Bollywood debutantes are no longer struggling actors but million dollar babies

Once upon a time newcomers had to struggle for existence in Bollywood but that has changed now. Debutantes are no longer struggling actors but million dollar babies.

The coup of Bollywood debutantes are the generation next of Bollywood, being just one film old, these newcomers have taken the nation by storm. Undoubedly, they are currently rated as the most saleable stars. If Bollywood's trade pundits are to be believed, these one film old wonders are already raking in the 'moolah' for sure.

'Saanwariya' may have failed to impress the viewers but not Ranbir Kapoor making his debut in the film. Ranbir Kapoor is already being wooed by the likes of Prakash Jha, Mani Ratnam and wonder director Karan Johar. Ranbir is reportedly charging a whopping Rs 3 crores per film.

Ranbir's sweetheart Deepika Padukone too is going great guns, the model-turned-actress is demanding a crore and already has three big budget films in her kitty. Also flying high is the talented Neil Nitin Mukesh, who has hiked his price to about Rs 2 crores and boasts of films with Yash Raj, Madhur Bhandarkar and Abbas Mustan.

It's not even been a month since the release of the blockbuster 'Janne Tu Ya Jaane Na' and the present blue-eyed boy of the industry Imran Khan, is already charging a hefty price tag of Rs 3 crores for his new found success. Imran's next release will be Sanjay Gadhvi's 'Kidnap'.

When it comes to self-belief, actor Harman Baweja takes the cake away. Despite delivering a flop at the box office, this debutante has upped his price to Rs 2 crores and will soon be seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's 'What's your rashee' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Chenab Gandhi'.

Now this might come as a bit of a surprise, industry insiders are already abuzz with the fact that veteran actor Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam Kapoor is probably one of the busiest newcomers in the industry, with her price tag being a cool Rs 2 crores per film.

The sterling fetching prices of these coveted newcomers certainly leaves one wondering, is the fate of an actor solely decided by the number of hits he's given in the recent times?
