Pawan Shankar shares the screen with Big B

Pawan Shankar has all the reasons to be happy. The suave actor recently shot for a commercial with none other than the Big B himself.

High on excitement the actor says, "It was my second commercial with Bachchanji. Earlier, we did a commercial for Reid and Tailor and I was awestruck when I faced him for the first time. But, this time around it was a relaxed affair. Nevertheless, it was definitely a great learning experience. I watched him closely and the way he was rehearsing for the take was an eye opener for me. Despite his stature and experience, the actor never took things easy but continued to rehearse with everybody on the sets. He did not limit himself to the vanity van as the stars of his stature would normally do. It was a humbling experience for me."

Pawan has featured in serials like Star One's Siddhanth where he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of a tough lawyer. Currently, he's being seen in Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan on Star Plus and Zee's Kasamh Se. He has also acted in Vinita Nanda's film White Noise.

The actor is taking time off to concentrate on better projects. Earlier Pawan had refused the role in Ravi Chopra's Viraasat which was later bagged by Aman Verma. "I don't want to feature in female dominated shows because it sidelines your character and your scope as well," says the actor.
