Rekha I hekec Telly chakkar no such news was there !! I know Rakhi and Vivaah on zee are ending bt I did'nt se anything in the headlinesnews scroll

I think the main problem for RKB is the time-slot on which it is coming now

At the 9 p.m. slot, Bidaai of Star Plus almost always remains no. 1 in TRPs, so that means most people watch Bidaai, and if not Bidaai, then obviously Balika Vadhu of Colors

So, not many people watches RKB and that's why the TRPs are so low for this show

You know what///I dont understand...How can rubbish shows like jeevan saathi and bandha saath janmon ka (they mean the same ...dont they )and the yawns have better trps than RKB?

And you know what I think RKB...should have been given a better name or a catchier name...Like Apu's charlies angels..hehehe!!

I mean c'mon everytime i tell my friends watch RKB its different....they say even the name sounds saas-bahuish..hehe!

Shanti, personally I don't think it is ending. I think after Ramayan, RKB and Jasuben are the next big thing for imagine. I don't know about Bandini or KMH but Balaji isn't doing too well at the moment..

...and like someone said one of the suppose-to-be-1-of-the-top-10-shows can't end like this. 🤔

no it should not end I like the show veeeeeeery much and I'm waiting for a good ends for Rohini an Dr Shekar , Rushi and Adi 's love stories and even for Rugs an Nikhil that's why I wish that RBKKD will coninue

Here is one more article talking about the soaps ending , RKB is not mentioned. I request people to stop spreading rumours about my fav. soap.

Where the year 2009 has begun in a special way for some of the television soaps like Bandini, Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kitni Mohabbat Hai, it has proved unlucky for many others like Babul ka Aangan Choothe Na, Teen Bahuraniyan and now most recently Rakhi, Vivaah and Main Teri Parchaain Hoon have announced that they will soon wrap up.

Main Teri Parchhain Hoon (NDTV Imagine)
Started: January 21, 2008.

The important cast included Megha Gupta and Sameer Dharmadhikari. But the show found it hard to interest viewers from day one itself. But the channel producer says lack of viewers is not the reason for wrapping up. "No?nothing like that? The show had a one year contract with the channel and that has got over on 21st."
Last Day: Feb 12, 2009

Rakhi (ZEE TV)
Started: August 27, 2007.
Ayub Khan and Nupur Joshi played the leads in the show. The story was based on the life of Nandini (Nupur) who is stuck between her husband and brother. The show did fairly well for sometime but it did not rock the small screen.
Last Day: February 12, 2009.

Vivaah (ZEE TV)
Started: April 21, 2008.
The story revolved around a husband-wife and their four daughters. The main cast included Raju Kher and Himani Shivpuri.
Last Day: February 6, 2009

Ajay Balwankar, Zee Programming Head, says "We are reconsidering the afternoon band and that's the only reason Rakhi and Vivaah are being called off. It has nothing to do with the TRPs."
