Pooja's husband is talking to someone and they walk into a restaurant, Sambhav and Namita are together and come in the same restaurant. Pooja's husband sees them.
Sambhav gives Namita a mobile as a gift, she says she cant take it, he then tells her that she is afraid of Uma and that is why she is not accepting his gift. She says its because of Aai and Baba. He convinces her to accept the mobile so that they could talk whenever they want and he would pay the bill.
Pooja's husband joins them, introduces himself as Purshotam, Namita is tensed. Sambhav asks him to leave, before leaving he tells Namita that he will see her in the Basti. Namita is afraid that he will tell everyone there about her and Sambhav.
Uma goes to see Pooja. Pooja tells her to leave Sudhanshu. Uma asks her what she should do about the medicine. Pooja advises her to show the medicine to the doctor. Uma tells her that she does not know the name of that medicine and only her MIL has control of all medications of Sudhanshu. Pooja tells her to steal it and also mentions that she thinks it is some sort of a plot (saazish).
Namita is at home, her mobile rings. Aai and Baba are surprised to see the mobile, its Sambhav on the line, Namita does not take the call, and tells Aai and Baba that Uma gave her this mobile as a Diwali gift and she will pay the bill for it as well. Her mother is happy and tells her to call Uma, Namita makes an excuse and does not call Uma and leaves for college.
Uma asks the servant about Sudhanshu's medicine, he informs Uma that her MIL as already given all medications to Sudhanshu before leaving, she asks the servant why are medicines always kept locked, he tells her its because of Sudhanshu, then she asks him who has access to the medicine cupboard, he says that Juhi sometimes opens it otherwise no one else.
A girl (I think her name is Bilquis) is crying, Munna comes to her, she says that money is needed to be given to someone so that their name comes out of the notice and she has to quit studying.
Munna goes to Matre and starts beating him up and asking him where he was when the notice came, and he has not done anything for the Basti. Matre informs them that the factory and this land of Basti belongs to Uma's in-laws. Munna does not believe him, but then Singh comes and tells them that what Matre is saying is the truth, as they always dealt with the manager and have never seen the real owners. Singh tells them that he has already spoken to Dushyant and will be getting the Basti papers. Munna feels that Uma will be able to help them out. Fakir says that he will go and get the papers himself and handle everything.
Uma brings coffee for Jaya, and is very hesitant but tells her that she wants to consult another doctor for Sudhanshu as he is not improving with the current medication he is taking. She asks Jaya that next time she get the cupboard keys from mother to take out her jewelry, if she could also takeout Sudhanshu's medicines and give her a sample. Jaya is taken aback and says she will not steal.
Munna and Pooja are talking about the notice, Gondia joins them as well. Munna feels that Uma knows everything but has not informed them, he feels that Uma has changed, she is now no longer the daughter of the Basti, but the daughter-in-law of the owners of the Basti (Basti ki beti nahin barey ghar ki bahu hai). Pooja defends Uma, but Munna tells them that he will go speak to Uma himself.
Uma tells her MIL that she would like to take Sudhanshu to a Veid Baba, her MIL says no, he is being treated. Uma says that the treatment is not improving Sudhanshus condition and she is the one that has to spend her whole life with him, and wants to consult another if not veid atleast another doctor. Her MIL says that she has taken Sudhanshu to many doctors, and all of them have said that Sudhanshu will improve very slowly she refuses Uma from taking Sudhanshu to any other doctor and leaves. Uma thinks that Pooja may be right and there may be no way out but to steal the medications.
Pooja and Munna come to see Uma at her in-laws place. Munna tells Uma that she has changed, money has changed her. Uma does not understand what he is talking about. Pooja then explains everything to Uma, that the illegal part of Basti is being demolished. Pooja informs then that the factory owners are her in-laws and that Sanju and her Baba were fighting against her in-laws, but as they never met the owners no one knew this. Uma is surprised and stunned to hear this.
Munna tells Uma that it is unbelievable that she did not know this, he then tells her that Uma Jajodia you are ready to sell the land of Basti, how much are you selling it for. Uma gets angry and slaps him. He tells her to go slap her brother-in-law (dewar), and informs her that there are 10 days left and to get the Basti papers and give it to them. Pooja and Munna leave.
Uma is standing inside the house, thinking, when her MIL comes there and asks her why Pooja and the other guy from the Basti came here. Uma tells her to give her some information that had been kept as a secret from her. Uma tells her that they told her that the Basti land and factory belonged to the Jajodia's. Her MIL says that every1 knows, if the Basti people do not know what can she do about it. Uma tells her MIL that everything was setup as such that Basti people are blaming her for being involved in selling the Basti land. She tells her MIL that you know how to do business (sauda), Uma tells her MIL that as she has accepted her son, she (MIL) should talk to Dushyant to give the papers to the Basti folks. (I am not sure but I think she said otherwise her parents will go through a lot of pain, maybe meaning that she will tell them about Sudhanshu or leave Sudhanshu).
Sudhansu is sleeping but restless, he gets up, sees Uma sitting on the sofa, goes upto her, sees her crying and asks her why. She does not tell him, he says that you should tell your friend. She then tells him she is sad because she slapped Munna. Sudhanshu wipes her tears and tells her not to cry as it hurts him.
Fakir is at Dushyants office. I missed a couple of seconds here but I think Dushyant gives him money which Fakir takes. Dushyant tells Fakir that when bulldozer comes to destroy the basti he will not get in the way and let the bulldozer do its work. Fakir agrees. He asks Dushyant about the papers that he promised Singh. Dushyant tells him he does not remember any Singh nor any papers, and both Fakir and Dushyant laugh.
Pooja talks to Munna about understanding Uma's position, but Munna still thinks Uma is guilty. Uma comes there and tells him she is guilty of giving him Sanju's place. Munna asks Uma if her in-laws are taking back the notice, Uma does not answer him and leaves.
