KARAN OBEROI--welcome bells

Z ee's Antakshari is all set for a new entrant. No, we are not talking about a guest this time, but the host himself. The show will have Karan Oberoi in place of Sunil Pal. Hemani continues to be on the show. Adds Oberoi, "I have always wanted to be a part of those shows that look for new talent. Antakshari is one of them." He plans to give his charac- ter a different feel. He wishes to add enthusiasm to the show. Moreover, the whole look and feel makes him exhilarated about his new act. He smiles, "Since I have been doing live shows for a while now, I enjoy hosting talent hunt shows." Speaking about Sunil Pal's exit from the show, Oberoi informs, "Though we have per- formed together on sev- eral occasions, I have never interacted with him too much. So, I'm don't know the reasons for his exit from the show." The new episodes of Antakshari will have a kiddie spe- cial theme. Oberoi concludes "I was excited when I was told about the theme. I share a great chemistry with the bacha log. I'm hopeful that my act will take the show to higher levels."
