult a girl like that…how could you? She said with a heavy burden in her chest.

Tears were strolling down her eyes.

Shravan couldn't bear,the last words made him angry.

Not because she said something about Tara but because he couldn't bear to see Saachi the same way with Rohit.

Shravan(angrily):Shut-up! Meri aur Tara ki alag baat hai..tum apni limits cross kar rahi ho?[shut-up! Our's is a different matter..you are crossing your limit]

Saachi:Main apni limits cross kar rahi hoon?Aapne to saari limits wahi cross kardi thi jis din aapne wo sab kaha tha. Aap itna chota soch sakte hai,main soch bhi nahi sakti.Aap meri nazron mein gir gaye,sab khatam kar diya aapne Shravan.[I'm crossing my limits? You had crossed all limits the day you had said those insulting words to me! How could you think so low about me?..you've destroyed everything Shravan…]

She said with anger and disgust.

Shravan felt a pain,the one that shattered the heart and made it bleed.

Nothing had hurt him so much in his life..except for Saachi's words. A part of him didn't want to believe her words……….

Shravan sat down in shock,his eyes were getting red.

Saachi looked at him and she couldn't bear to see him so shaken(her heart pounding fiercly)..she took a step forward but Tara's promise stopped her.

Shravan was deeply broken..the same pain Saachi was feeling for the past 5 months..Shravan could feel it now.It felt as if someone was choking him.. a heavy weight was crushing his chest……

Shravan walked out blankly this time.He went to a bar.

"Kuch khwab dekhe hain,kuch rang soche hai ab maine kal pane tere sang soche hai(Shravan remembering how he felt when he saw Saachi with Rohit..)

..iss rah mein jab bhi tu saath hoti hai(remembering how she stood by him,how she helps him..how he could always talk to her]kisso k panno se hi har baat hoti hai(Remembering how it felt to be around her)..roor jo hui meri fida to pal mein uthi koi sada(Shravan accusing Saachi..loosing his temper)..k dil se hua juda juda…..toota mein is tara(This pain was killing him..she hated him….his head was pounding with heaviness…his eyes were moist with tears) sadka kiya yun ishq ka, k sar jhuka jahan ,deedar

Tere mudne se suraj mud gaya(Saachi felt disgusted at what she just said,Shravan was her life..He had said too much that day,but he was sorry..and she had forgiven him long ago..because her love was greater than her pride..she felt shallow now..hot tears were rolling down her cheeks..she fell down shattered..feeling congested),tere roshni k saaye main dhoop se khili(remembering how he fed her,danced with her on the date)

Mera aasma bhi chota pad gaya, mujhe jab se hai baahon mein teri panah mili(Saachi remembered their embrace on the honeymoon)

Wo tehri teri ada ada(remembering how she used to make faces when she was upset),k rook bhi gaya mera khuda k rook bhi gaya mera khuda(remembering their patch up in the kitchen and the way she had faith in God)

Sadka kiya yun ishq ka(Saach stood up,worried about Shravan)),k sar jhuka jahan, deedar hua(She ran outside on the road as fast as she could)

Teri khushboo mein likhe khat mile(Saachi remembering their anniversary gift,his flirtatious smile),teri rang k siyahi se likhe padhe sune(Shravan admiring her simplicity)

Teri baton k wo saare silsile meri dil ki kahani se sune kahe bune(shravan eating the green chillie,calling her to check if she had her medicines,rubbing balm on her leg while looking in a different direction)

Main kar na sakoo baya baya (shravan breaking down and brushing his hand in his hair)

K chup se hui meri zuban ye dil hua mehman is tarah(remembering how she danced with Rohit,how he never understood her)

Sadka kiya yun ishq ka,k sar jhuka jahan deedar hua

She stopped at the bar's entrance and called Viren.

Viren:Kya hua saachi?[Is something wrong Saachi?]

Saachi:Viren,Shravan wo unhe aapki zaroorat hai..mujhe dar hai wo apne aap ko nuksaan na pahucha le,please jaldi aa jayeyi….unhe samhaal lijiye please Viren.[Viren,Shravan needs you right now..I am scared,he might hurt himself..please,come here as fast as you can..please just help him]

She crying horribly and gave Viren the bar's address.

Viren rushed to the bar and saw Saachi standing outside.

Saachi:Viren please Shravan ka dhyan rakhna,wo baohut toot gaye hai..unke saath rehna……please viren.[Viren,please take care of him..he's shaken….be there for him…please Viren.]

Viren saw Saachi's condition and rushed inside.Shravan was drinking angrily.

Meanwhile at the house..

Nidhi was searching for a particular medicine and she couldn't find it so she looked into Saachi's drawers and found a document..it was the contract marriage document.

She was shocked as hell when she saw it.

Meanwhile at the bar..

Shravan:Arre Viren beth mere dost..beth.[Viren,my dear friend…sit with me]

Viren:Shravan ghar chal tune kuch zyada he pi li hai..chal uth..[Shravan,let's go home..you've had too much]

Shravan:Arre nahi yaar..ghar par Saachi hai na..wo mujhse nafrat karti hai to agar main uske saamne jaunga to wo phir se rooth jayegi..pata nahi mujhe yaha(pointing to his heart) itna dard kyu ho raha hai..wo kehti hai uske jaane se kya pharak padta hai?Par yaha dard hota hai jab mein sunta hoon…….marne se bhi bura dard,…..aisa lagta hai jaise dil ne dhadkna he band kar diya…itna dard hota hai ki apne aap dard dene se bhi door nahi hota..[Home..no….Saachi's at home…..and she hates me….so if I go infront of her,she will get upset..I don't know why(pointing to his heart) but it pains a lot…she asked me would Icare if she leaves? But it pains a lot when I hear this….worse than being dead….It feels as if the heart has stopped beating…..so much pain…that even if I hurt myself physically,I can't feel it..I could feel just the pain in my heart..]

Viren:Shravan ye..ye tu kya keh raha hai…..tujhe Saachi se pyaar to nahi ho gaya? PAgle tu itne din Tara k peeche bhagta raha hai lekin ye bhi nahi janta kit u Saachi se pyaar karne laga hai..yehi to pyaar hai…..[Shrvan,what are you saying? I tink you are in love with Saachi,are you not? Silly boy,you've been chasing Tara for so many days when your true love has always been Saachi..Shravan this is love..]

Shravan rolled his eyes and blinked five times.

Shravan:Main..Saachi se …ph…ph……pyaar kane laga hoon?Pyaar mein itna dard hota hai?[I..Saachi…I love..love Saachi? Does being in love hurt so much?]

Viren smiled.

Shravan:Saachi ko bhi baohut dard hota hai..usse bhi pyaar ho gaya hai?[Saachi's also hurt..is she in love too?]

Viren wanted to laugh at his silly drunken jokes.

Viren:Haan..shayad.Waise wo jis tarah se tera dyan rakhti hai usse to yehi lagta hai ki wo tujhse baohut pyaar karti hai..[yeah..may be. The way she cares for you,the way she looks at you..I think she loves you…..]

Shravan smiled.

Shravan:Haan yaar,wo bilkul meri biwi ki tarah mera dhyan rakhti hai. [Yeah dude,she takes care of me just like a loving wife and fights with me like a wife!](funnily saying while holding the bottle)

Viren called Saachi inside.

Saachi saw him crying and laughing and drinking.

Saachi(strictly):Shravan bas ho gaya,ghar chaliye.[Shravan,that's enough.Let's go home]

Shravan looked at her lovingly in his drunken state.

Shravan:Nahi..main nai jaunga,pata hai Viren kehta hai mujhe tumse pyaar ho gaya hai aur tumhe bhi.[Nope! I won't go anywhere..Viren,here says that I'm in love with you and you are in love with me](not being able to stand properly)

Saachi stopped and stared.

Saachi:Uthiye Shravan,apne baohut pi li hai..[Shravan,get up..you've had too much]

Shravan:Pehle tum batao tumhe dard isiliye hota hai na kyunki tumhe mujhse pyaar hai?[No,first you tell me..you're hurt by my words because you love me? It pains because you love me?]

Saachi was more concerned now..he had taken in too much.

Shravan:Saachi bolona..[Tell me Saachi..]

Viren and Saachi carried him to the car and shravan fell asleep on her shoulder.

It tinkled her..she put a loving hand on his face.

She and Viren supported him till the bedroom and Saachi removed his shoes and socks.

She was removing his watch when he held her hand and fell asleep.

"I love you Saachi,mujhe chodkar mat jaana."[I love you Saachi,please don't ever leave me]He murmured.She stared,her heart stopped..all her love for him rushed to every part of her heart.

Saachi tried to get out of his grip but couldn't.She sat beside him and waited for his grip to loosen but she fell asleep.

Shravan woke up with a terrible headache..and saw Saachi sitting beside him and he was holding her hand.He was blank about the last night .Feeling her close made him happy..passionate once again.

Shravan did remember her saying she hated him.

Shravan walked almost with his eyes closed till the door and dropped the clock.

Saachi woke up from the noise and saw him holding his head.

She helped him to bed.

His head was pounding.

Saachi ran to get him coffee.

He drank it and felt better.

Saachi:Shravan ab kaisa lag raha hai?[Shravan,how are you feeling now?]

Shravan[grunting and rolling eyes]:Tumhe kya pharak padta hai?[Why do you care?]

Saachi[getting cutely annoyed]:Shravan,please ek to aap baccho jaise harkate karte hai upar se mujh par gussa hote rehte hai..kisne kaha tha bar main jakar itna peene k liye,agar gussa aa raha tha to mujh par utar te..itna peene ki kya zaroorat thi?[Shravan,please..first you behave like a 2 year old and then you get upset over me? There was no need to go to the bar and drink so much,if you were angry with me..you should've let it out on me..why did you drink so much?]

Shravan[cutely annoyed]:Tumne mujhe gussa dilaya tha..aur ab bhi jhagad rahi ho.[You made me angry..and even right now you're fighting with me]

They were fighting like kids,trying to put the blame on each other.

Saachi observed her hyperanger and said,"Shravan theek hai..I'm sorry.Maine kuch zyada he bol diya tha..lekin aap bhi har baar mujhe musibat kehte rehte hai……to mujhe gussa aa gaya.."[Shravan,fine! I'm sorry..I had said too much..but it's because you keep saying I'm just a burden on you..It makes me angry..]

Shravan: Haan aur isiliye tum Rohit se saare dukh share karti ho aur mujhe kehti ho main kuch nahi samajhta,tum kaha to kiya karo..warna mujhe kaise samajh aayega?[Yeah right! That's why you share all your problems with Rohit and then you blame me for not understanding anything,how am I supposed to know without you saying anything..?]

Saachi:Shravan kuch baate bina kahe he samajh aa jati hai..aap kitne uff…..aapse kuch kehna he bekar hai.Aur waise bhi aapkokya farak padta hai?[Shravan,something have to be understood without being said..you are just..uff! It's just a waste to say anything to you…and why do you even care about my problems?]

Shravan:Dekha phirse,tum jaanti ho main baohut stupid hoon mujhe bina kahe kuch samajh nahi aata……[See..again! You know I'm stupid..I don't understand anything..]

Saachi:Theek hai to aap stupid bane raho..[fine,enjoy being stupid!]

And they stopped and there was silence…..they heard themselved fighting like husband and wife and they cracked at it!

Saachi was feeling much better now..not heavy or painful and shravan too realized his mistakes.

Saachi:Shravan aaj aap office mat jayye..aaj aap Tara k saath time spend kar lijiye……main samajh sakti hoon ki usse apse door rehkar aur wo bhi ek parai ladki k saath dekhkar kaisa lagta hoga.Shravan Tara iss waqt baohut nazuk mod par hai,aapko uske dil ki baat samajhni hogi. Samajhna hoga ki wo iss waqt aapka saath chahti hai..[Shravan,don't go to office today.Spend the whole day with Tara..I can understand how it feels to stay away from your lover…..Shravan,she's in a delicate state right now….you've to understand her….she wants you to be with her]

Shravan stared at her.(his eyes literally bulging)

He could never understand her..at one point she doesn't want to be left alone and then she's pushing him towards Tara?What does she want?!

She called Tara for him and handed him the phone.

She felt the similar heaviness in her heart and felt her her eyes getting teary..

She quickly turned and left.

Shravan was in no mood to talk to Tara..so he cut the phone when she had left.Instead he looked at their wedding pictures and remembered their passionate moments..and he was aroused……..

Shravan came out moments later and saw Saachi working.

Nidhi was upset with Shravan and she planned to confront him.

Shravan was lost in Saachi..

Nidhi:Shravan,yeh kya hai?[What is this ,Shravan?

Shravan was busy looking at her..and drooling over Saachi.

Nidhi noticed the smile on Shravan's face and saw him drooling over her.

Saachi was cutting vegetables when she cut her finger and she withdrew in pain.

Shravan ran inside and took her hand.

Shravan:Saachi tum bhi na,kitna khoi rehti ho?dhyan se kaam nahi kar sakti?Dekho ab kya ho gaya.[Saachi,you..you are so careless! Why weren't you careful? See what's happened now?!]

Saachi stared at him.

Saachi:Shravan main theek hoon,ye hota rehta hai..Shravan aap….

Shravan got the first aid box and wiped the blood with cotton and put medicine on her finger.

Saachi was surprised to see him concerned.

She stared at him,caring for her.

Nidhi hid herself and thought,"Ye Shravan ek taraf to contract marriage aur dusri taraf ye..aakhir ye ho kya raha hai?Ye dono ek dusre k liye care karte hai,aur jo mujhe dikh raha hai usse to…..ye care se kuch zyada hai…….shayad ye dono nahi jante hai ye kitna pyaar karte hai ek dusre se?......lagta hai mujhe he inn dono ko milwana hoga….."[Shravan is an extremely confused guy! On one side contract marriage and then all this?What is he doing? Both of them care for each other..and from what I can see..this something more than that..they don't even realize how much they love each other? I have to do something for them..]

She smiled naughtily.

Shravan was busy scolding her.

Saachi was lost in his eyes.

Then,took her from the kitchen to their room.He held her in his arms.

He gently put her on the bed…….

Shravan:Tum kaam nahi karogi..ghar main servants kis liye hai?[You are not going to enter the kitchen from now on,what are servants for?]

Saachi standing up,"Shravan kuch nahi hua..main bas…."[Shravan,nothing has happened..it's just that..]

Shravan:Chup..bilkul chup.Maine kaha na,koi kaam nahi.[Not one word now..If I say no work from now on that means no work..]

Saachi smiled at the concern.

Nidhi bhabhi was planning on sending Shravan and Saachi somewhere alone.
