Annonymus Singers??!!!!

😉 I have read with great interest the discussion on "who is the better singer? Swananda or Himani or Nihira ? I truly do not like how SGMP has changed the format to emphasis on performance rather than singing. I feel that with people voting, they are going to vote for the ones who have had more T.V. time , and with whom they have identified and bonded. The good performers always get the crowd going. TO make sure that only the best singer wins, here is a novel idea. Have the singers be heard but not seen when they perform. Give them numbers like Male Singer No. 1,Female Singer No. 2 etc. Let people vote and then reveal who won. It will stir a lot more interest in SGMP { are you listening Gaj ji?} What do you think???? 😉😉

I agree that the emphasis should be on singing but I would I also want a total package too meaning a person who is good singer along with a good performer.

Why does it have to be a performer ? If that was the case, Lata Mangeshkar would never have made it in the film music. These people are not joining a band, are they?Unless I am mistaken,they just want to be playback singers.

I think it does not need to be a radio show format, but these guys should completely take out the performance part from the show.. they should be back to what they used to be earlier.. that way they gave given the industry great singers like shreya ghoshal..

I agree with this idea. This would create a more justified selection of singers which sa re gama pa is supposed to do any way! however like some mentioned the images could have already made an impression, and sub consiously people could be influenced by this.However it is worth trying . It would be far more fair than the nonsense that has been going on now.
