April 16 (Mon):

Ram goes out to look for Rekha at the doctors, but is told that Rekha did not come there. He then goes to her friends house but is also told that she did not come there. Ram goes home and he shouts at Kasthuri when she asks about Rekha. Annamalai and Radha comes there and asks what the matter is and Ram and Kasthuri says nothing. Then Radha asks where Rekha is and Ram malupufies that she has a headache and is sleeping. Radha wants to see her but Ram tells them that she is not to be disturbed and Radha says ok. Ram goes upstairs.

Next morning Kasthuri takes coffee to Ram's room and Kasthuri says that she doesn't know what to do if both Rekha's parents asks for her. Ram says he will take care of the matter. Radha asks for coffee. Kasthuri brings coffee for both of them with trembling hands. Radha notices this and ask what the matter is. Kasthuri says that she had fever and that is why. Radha wants to take her to the doctor but Kasthuri says she is okay now that Rekha had given her some tablets. Ram comes there and both parents asks how Rekha is and Ram says that Rekha is not in right now because she has gone walking. Annamalai and Radha are surprised and Rekha walks in. When asked where she was, Rekha says she was int he garden looking at flowers. She says that eventhough flowers only live for one day they are happy for as long as they are in bloom unlike some human beings who are fake and that she hates people like that and goes upstairs. Annamalai asks what is the problem with Rekha as she is talking funny and Ram says nothing is wrong it is just mood swings.

Ram goes upstairs and asks where Rekha had gone all night and that he was afraif for her. Rekha says why should he worry because some time back when Ksthuri was missing he did not show any compassion at all. She goes on to say that Ram only likes her because she is fair skinned and a little pretty, othewise he would not even look at her. Ram tells her that he agrees he has made a mistake but Rekha cuts him off saying is had made THE mistake and no women will forgive him. Ram asks what must he do and Rekha says he sould get out of her sight.

Rekha is getting ready for bed and takes the sheets and pillow. Ram tells her not to sleep ont he floor but Rekha says that even if she sleeps on the floor she is in a room with ac but Kasthuri is sleeping on the floor in the kitchen where there is no ac and it is hot and how come he does not think of that. Ram says he has wronged and again asks what he can do and Rekha says that there is only one way that is Divorce. Ram says he wants to be with her to receive their baby when it comes into the world. Rekha says she has decided not to have the baby and is taking medication to abort it. Ram smiles and tells her that it is what she is thinking but the medication she is taking is actually vitamin pills to keep the baby healthy. Rekha is shocked. THODARUM.

April 23 (Mon):

Rekha sits on the bed beside Ram who is sleeping, to get his cell. Ram is actually not sleeping but is happy to think that Rekha is slowly changing her mind and slowly forgetting her anger. He thinks that Rekha actually want to be with him but its only her ego that stops her. Suddenly the cell ring and Rekha quickly put the phone down and goes into the rest room. Ram answers and its a wrong number. Rekha comes back and puts her bed on the floor as usual and goes to sleep. Ram is confused but says that he will see how long this goes on and goes to sleep.

Next morning, Kasthuri is watering the plants and Rekha goes to her and asks about the phone call. She asks who is the attai and mama that Kasthuri was talking to. Kasthuri says that it is her neighbor who likes her a lot. Rekha is not ready to believe her because Kasthuri even said that her own brother Suresh to be a friend and scolds Rekha for covering up for Ram who is a throgi. Rekha then says that she will find out from Suresh. Kasthuri quickly goes and calls up Suresh and warns her about Rekha and tells him not to say anything about Ram's parents or family. Suresh tells her he will do what is necessary when Rekha calls and they hang up. Kathuri puts the phone down and Rekha comes from behind and asks if Kasthuri has told her brother everthing that need to protect Ram. Kasthuri is cornered and has no choice but to tell her about Ram's parents and his sister. She also tells Rekha they are very nice people. Rekha says then they should solve Kasthuri's problem easily. Kasthuri then tells Rekha that nobody knows about the problem and they think that Kasthuri is living a happy live with Ram. Rekha is furious to know that Ram has cheated so many people. She tells Kasthuri that Kasthuri has topped even Nalayini and Kasthuri in protecting the husband, but the those ladies husbands are uthamans whereas Ram is a pache throgi. Kasthuri tells Rekha to forget about the past and to live happily with Ram because he did all this because of his love for Rekha. Rekha wants nothing of it and tells Kasthuri that she is not willing to be an adimai like Kasthuri. Rekha then tells Kasthuri that she wants to meet their in-laws and call them attai and mama because she too have the right. Rekha asks Kasthuri if there are any nore secrets and to tell her one by one because if she hears all of them at one go, she might die of a heart attack.

Gaja is packing food. Attai comes there and asks who it is for. Gaja says it is for her husband. Palani and his FIL comes there and Gaja apologzes for the delay. She also says that because she is late, she is only giving thayir satham and will make poriyal, aviyal from the next day. FIL tells Palani that since he is going to the temple, he will send him to the bus-stop. Murali comes there and Gaja asks him to drop Palani off at work. Murali tells them that he came only for that. Gaja then asks why he did not come the evening before as she had made some pal payasam (Kavitha, ungal Pal Payasam recipe ye Muhurtham and Kasthuri makkal pathutanga pole - sikiram patent panidunga ma!😆). Murali says he was delayed at work and Gaja says not to worry, when Palani gets his 1st month salary she will give him a big treat. Murali and Palani leave but Gaja stops and goes inside. She bring a hanky and give it to Palani, and when he takes it from her a dollar note falls on the floor. Gaja tells him, it is for his expenses for coffee or tea. Gaja's father takes and gives the money to Palani and they leave. Attai is watching with a sad face ( I think she might know the secret)

Murali then leaves Palani at a curb and asks him where he is going and Palani tells him as usual he will look for a job. Murali then give more money to Palani and says that he can return it when he gets a job.

Rekha comes downstairs and is ready to go to the office. She calls for daddy. Kasthuri tells Rekha not to go to the office because momy said so. Mommy too comes there and tries to stop Rekha but daddy says it is okay for Reka to go to the office.

Mommy says that Rekha should have told them that she is interested in business before getting married and now when she has a husband to care for. Rekha says that no one has the right to interfere in her independence, Mommy says a wife's duty is to send and receive the husband with a happy and smilling face everyday. Rekha says "that is why I have told and kept Kasthuri here to do that." Mommy, Daddy and Kasthuri are shocked. THODARUM.

April 25(Wed):

Continue from yesterday. Shiva tells his mom never to talk bad about his wife anymore. He tells her she only came back with her cousin and no one else. He also tells his mother he knows more about his wife then she does and he tells Thanam to go inside. Once again he warns his mom not to talk bad about his wife and goes in and consoles his wife. He tells Thanam that she does not have to worry about anything because he is not suspecting her because he knows the kind of person she is and that she should not worry about what his mom says. He continues to says that his mom is old and that they cannot change her and Thanam should not listen or pay heed to her nonsense.

At the office Rekha gets angry with a staff (Missed the begining of the conversation) for some mistake he did. She also asks him why he has two wives. The man says that because his wife could not conceive, and he wanted a varisu, he married again. Then Rekha asks him how many children he has and the man answers none. Rekha asks him if he is going to get a third wife and he says no as he has enough trouble after the 2nd marriage and takes leave. Rekha is very irritated and talks to herself that if a women cannot conceive, they get the man married and none thinks about the fault being with the man and try to get the women married instead. While she is thinking our Duck, sorry Kasthuri comes with a basket, a huge warmer and a 6-tier tiffin carrier and walks in. Rekaha asks if she has brought food for the entire office staff and Kasthuri says that Rekha needs to eat so that she will be strong and healthy. Annamalai comes there and talls Rekha that the cashier whom Rekha had reprimanded is very upset. Rekha says how can a man with 2 wives focus on his job. Annamalai says to drop the subject and they all go in for lunch.

In the village, Ram's dad is listening to Pasamalar song when his sister comes in. She looks at him a moment and switches off the radio. She tells him that the everyone is talking about the marriage proposal by MLA and that he had accepted it. She is upset that being his sibling, he had not told her. Both am's parent say that it is true that the MLA has proposed but he had not accepted it yet and had said that he would think over. His sister then says why can't he just say that his daughter is betrothed to her son Manickam. She then tells how much her son Manickam loves Jayanthi and he had bought her a saree with his earnings. She calls Jayanthi and gives the saree to her. Jayanthi seems happy and takes it and goes inside. Again her attai brings up the wedding matter and Jayanthi's mom takes her inside to talk. Jayanthi goes to her room and admires the saree, takes out her cousin's photo and talks to it. She then calls her attai;s house and her Manickam (It is non other than our RajPriyan!😃). When he answers, she just keeps quiet and when there is no answer he hangs up. She calls again and at first she keeps quiet anwhen Manickam says he is hanging up, she answers and asks if he loves her so much that he had bouth her 2 sarees so far. At first he doesn't understand and then Jayanthi says who she is. Manickam seems to be confused and asked what saree and Jayanthi tells him his mom had given the saree. He asks for his mom and she tells him she is inside with her mom discussing something. He asks her to tell his mom to call him and before Jayathi could reply he hangs up. Jayanthi talks to her self that he is too shy to talk to her now and what would he do after their wedding. Jayanthi's father is in the living and he thinks about agreeing to his sister's proposal as he feels his daughter also likes Manickam. Both SILs come out of the kitchen. Jayanthi;s attai calls Jayanthi her DIL but her mom is not happy and tells her SIL before anything is finalized, not to call her daughter DIL and to plant any ideas on her head and leaves! SIL looks after her and leaves.

It is night and Shiva comes out of his room and finds his mom sitting in darkness. He comes to her and asks why she is not asleep. Megala tells him that she lost all sleep since Shiva's father died. She then starts to complain about Thanam again. Shiva says that Megala is unnecessarily worrying because Thanam loves her. Megala tells her son that Thanam is pretending in front of him and is trying to separate both mother and son and has begun her work. Shiva gets any and tells her that Thanam will not do that. Megala tells Shiva that he ws a mama's boy before marriage but now has begun to listen to his wife more and that he he getting worried. Shiva is unable to say anything and just looks at his mom. THODARUM.
