The episode commences with sudanshu..sitting on the staircase in the house which is Silent … . The staircase is lined with diyas on both sides .. Uma appears and sees Sudanshu sitting all by himself his face lowered and covered by his hands . She gently asks him .. whats wrong ..?
What happened .. she assures him that he wont hear the crackers .. as she has shut the windows of the room ..
Sudanshu just says Thanks .. and Uma asks Why ..?
He says .. " for taking his side earlier on the Terace .. uma smiles .. sitting next to him on the stairs . She pulls out a hand held sparkler ..and gives it to him .. of course sudanshu is scared to even Hold it even though its not lit . .. she convinces him that it wont hurt ..him sine its not hurting her as she is holding it .
And slowly Uma lights the sparkler and hands it to him .as hey both hold on to it together Uma guides his Hand and slowly whirls t around .. trying to help sudanshu over come his fear of crackers Beautiful Scene ..! .
Dushyant is pacing in his room all fired up .. wearing a purple shirt muttering how Uma insulted him ..in front of everyone . His wife who is wearing a lavender color saree .. ( looks like both hubby and wife are matching up ) .. don't know his wifes name .. anyways .. she of course is in agreement as to what Uma did and Dushyant doesn't like this one bit .. his wife explains that how can Uma stand watching this treatment to sudanshu . Dushyant Flares up .. and at that moment there is a Knock on their bedroom door .. Its Uma .. asking her sister in law where extra medicines are kept ..? and she also asks dushyant .. for Money reminding him That he had Once told her if she needed Money she should just ask Him . .. dushyant scowls hearing Uma ask for Money .. and asks her Why she needs the Money ..
For sudanshu she says .. and Dushyant rudely tells her that he will talk to his Mother .. about the money . Uma says he should make some arrangements so she doesn't have to bother him for money every now and then .. She also tells Sudha that gradually she will learn the daily chores then she will not bother her where sudanshu is concerned .. she bids them Goodnite and leaves . .
The Next morning MIL is sitting engrossed in reading the daily paper.. she asks Uma who is in a Lovely Yellow saree why she needs the Money
Uma taunts her ..saying .. that she has been given everything from Sarees to jewelry .. so she doesn't want anything but sudanshu may want things and she dosent have Money to buy him things ..also she dosent want to ask from outsiders as this may malign their family Name .
MIL says she will get what she wants .. as she runs the expenses in the House .
Then Uma asks her if she can go see her parents ..
Uma comes to meet her Folks ..and tells her parents about Sapna's pregnancy ..
She informs them that sanju her bro their son is the Father of the child and that they should accept sapna as thier Daughter in law
A notice has arrived .. for the residents of the basti .. and all are tensed .. Uma's dad has not received this Notice .. anyways everyone wants know who has sent this notice .. so one of the residents. The sardarjee .. goes to the the Muncipal corp .. to find out who is responsible after paying a Good bribe ..the clerk hands over the file ..to be read
Sardarjee Is baffled when he reads That its Uma's In laws ..Dushyant jajodia who is responsible ..for all this .. . he goes to the Basti and tells all That he doesn't know who is responsible . i dont know why he keeps quiet .. maybe he will tell Uma privately ..
UMa and her friend pooja .. have a Nice Chat .. Pooja asks Uma .. why was sudanshu married ..? why would a family get their mentally disabled son married and ruin a girls life ?
They can easily hire a someone to take care of him ..there is no need to get him married . she convices Uma to keep her eyes and ears open within the house to find out the reason behind her marriage . .. really loved the dialogue exchange between the 2 friends . about how Uma had been pooja's mentor once upon a time and Now Uma is walkig Pooja's path .…
Uma is in the Mall with sudanshu .. and they are taking the escalator when sudanshu .. spots's Sambhav and tells Uma .. Actually Sambhav s there wth Uma's sister .. buying stuff .. sambhav and uma's sister try to hide .. and somehow escape .
At home , sudha, Jaya and sunyana .. are admiring the gifts that sambhav has got them for diwali .. and they ask him how come this year he has selected very appropriate gifts for them .. compared to last year .( well Ladies .. sambhav took Uma's sister shopping with him That's why ) the sudha asks Sambhav How come he didn't buy a gift for Uma ..? sambhav doesn't answer .. and changes the subject informing everyone about the diwali pooja in their office and a party later on .. and that Dushyant said Uma can come But Not sudanshu … just then Uma appears ..and tells Sambhav . That How can Dush say that ..
Sambhav tells Uma that its diwali and there will be lots of noise and crackers sudanshu will disrupt the party .. to this uma remarks that .. u guys don't care about sudhanshu 's well being .. and outsiders are given more preference .. she continues .. by telling all that when she came home after marriage ..dushyant told her That .. the ladies of this Family don't do or go anywhere without their husbands so Now how come he expects me to attend this party without her Husband ..? she proudly tells sambhav that she knows that sudanshu just wants her to be at the party so she ..the basti girl ..can see HOW THE RICH THROW LAVISH PARTYS AND THAT the guests can admire how the Jajodia's have accepted a basti girl in their family … sambhav and his Mom along with sudha are lost for words .. . Another powerful scene .. from Smriti Excellent Performance too . Very Good .. I was applauding as uma Gave Sambhav and his Mom .. a peace of her Mind .. A must see Episode . Smriti's performance was Excellent .as always 😛
