That random chick telling Samrat that she couldn't sleep last night and could only see him everywhere😕🤣 and Samrat replying, "cool, ismein problem kya hai'??!😕😕😕.....Maha cliched/pointless scene.....couldn't make head or tail of it😆😆..

And that's it for today😉

I think the point of that exchange was to show how blunt Samrat is. Although he understood she was interested in him he seemed apathetic to her comments showing although girls are all over him he will be polite and talk to them but thats it. It shows that he has never really cared or loved a girl.
Also goes to highlight wat Benji and everyone else has been saying: Of all the girls in the college he seems most interested in the one who doesn't seem to give a damn about him. WHY???

well, i can think of a couple of reasons....one is that they wanted to show YET again the way samrat is treated by girls and hence leading upto his statement of "Samrat you rock" and why he is soooooo super self-satisfied with himself which is probably the balloon that gunjan is going to burst, as she did that day when she asked him what he had accomplished by being so cool and popular.

Secondly, it might want to reflect samrat's general attitude towards girls and love, which is generaly on a non-serious but non-hurtful sort of an attitude.

But most importantly, and i think this is what the creatives had uppermost in mind , is that they wanted to show gunjan witnessing this...just as she had witnessed a girl hugging him at the party. perhaps they want to show her forming an image of him, although right now she is shown having only very positive feelings , but later it might come back to haunt her? i dont know?? but more importantly, they also show that even if he is with a girl , the moment he sees gunjan he sort of chalta karos the other girl and moves towards gunjan.....

well, i dont know....i dont claim to be the expert here...just some thoughts.

Oh wow, this random chick talking to Samrat scene seems to have made sense to everyone but me I guess 😆😆.....Umm, whatever may be the reason, whether it was that Gunjan was supposed to see how crazy the girls are about him (I'd think that would kinda have been pretty established by this point😕😆) or that Samrat is apathetic to the attention, I still found it odd.....Guess it's just me😆....I thought that chick sounded giddy and stupid and I expected Samrat to give her a "What the hell is wrong with you?" kind of look instead😆

@Sonali: Yeah, I realized that when I was watching the scene....Thank you for not giving too much away.😆😆

Anu, Very good dissection of the episode ... you spoke my mind for most parts ... Nupur being the quintessential Nupur, was in her best element. From her tete-e-tete with Mayu to her irritation at his open admiration by the girls was a "hoyye" scene.

P.S: I still don't understand Sam. Is he being selfish or is he being a good Samaritan to Gunjan?

Thanks, LadyMcbeth😊....Yep the tete-e-tete b/w Mayur in the epi before this one was more fun to watch😆....in typical 'hoyye' style😆

Sam I'm kinda confused about myself😕😆.....I guess on the surface he's doing it to prove a point since he made a bet with Dia that he will get Gunjan to sing and now it's his 'image' ka sawaal and all😆....but there's probably feelings under the surface that he may not be aware of.....after all, I doubt he's ever spent this much time running after a girl....whatever reason he may claim to do it for😆....For now it seems that he likes G and her shyness amuses him for the most part. 😆

i dont think samrat is the kind of guy who says what's wrong with you to anyone....he is generally very easy going...and he doesnt like to hurt people intentionally, and he wears his popularity lightly and easily. he doe3snt take all this too seriously. see the way he was just smiling in an exasperated manner at dia when she tries to put gunjan in a spot by asking her to sing. he doesnt get angry or lose his temper . i havent seen samrat getting flustered about anything so far...have you??? its supposedly part of his coolness quotient, though whether that attempt really succeeds is another thing...

Exactly😆😆...Don't quite think this 'coolness' quotient succeeds😆

I get that he wears his popularity lightly but I just cannot fathom being able to keep a straight face if someone ever talked to me like that girl did😕😕😆....regardless of how cool/calm/matter-of-fact I may be about my 'popularity' if I was in Sam's shoes😆😆.....The most 'polite' I'd manage to be is give a smile and not say anything...but Sammy boy replies, "cool, toh ismein problem kya hai"??!!😕😆.....

If THIS is the Samrat not trying to 'hurt' anyone's feelings, then I guess I'll forever remain clueless😆😆....I prefer the other Samrat....the one who teases Gunjan about her shyness and tries to shock her with outrageous statements😆.....NOT the Samrat who tries to act like some maha-stud😆....it falls flat in my opinion😆😆

eggjactly, his super studness attempts always fall flat in my opinion..he is much better in scenes when he is trying to be lovably sweet with G. but i think that's what they were trying to show in their own misguided way. that his false notions about his own superstudness are going to cause him a lot of grief and its his own personal cross he needs to get rid of. and who better to rid him of it than an ssbb...the ultimate defeat. he who thinks is invincible will be defeated by his own subject of amusement. yest u were saying that we are all hooked on ssbbs. i would say we are more intrigued by the destudification of the maha stud or rather the reformation of the rake. its an age old fascination in theatrical subjects...reformation of any kind....whether it is unknown fears a la G or misconceived ideas of studness a la Sam or excessive tight leash on oneself without letting oneself loose once in a while a la M or learning the lesson of occassional seriousness and sincerity and the fact that the end doesnt always justify the end a la N. ab bahut bhashan ho gaya...anyway, i am sure most viewers will not agree with what i have written....
