After Time Bomb Saluja to turn anchor for an upcoming channel
Adventure babe: Amrita Saluja |
Post Time Bomb Amrita Saluja has been lying low. But that does not mean she is not busy with work. To begin with, Saluja is now going to host a travel show which will be unique.
Speaking about the show, she says, "It's true that I'll be hosting a travel show for a channel called Voyage TV." Incidentally, Voyage TV is scheduled to be launched with great hype soon. "That is the reason I reluctant to give out any more details on that," says Saluja.
Amrita has already done a film called Detective Nani which is due to release soon. "The film had been in the making for quite some time but finally it's complete and ready to hit the screen."
Talking about her brand new show, Amrita says that she had a great time while doing the pilot episode for her untitled big venture, "I haven't started travelling for the show as yet but I'm soon going to leave for Sri Lanka, Bangkok and other countries." The USP of this travel show are the packages they will offer. "I've been instructed to not talk much about it hence I cannot give out more details."
Saluja has been the face of Whirlpool home appliances and has featured in numerous advertisements.
Now, she is looking at exploring new avenues. "That was also the reason behind my doing Time Bomb. In the interim, I realised that I could also act. I learnt that a 30-second ad film is far easier than enacting for a full fledged show."
Post Time Bomb she has been inundated with film offers but she wants to take it easy, "I do not want to play the done-to-death bhabhi or an aunty in any film, irrespective of the size of the role or the success of its banner. I'm keen on doing sensible crossover films that have a great market these days."
