I thought it was an ok type of epi, yesterday's was better.....although the story kinda moved forward in this epi I guess😆😆
Things I liked:
Mayank's scene with his Mom: No, I'm not tired of putting them in this list yet😛😆😆......Him getting all worried about Nupur having heard "Mayu" was funny😆😆....Even better was his Mom's sarcasm and teasing in response to that..."Main toh bhool hi gayee thi ki mujhe ab yeh bhi khayaal rakhna padega ki Nupur kya sochegi"😆😆......Mayank's whiny response to that, "Maa, tum humesha har baat ko US tarhaan se kyun le leti ho" was hilarious!😆😆.....I wish Mommy had replied, "KIS tarhaan se Mayank?"😈😆😆
Though there was an awkward patch (I thought) when he suddenly switches to big grin while thinking about the party and goes, "Haan waise party mein mazaa aaya"😕😆😆.....I get the point, but they should have transitioned into that scene better than whiny Mayank suddenly seguewaying into (freakishly close to) fanboy Mayank....my nightmare😆😆
Best part was when his Mom calls him a GANDA BACCHA🤣🤣🤣
And then ofcourse, the first "story moving" thing that happened was when his Mom talks to him about Nups's report....highlighting the stark contrast b/w the report and Nupur.....and the description that she was giving of who might have written the report all but SCREAMED out that it was Gunjan! Mayank dude, get a clue!!😆😆.....Actually, I think he is now😉....Can't wait! Second story moving thing would be Gunjan agreeing to sing for the Talent Parade....Yeh Mayank aur Gunjan same time pe hi important cheezen karte hain lagta hai😆
The four thinking about each other: I'm excluding Dia from the 'daydreamer' list cuz I seriously didn't see any point to her dreaming😕😆😆.....Otherwise it was a nice sequence with nice bg music😍.....I thought Mayank and Gunjan's 'dreaming/thinking' bits were the best cuz they were actually well fleshed out to show exactly what they were thinking....M smiling to himself thinking about Nups trying to co-erce him into coming to the party was sweet....as was Gunjan thinking about all the times Sam was nice to her and helped her out throughout the party. With Nups, I dunno if she was thinking about M or his Mom cuz she had that murti in her hand after all😆😆.....Sam was just walking around smiling, but I guess it's safe to presume he was thinking about Gunjan even if there was no bg dialogue😆😆
Nupur reminiscing about M's mom and getting emotional: Sweet moment.....And I loved how Gunjan understood and despite feeling bad herself tried to distract Nups with something else....The sisters have a really nice bond. I hope this backstory about their Mom is well developed to show the effect it had on their lives.
Uday's 'geek' t-shirt: Talk about irony!🤣🤣....I have many MANY more choices I think Uday should use on his t-shirts instead of this one....the COMPLETE anti-thesis of what he is🤣.....Actually the made for Uday t-shirt would be (inspired from Mayank's dialogue)..."Main hoon kyun?"🤣
Thing that was OK types:
The Dance Sequence😆😆.....Maybe it's just me but I couldn't get over the fact that they were dancing to a latin/salsa sounding song in traditional diwali kind of clothes😕🤣🤣....And both Mayank and Sammy seemed to have quite some trouble with their dupattas🤣....Next time boys, ditch the dupattas....you need to be comfortable while dancing!😆......
Of course, there WAS one good moment in it when Nupur decides to twirl Mayank around🤣.....Hila ke rakh diya sach mein🤣....Solid shock!
Overall though, the actors all did a decent job with the dancing...so kudos to them for that....despite the fact that the choreography was largely choried from the movie only😆

That random chick telling Samrat that she couldn't sleep last night and could only see him everywhere😕🤣 and Samrat replying, "cool, ismein problem kya hai'??!😕😕😕.....Maha cliched/pointless scene.....couldn't make head or tail of it😆😆..
