Aai and Baba both accept Sapna as their bahu.
Singh and Fakir discuss the notice, and Singh confides in him that the land belongs to the Jajodia family, and wonder if Uma knows anything about the notice or the land belonging to her in-laws.
Fakir tells Singh that he should go to Uma susral with the Diwali gifts and talk to Uma about the notice. Singh agrees to go.
Uma comes to Basti bringing crackers and sweets for the kids. Her mother asks her to go get Sapna as all of them have accepted her as a bahu of this house.
Pooja comes there and tells her that Basti people have gone to her house with the Diwali gifts. Uma is tensed about them finding out the truth about Sudhanshu and she makes an excuse and leaves.
At her in-laws house, Sudhanshu is sitting with the Basti people in the hall, everyone tries to talk to him and ask him questions, but Sudhanshu does not answer, but he does not lose control as well. Uma arrives and sends Sudhanshu inside with the servant, and her behavior tells the Basti people to leave. Singh is very hurt by Uma's attitude. He tries to talk to her about the notice but she just tells him she will come to the Basti and talk to him there.
Singh then tells Uma that they cant leave without Namita, as she came with them and it is his responsibility to take her back home. Uma calls out for Namita.
Namita is in Sambhav's room, as Sambhav opens the door, he sees Uma standing there, Namita sees her and leaves. Uma tells Sambhav that she had told him to stay away from her sister, Sambhav tells her that Namita come to his room of her own free will, and what ever she wants to explain she should tell it to her own sister, He says that now as she is in their house, what will other people say that her sister is trying to get hold her dewar. (Dewar ko phasa rahi hai).
Uma slaps Sambhav, and tells him that till he learns to respect his elders he will keep getting these slaps.
Singh returns to the Basti, Fakir asks him if he had a chance to speak with Uma, Singh tells him that Uma did not want to speak with them, and wanted them to leave her house.
Uma's MIL asks Sambhav why he did not attend the party, Sambhav tells her that Uma gave him a slap as Namita came to his room to meet him. Uma's MIL calls her and questions her, and tells her to control her sister, and ask her sister what she wants from Sambhav, she tells Uma that next time before she does such a thing she should remember that we have hands too. She then tells Sambhav that next time such a thing happens you give an answer and don't come crying to me.
Uma comes to her room, tells Sudhanshu to have his breakfast. Sudhanshu tells her that for him she is being dis-respected in the house, they have isolated him and now they are doing the same to her. He tells her that because of him she did not attend the party. Uma tells him she did not go to the party because she wanted to spend time with her friend. Sudhanshu asks what is a friend, Uma tells him it is some who listen, talks, spends time, and tells him that she is his friend.
Namita calls up Sambhav to asks Uma didi reaction on finding her in his room, Sambhav tells her that Uma slapped him and does not want them to meet. Namita tells him that she will meet him.
Uma and Pooja discuss Namita and Sambhav when Namita comes there and is very rude to both Uma and Pooja and is very defiant in her attitude that she will see Sambhav. She tells Uma that you are jealous as you do not want me to marry in a rich family like you, and you are trying to put me down in the eyes of your mother in law, so that when Sambhav tells his mother that he wants to marry me, she refuses. Pooja then asks Uma if she found out any reason for her marriage with Sudhanshu.
Singh goes to visit Dushant in his office and talks about the notice. Dushant acts as though he does not know anything. He tells Singh that the land used to belong to them, but they gave it to a trust, so the government must have sent the notice and not him. Singh asks him for the papers, Dushant says he needs to find them. Singh believes Dushant.
After Singh leaves Dushant tells his manager that he made a mistake, he should have let Singh believe that Uma knows about the notice, so that the Basti turn against Uma. He thinks, then says it can still be done, there is still a way.
Sudhanshu brings some food for Uma and tells her to eat it as he knows she likes it and if she eats it .. it will make him happy. He then tells her that he has brought the juice for her as he likes the juice and if she drinks it … he will feel happy.
Sudha comes in with Sudhanshus medicine. Uma tells her that from now on she will give him his medication. Sudha tells her that MIL wants her to do it and will talk to Dushant about it. Uma then sees Sudhanshu gulping down a 4 th pill, she asks him not to eat it and thinks what is this pill for.
Dushant informs his mother about Singhs visit to his office. His mother tells him that we will give them the papers at the right time, but before then the Basti will be demolished.
MIL goes to say sorry to Uma for her behavior on Sambhav issue. Uma asks her permission to take Sudhanshu to the doctor and to be responsible for giving him his medicine as well. Her MIL says yes.
Uma calls that doctor for an appointment for Sudhanshu and asks him about the Vitamin Pill. Doctor tells her that he has not prescribed any Vitamin pill for Sudhanshu.
Uma asks Sudha about the vitamin pill and its name and asks for its prescription. Sudha tells her that she just takes the pill from their MIL and she does not know anything else about the medicines.
Uma goes to talk to her MIL, she tells her MIL that she had called the doctor and he said not to give Sudhanshu any Vitamin Pill as it may prove harmful for him. Her MIL gets nasty again and tells her that she has been giving Sudhanshu those pills for a long time and they are good for him. Her MIL tells her that if she apologized earlier it does not give her (Uma) the right to question her at all.
Her MIL says that if I don't say anything on whatever you are doing, like making friends with Juhi or being soft towards Sudha or gaining confidence of Sudhanshu, the final decision of everything rests with me.
In the end her MIL says a sentence like even if I want to give him poison and kill him I cant as I am his mother and walks away.
