Now on with the update! 😃
The episode starts with Prabha Kaki chastising Pragya for not calling her to find out the "raaz" sooner. Pragya tries to sweet-talk her way out of it and eventually succeed too, but not without Prabha Kaki's recognition of her doing so. Prabha Kaki asks Pragya where they intend on living after the wedding and even though at first Pragya taalo-fies the topic, eventually she lets Prabha Kaki know about Nishi's decision to live in a rented apartment. Then Prabha Kaki explains to Pragya how the right "chaal" at the right time can result in the most profit i.e. Pragya can join hands with Prabha Kaki and together they can con the Kulkarni's. Pragya seems to have an issue with working "under" Prabha Kaki and tells her so, but Kaki assures her that it would be an equal partnership and if anyone would be "puppeteer-ed" it would be the Kulkarnis. (There are a lot of "card" tricks used here by Prabha Kaki that I don't feel like getting into.. But I do have to say, it was sort of hilarious watching those two self-absorbed women having an ego clash with each other. Prabha Kaki wanted to show Pragya she's boss, while Pragya was trying hard to do one up in front of Prabha Kaki. It had me in splits. I can totally think of at least two people in my own family like that do this ALL the time! I swear I love how realistic this show is - at least to me.. I wonder what that says about my extended family.. 🤣)
Finally Prabha Kaki informs Pragya about the raaz - about the fact that the Kulkarni's building in Shivaji Park was worth 30 crores and that if Pragya stays around the house, with the family and gets to be their "favorite" bahu that she might have a chance at selling the house and becoming a "crorepati". Hearing this, you could literally see dollar signs materialize in Pragya's eyes. Pragya agrees to join hands with Prabha Kaki (but not before Prabha Kaki does a stupid word trick where she cuts off the "Pra" from each of their names making the remaining letters form "Bha-gya" as in "Fate".. Seriously?!?! Was a word trick really that important to reiterate the fact that they could be diabolical together?!? REALLY?! *dies laughing* 🤣🤣)Pragya eventually asks Kaki what her animosity with the Kulkarni's was about but Kaki taalo-fies it with the excuse that she'd share that with Pragya at the right time. (By the way, I have to say that I really like the realistic "raaz" here - no "dead people" in the family's history or "illegitimate children". Just a simply greedy relative manipulating another greedy member.. Now that is something I see a lot! *nods approvingly at the realistic show*)
Pragya's sitting in her room remembering Prabha Kaki's words about the house being worth a fortune and has a goofy smile slapped on her face as a result of it. (Did anyone else notice the decorative lighting INSIDE the room?! WHO does that??!?! 🤣🤣) Sidhi (Pragya's friend) comes there and they have a cute friend's-moment where Sidhi expresses happiness/jealousy for Pragya's good fortune and Pragya messes around with Sidhi by commenting on her being lucky to be getting married to Nishi - in fact Pragya even tells Sidhi about Nishi's expensive house and how eventually that house will be theirs, making them rich. Basically, Sidhi is super happy for Pragya and Pragya is super happy for herself and they both hug each other (and somewhere a small rainbow forms above the world to quantify how "awesome" everything is!! *claps excitedly*... Yes, that was sarcasm..)
The next morning, it's the wedding day and Aayi is starting with the regular rituals of the wedding before the wedding procession leaves. Aayi asks Mugda to do the aarti for Nishi which bring Mugda face to face with Nishi. She's reminded of her conversation with Nishi about him leaving the house after marriage and she gets all teary eyed. Nishi tries to salvage the situation by making a joke about them getting late and Pragya changing her mind, but Mugda's attention is caught by a family photograph and she goes back into nostalgic mode. Finally Aayi nudges Mugda and placates her. (Did any one notice Shree's surprised/annoyed face when Nishi says that he won't be going anywhere, even though Nishi was being more along the lines of "I'll always be in your hearts"? Like for a minute he was thinking "Damn it! My room's in danger again?!".. Seriously.. What a douche! *disgusted muh*)
They all ready the wedding hall (I assume) and Aayi-Baba are greeting the guests while everyone else is mingling. Nishi is escorted down the step of stairs by a couple of guys and then the pandit asks for the bride. Pragya walks in with her parents and the wedding rituals are started. Nishi sees Pragya and gets all mesmerized forgetting to exchange garlands, which leads Baba to pick on him with jokes. When Pragya and Nishi exchange garlands, Devki is shown being sad and devastated. Finally the entire wedding is complete and Nishi/Pragya get everyone's blessing. Mugda notices Devki's devastated/teary-eyed face and Devki turns away from her. The episode ends at Mugda's sad/surprised face. (Throughout the scene, Nishi seemed to be adoring Pragya - *sigh* If nothing else, that was sweet.. At least I thought so.. 😆)
Precap: Pragya's father is giving Baba some money with tears in his eyes and Nishi notices this from the door. He comes in and questions his father one's Pragya's father leaves and accuses Baba to "selling his son" i.e. taking a dowry. (Dude! What is it with both these brothers and yelling without cause? Would it kill them to WAIT until they find out the whole story before they jump to a conclusion AND also get pissed off about it?! WTH!?!?! Idiots, the two of them!!!)
