There's tension brewing on the sets of Antakshari as host Himani Kapoor seems to be rather unwilling to let co-host Sunil Pal share any of the limelight. Allegedly, Himani grabs Sunil's lines and promotes herself on the show. "Himani has done that several times and is unapologetic about it," informs a unit member.

The first season of Antakshari (Zee TV) had become popular for its fun element. But its host, Annu Kapoor's habit of outwitting his co-hosts had not gone unnoticed. Now history is repeating itself .

When contacted, Sunil appeared cheesed off. "She interrupts me when I am talking, or even when I am singing a song. I know she does it to grab attention, more screen space and be the front-runner."

Sunil adds, "I ignored it a couple of times because it is not right to discuss such matters in the middle of the shoot as it may affect our enthusiasm. But when her behaviour crossed limits, I had a talk with her one day.

"Instead of acknowledging her fault, she was indifferent. She got angry and told me, 'You don't know how to sing'. It's sad to be treated like this by a new entrant. I just hope it doesn't affect our chemistry and the show."

Himani is performing in the West Indies and could not be contacted for comment.

I agree with sunil pal.I think,she does sing a whole song when not required just to show off her singing skills.It is irritating,when she does that.My opinion. 😃

who knows u guy only heard one side of the story n obviously sunil won't admit it if he is at fault so u need to hear himani as well before u can decide

whatver,himani,when I watch her,tries to show off her voice and song.Her voice is good but this show is not testing her voice or her singing capability but of the participants 😳 😃

i agree!! she is trying to hard to make a place in industry.. but it's not going to last long, i hardly doubt she would be selected to host another show. and i don't even see any chemistry between sunil pal and himani. it just seems liek memorization of lines one after the other, it doesn't flow. I bet she just find mistakes when participants sing, so she can show off her singing ability.. haha jp..
is the tattoo on her right arm real???

I agree with U sachis 😃 but frankly,the participants are so off tune that himani seems to be the only person with sur,though she is showing off.This prog can be renamed as Himani's Antakshari,instead of Titan,hahhaa
