Mahadev ki saugandh, jab mere vaanon ki varsha hogi, toh agni barsegi, aur woh agni Kuru sena aur senapatiyon ko yoon jalakar bhasm kar degi, jaise greeshma ritu, sookhi huyi ghaas ko jalakar raakh kar deti hai.

Bheeshma - Hey Angraaj, yeh na bhoolo ki shesh sab yodha tumhe kewal ardhrathi samajhte hain, kintu main tumhe Maharathi samajhta hoon. Kintu jis vyakti se tumne abhi abhi asabhya swar mein asabhya baat ki hai, tum uske dhanush par pratyancha chadhane ke yogya bhi nahi ho. Aaj poore sansar mein Guru Parshuram ke atirikt aisa koi bhi nahi, jo inse baat karne ke bhi yogya ho.

Kulguru: Angraaj, tum jis din satya ka baan sehna seekh jaoge, maharathi ban jaoge. Aacharya Drona ne theek hi kaha tha, yeh Kuru parivar ki samasya hai. Yuvraj tumhe Angraaj toh bana sakte hain, par woh tumhe Kuruvanshi nahi bana sakte. Yeh krodh jo koi bhi veer peele Angraaj, amrit samaan hota hai. Isiliye vatsa Duryodhan, tum bhi Gangaputra se kshama maango.

Bheeshma: Yeh kis kis apradh k liye kshama maangega aacharya. Main toh us din se darr raha hoon, jab ise kshama karte karte meri jholi rikt ho jayegi. Duryodhan: Main kshama chahta hoon Pitamah, kintu mujhse mere krodh ka ashwa sadhaya nahi jata. Bheeshma: Kahin aisa na ho vats, ki jab ye ashwa sadh jaye, toh tum yeh dekho ki tum ashwarohan karne ke yogya hi nahi rahe. Main woh din dekhne ke liye jeevit nahi rehna chahta putr. Isiliye meri baat maano aur sena ko Hastinapur ki ore lekar laut chalo. Laut chalo putr laut chalo. Chahe yudh ho ya dyut, kapat nahi karna chahiye putr. Jab chausar ka antim daanv laga tha toh main wahan tha putr. Aur tab ye nahi thehri thi ki tum apne guptcharon ko bhejkar paandu putron ke agyatwaas ko bhang karne ka prayatna bhi karoge.

Duryodhan: Ye vivaad yahan se vijayi lautne ke upraant kar lenge Pitamah, abhi is kshan ka satya ye hai ki maine unke agyatvas ko samapt kar diya hai aur unhe 12 varsh ke vanvaas ko sweekar karna hi padega. Bheeshma: Kewal matsya sena se yudh karne ki baat karo vatsa. Agyatwas ki baat mat karo. Ganit ke anusaar pandu putron ka agyatwas samapt ho chuka hai. Duryodhan: Hahahaha....yoon hasne ke liye kshama chahta hoon Pitamah, kintu aap ganit bhool chuke hain.

Bheeshma: Bharatvarsh ke saare ganit aacharyon ko ekatrit karo, aur unse poocho ki ganit main bhoola hoon, ya tumhari eershya ko ganit aati hi nahi.

It is overwhelming to see that how these super humans used to give respect to each other in their own way. Bheeshm's respect for Drona and Parshuram and to say that these two are one of the most powerful people on Earth(at that time) knowing the fact himself, that he had once defeated his Guru. Aur apni is anishtha ko nishtha bhi kahe jaa rahe ho. Na bhadkao apne mitr duryodhan ko na bhadkao. Tum ho hi kya, are hum sab milkar bhi arjun ka saamna nahi kar sakte..Us virat yudhh bhi tum bhi thhe aur main bhi tha..aur tumhara yeh mitr Duryodhan bhi tha jo aaj is sabha main baithkar yeh deenge maar raha hai ki voh arjun ki jeeva kaatkar apne dhanush ki pratyancha badha lega. Ha!!

I dont know why Im always in splits during this scene ,

Maybe because Mukesh Khanna albeit a great actor was a tad OTT in some scenes especially when he yelled or took Pratigyas .  (Dont get angry Debi i said only a tad ott 😆)

And so whenever he was pissed off at Duryodhan or Shakuni and used words like Durachari , Kapati , i cannot stop laughing. 😆

I also loved the expressions on these faces when Bhishma shut them up !

I know he is just 'TOO MUCH' in all those 'Pratigya' scenes.... and also while using those 'Shudhh Hindi Words'... But guess I am in love with that Image of Bheeshma😍...



Your comments are perfectly Correct Dear... You don't know I have already read a lot about Bheeshma's actions and their implcations in our Orkut- Mahabharat Community😊... So now its OK with me... I know Bheeshma has some flaws... but still decide to support him every time😊.

Loved this scene Dear 😊.... Seemed like watching them again ⭐️ !

And regarding the Respect for each-other of all the Powerful characters- always evident in the dialogues... Specially in nearly all the scenes of Bheeshma- Dron- Kripacharya and Vidur(and of course Pandavas😊).


I posted the dialogue of Guru Parashuram after the battle with Bheeshma in page 68. Posting it here again- "He Shishya Sreshth, He Ganga Putra, He Bheeshma, He Atirathi, aaj tumne apna Guru ko parast kar diya. Ab sansar me kisi Guru ko tum jaise Shishya nahi milega"...- Just Excellent ⭐️ ⭐️!!!



Though a bit 'off the track'😊😳... But still wanted to share that this scene reminds me of the Dialogue by Satyavati while coming to Shantanu with Bheeshma(after the 'Pratigya')-"Ab tumhare jaise putra kabhi paida nahi hoga"...Something like that(I don't remember the exact words though)-- but just Loved that scene⭐️!



Bheeshma ki gungaan jahan ho... wohi mai hoon😆😆...
