The pre Diwali preparations have begun in full swing. The most important and auspicious day before the festival of lights is Dhanteras . It's a day that symbolizes prosperity and success. People buy gold and new stuff to start their new year with good luck. Lets see what our TV stars will invest in this year.

Hiten Paintal: Is investing in a brand new set of hot wheels. He is expecting the delivery of his new car, a swanky Range Rover by this Sunday. 'I'm super excited about it,' he enthuses. The upcoming actor says that he is sure that his new car will get him immense luck.

Smriti Irani: 'As always I will buy a little jewellery,' she informs. The biggest star on TV says that there are more important things on her mind, but she will follow the tradition as it's considered auspicious.

Deepshikha: 'I want to give the advance money for the new Skoda that I want to buy. I'm not into buying gold as I prefer buying diamonds. But some goddess Laxmi silver coins are a must for me.'

Anita Hassandani: 'God has been very kind to me. I have enough gold and diamonds. So, this year I'll buy some small stuff as a token of good luck for my mother. I have to make my mind yet on what it will be.'

Naman Shaw: I'm planning to do a small puja in my house. That is what I think gets good luck to people. Other than that I haven't thought about buying any materialistic thing as yet.'

Rakhi Vijan: 'This Dhanteras I want loads of dhan (money) to buy my own house. It won't happen soon but I'll pray that it does happen. Also I'll pray to God to give me enough work to keep me going.'
