Nov 26(Mon):

Masil takes the paper from Jothi, reads the contents and is furious. He shouts at Jothi for writing to Ram and disobeying him. Kasthuri comes in to see what the commotion is all about and is shocked t see her FIL shouting at her MIL. He tells Kasthuri that int he 30 years of marriage, this is the first time Jothi had lied to him and disobeyed him by writing to Ram. He then tells Jothi to make a choice between him and Ram and walks off. Jothi is unable to say anything and cries with Kasthuri trying to console her.

Suganthi goes to Megala's house and both ladies talk. Suganthi tells Megala to arrange for Sumathi's marriage secretly immediately. She tells Megala that she had already found a mapillai for Sumathi and he is working in Canada and earns one and half lakhs a month. Megala is very happy and agrees and wants to meet the mapillai. Suganthi tells her she will bring him to see her on Friday. Suresh and Thanam walk in and stop and hear the last part of their conversation. Suganthi and Megala see the siblings and change the subject. Megala asks why they had come back and Thanam tells her that she forgot her appt card and had come back to get it and goes in. Suresh walks towards them and Suganthi takes leave. Suresh asks Megala wht they were talking about and is told that Suganthi was telling her about a mapillai for Sumathi and that she hat informed Suganthi no need for that. Suresh goes off singing "Yemathathe Yemathathe, Yemarathe, Yemarathe", and Megala talks to herself that she will definitely yemathu Suresh.

Annamalai is in the office and the Manager walks in and shows him a vocher and check and tells Annamalai that the amount on both documents vary and the bank had sent it back. They now have to issue a new check. He tells Annamalai that Ram had issued the check and that he had been very careless lately. Annamalai tells Manager to leave and that he will take care of the matter. Ram in his room and recalls the incident at the village and is tensed. Annamalai walks in and shows the documents to him and Ram apologizes for his mistake. Annamalai tells him to forget about everything and to be happy and leaves.

Thanam is praying and Suresh walks to her with a file in had and tells her he is going for an interview and is confident that he will get the job. Thanam wishes him luck and tells him to tell Megala before leaving. Suresh goes to Megala and tells her he is attending an interview. Megala wishes him luck and tells him to get a call taxi and goes in to bring him some money. Suresh refuses at first but Megala insists and Thanam tells him it is okay. Sumathi too comes there and wishes him. Suresh leaves and Thanam thanks her MIL for being nice to her and her brother and tells her that once Suresh secures the job the wedding can take place. Megala tells her that there is no hurry as there is a power greater than theirs and it will be decided and that they will just have to wait and see. Thanam is confused and sits down thinking.

Ram at home and looking at some files. He gets a call and a man (the one who tries unsuccessfully to kill Rekha) who asks if he loves his wife Rekha very much. Ram asks who he is and the man tells him that he is the one trying to kill Rekha and that he will kill her tonight. Ram shouts at him and the man just laughs and tells Ram to speak with Rekha as much as he wants because Rekha will not be alive tomorrow and hangs up. Rekha, Annamalai and Radha come to him and ask what is wrong and Ram tells him about the call. Annamalai tells him to check the number to see which area the call has come from. Ram checks and says that it is an outstation call and that the area code is of his village. Annamalai immediately says that it is Masu and tells Ram that he has no choice but to report the matter to the police. Ram agrees and tells his FIL to do as he wishes. Annamalai then calls a Security company and hires security guard for his home and Rekha. He then tells them not to go anywhere and leaves with his wife. THODARUM.

Looks like Pat is either busy or forgotten

Nov. 28 (Wed):

Annamalai pacing his living room (as Roja would say - kooty potta kaludhai!) . Rekha comes there and he asks where Ram went and Rekha tells him that she doesn't know. Radha comes there and says he might have gone to the village to meet his parents. Annamalai says it cannot be as Ram would not do so without telling him. Radha says that they received a called from his father and he might have gone to see him. Annamalai then says he needs to see their lawyer and see about making a complaint against Masilamani. He gets up to go and Ram walks in and tells them that he had to meet a Mr. Aggarwal and take him around as instructed by Annamalai a couple of days ago. Annamalai then remembers about it and tells Ram that he had thought something else had happened. He asks about making a report against Masil but Ram disapproves saying that he doensn't want his mother hurt because of this. Annamalai says he is worried about the safety of his daughter and Ram is worried about his mom. Ram tells his FIL that nothing will happen to his wife and he will not let anything happen to his wife and leaves with Annamalai looking at him.

Megala recalls Sumathi's friend coming there to give her cell to her and thinks that Sumathi is trying to hide her feelings for Suresh and wants to end it. Suganthi comes in and Megala asks to see the Mapillai immediately. Suganthi calls the man and muted dialog. She then tells Megala that he will be there shortly and that Sumathi should not know that the man is the mapillai and it should be kept a secret from her. She then asks for coffee and Megala brings her a cup. The door bell ring and a man (new face), Madhavan enters in suit and all. Comes in and falls at Megala's feet and asks for her blessing and Megala happily give it. They talk and Megala asks if he has any relatives and is told that he is an orphan and Megala tells him not to worry about it. Suganthi asks Megala to bring Sumathi out so that Madhavan can see her. Megala tells Madhavan that Sumathi should not know that he is the mapillai as she is not ready for marriage. Sumathi walks out and Megala introduces him as Suganthi's relative. Sumathi tells her mother that she wants to go see her friend and leaves. Madhavan tells Megala that he likes Sumathi and wants to marry her in 10 days as he will have to leave for Canada. Megala tells him she will inform Suganthi later. After he leaves, Megala thanks Suganthi for bringing a 'Super' mapillai for her daughter and tells her that she will give her anything and Suganthi wants a Kanchipuram Pattu Sari and Megala agrees. Megala decides to teach Thanam and Suresh a lesson after the wedding!

Kasthuing is busy doing prayers and after prayers takes her books and tells her mother that she is leaving for her tuition. Her MIL wants her to wait and brings some ponggal for Bharath. Kasthuri is worried that he might get angry but Jothi tells her to take anyway. Masu too walks in and Kasthuri takes leave. As she walks out, she sees her father and she brings him in and goes in to bring some ponggal for her father. Masu tells Vishu that Kasthuri has to go for her tuition and he has to go to the farm for some work. Vishu tells him that he came there asking Masu a favor. He says that Palani has got a job in a company whose owner is known to Masu and wants to take him to there immediately. Masu tells him that he doesn't know anyone like that but Vishu insists. Kasthuri serves her father the ponggal and asks him to eat. He tells Kasthuri to have some but she declines as she will eat at 'school'. Vishu turns around and has a sad face! THODARUM.

Ego's family conference - creep is missing -
mommy says that creep may have gone to meet
his parents - as ego leaves to see the lawyer
creep enters - ego raises his voice as to
where creep went and creep talks about meeting
Agarwal and taking him around as per ego's
order!!! Ego talks about getting scared every
time - wants to complain against Maasu and
asks creep about it - creep negates as he does
not want his mom to suffer. Ego says that my
daughter may be affected by Maasu but creep is
ready to sacrifice his life and save Rekha...
Rekha follows him upstairs and mommy and daddy
stand like they are hit by some UFO.....

Megala is pacing - has visions of sumathi's friend
telling her about the koil visit to pray for Suresh -
puts 2 and 2 together and confirms that Sumathi loves
Suresh - thinks of Suganthi, think of the devil and
there she comes.... wants Suganthi to bring in the
Canada SIL, asks her to call him - Suganthi picks
up the phone and calls " Madhavanaa??" - muted
convo, Megala wringing hands.... boy to arrive in 5 mins..
Megala wants to seal the alliance with out Sumathi getting
wind of it.Suganthi agrees and is busy thinking about a plan...
coffee arrives..... boy arrives as well ( nichiyam better looking
than that Suresh!!) gets seated..vetti talks, Megala likes
him (appo neengale kalyaanam pannikkalame!!) ( intha track
romba kaduppa irukku, Sumathi odi poidumma, unakkum
nimmathi, engalukkum than!!) Megala tells the boy that
her daughter is not keen to marry and so will introduce him as suganthi's family friend...boy agrees, Sumathi enters..boy
gapes, Megala introduces.. Sumathi kadupaduchufies,
Suganthi butts in..... ( ayyo da, arukkarangappa) Sumathi
leaves... Megala samalichufies..... ( aalai vidungappa, vaathu
than paduthuthunna, ithugal athukku mele!!) 10 naal - back
to canada - wedding before that blah blah.... oldies happy...
Megala vows to deal with bro and sis after the wedding.....

Vaathu in swamy room - (kirukku, karpooram kaattitu,
athu kannile othikkame, swamy kke othi vidarathu!!!

any one can clear my doubt??) leaves for tuition,
athai stops, brings sakkarai pongal for master,
vaathu refuses as master will scold ( dhinam ithu
oru routine, time slot fill panna vera vazhiye illiyaa???)
but finally takes it. Maasu comes and
sends off DIL - Vishu enters - vaathu gloats
" ayyyy" Again vetti talks about pongal.. thingal....
vaathu wants to cut adichufy tuition, athai orders
pongal for Vishu, vaathu runs to bring ( chance
kidaicha, nalla joot viduthu) Maasu tries to scoot
but Vishu stops.. Pazhani has a job interview in
Chennai and sibarisu needed by Maasu...Maasu
asks for the name of officer, Vishu mazhuppal, Maasu
puzzled.... Jothi puts a stop to our misery by
convincing Maasu... Pongal arrives... vaathu is
all set to demonstrate spoon eating but Vishu
saves us from that misery.... Vaathu has a happy
face.. Vishu has a distressed look ( u are not
alone, Vishu, one whole load of us are suffering
in great agony!!!)

Nov. 29 (Thurs):

Vishu takes Masu to the hospital and they wait for the doctor. Masu gets angr with Vishu for bringing him to the doctor but Vishu explains that it is better to check with the doctor so that he can be treated for any health problems. The nurse comes and takes Masu with her and Vishu waits for him. After some time Masu returns and tells Vishu that the nurse had taken him to undergo some tests and now has to wait for the doctor. Masu tells Vishu that the machines used for the tests are probably on loan and when they get elichavayan's like them, they will karakkaran for money. The nurse appears again and tells Vishu that the doctor will see him now and for Masu to wait outside.

Masu meets the doctor and is told that that Masu has a blood clot in his brain and needs surgery immediately. He also says that it is a major operation and risky because Masu is elderly. He wants Vishu to discuss the matter with Masu and his family and decide what to do immediately because delays will only cause problems - if not treated mmediately Masu will become blind soon and put his life in danger. Vishu tells the doctor he will try and persuade Masu to get admitted immediately and leaves. He goes to Masu and tells him the doctors diagnosis but Masu refuses to get admitted. Vishu tells Masu that he will tell Kasthuri and Jothi and then they can decide. Masu warns Vishu not o tell anyone because they will be very worried. Vishu however tells Masu to get treated for the sake of his family. They then leave for home.

The phone rings and Jothi answers. Gaja is on the other line and asks to speak with Kasthuri. Kasthuri gets on the line and they exchange pleasantaries. Gaja asks if their father is there. Kasthuri tells Gaja that both father and FIL have gone to see someone in th city with regards to Palani's new job. Kasthuir goes on to say that the job Palani has now does not pay well and that the new place will be better. Gaja is surprised to hear this and tells Kasthuri that Palani is happy with his job and had just got a raise and will be promoted soon. It is Kasthuri's turn to be surprised and she starts thinking. She tells Gaja she will call back later and hangs up.

She turns around and sees her father and FIL return. Kashturi goes to them and is followed by Jothi who asks what happened. Masu cooks up a story about meeting the man presumable Palani's future boss and that he is a man from their village. Vishu tries to talk but is cut off by Masu, Kasthuri is watching all this and Masu too sees her looking at him. He tells Kasthuri to bring some water and then coffee. Kasthuri tells her FIL that tiffin is ready for them but Masu says they had already eaten and will only have coffee. Masu goes on to talk about the 'man' they met in town. Kasthuri just stares at them and she recalls her conversation with Gaja. Masu quickly tells Vishu to go back despite objections from his wife. He takes Vishu out and Kasthuri looks on - her face full of questions and suspicions. THODARUM.

Pat and roja, take break yar. I watch this episode and since there was no updates yet, i've thought of helping in. Hope its okay with you pat.....

Friday's Update

Scene starts in a temple. A guy is sitting in mappilai get up. Sugandhi is walking up and down at the entrance of the temple. (Looks like they have arranged sumathis's wedding without her knowledt). The mappilai ask his fren to call Suganthi amma and ask her about the poonu. The fren walks towards her and ask tells her the mappilai is calling her. Sumathi goes to him and tells him not to worry, they should be on their way.

Sumathi and her mother arrives at the temple. Sumathi looks in the temple and ask her mother what is going on in the temple and why she had ask Sumathi to wear patte saree. Mother ask her to keep quite and follow her in. Megala holds sumathi and drags her in. Sumadhi looks so confused. As they were going in Sugandhi walks out and ask megala why are they late. Mappilai is already waiting. Sumadhi is shocked and ask her mother wats going on. Megala changes the story and tells its Tirukalyanam today and drags sumadhi in. They walk to where the mappilai is sitting. Aiyar is telling his mantra's. Sumandhi looks at the mapilai and remembers seing him at her house. Mappilai's frens are all happy and smilling. Aiyar ask poonu to seat and Sumathi is shocked. Megala ask her to go and sit as the wedding is more her. More shock for sumathi. Sumathi tells her mother no, she can't agree for this wedding and ask her mother to leave. Megala continues to beg Sumathi and tells her to marry as she will get a better life. Sumathi says no, and starts to run out. Megala runs behind her calling her name. The mapillai ask his frens to catch her. They guys runs and catch her and tells her to go and sit beside their fren. Sumadhi tries to let go the hand but the guys drags and and pulls her towards the manavarai. Tadddaaaaa Suresh cames in. He tells the guys to leave Sumathi's hand. Megala scolds Suresch and ask him why he came there. Megala tells suresh to leave sumadhi. Suresh says no, he is the mapilai for sumathi. He threatens megala that he will make a police report. Megala ignores him and ask the mapiilai to tie the thali on Sumathi. The mappilai gets up and pulls sumadhi's hand. Just then Thanam walks in and says stop. Megala and Sugandhi is shocked to see Thanam. Sugandhi looks more scared now. Sumathi is happy to see thanam. Megala ask her if she came to stop the wedding. Thanam says no, dat person wants to stop the wedding and points at a lady carrying a baby. The mappilai looks shocked seing the lady. Thanam tells megala that this mapilai had already has a baby. This is his wife and dats his baby. The mappilai denies it. Sugandhi ask megala not to believe thanam. Suresh tells megala he never went to canada. He just got back from jail. Sugandhi tries to sneak away. Thananm catches her and ask her to wait. Thanam puts the baby down and ask the guy to cross the baby and promise. Poor baby, but it looks so cute with the smile. The mappilai gets sad and carries the baby. Suresh ask him to get married to the lady. Megala is standing there shocked and confused. Megala bless the couple. Sumathi goes to thanam and ask sorry. She is thankfull that Thanam had saved her life. Thanam ask her not to worry.

At home sumathi is leaning on Thanam and still crying. Her brother walks up and down and scolds his mother. If only suresh does not came with that girl, wat would have happen to Sumadhi's life. He tells his mum if she don't like suresh, just let him know. Brother scolds sumathi. Mother tells him that Sumathi does not know anyting about the marriage. Megala realise her mistake. Son keeps on advising his mother. Megala really looks sad and has tears in her eyes. Megala says sorry. Thanam ask her husband not to scold megala and takes sumadhi in. Son tells megala not to rush anything about the wedding. Megala says okay and gives green signal for sumadhi's wedding indirectly. Suresh looks happy.

Jothi is at the kitchen. Masilamani in the room sleeping. (Some sad background sound behind). Jothis takes coffee in for masilamani. She tries to wake him up. (Background sound very suspensing.) Jothi tells to herself her husband always will get up at 5 am and ask for coffee. Today he is still fast asleep. She calls his name and then turns masilamani and saw blood in his mouth. He is not responding to Jothi. Kasturi cames in and she too tries to wake him wake calling him mama mama. Thodarum.

Dec 3 (Mon):

Continued from Friday - It was all Jothi's dream. Jothi wakes up screaming and kasthuri wakes up and asks her MIL what is wrong. Jothi tells her about her dream and they walk out of the room and see Masu walking towards them. Jothi asks her if he is alright and Masu tells her he is okay and tells Kasthuri to take Jothi to bed. Kasthuri asks Jothi to go back to bed and takes her in but Jothi tells her to go to sleep first and goes to the prayer room. She cries to goddess Mariamma and tells her to protect her husband as he is the only one for her and Kasthuri.

Next day, Masu walks and starts to cough severely again and gets a headache. He walks a distance and sits down and coughs again and Bharath who comes there sees him and asks what happened. As usual Masu tries to talk his way out but Jothi and Kashturi comes there and they all force Masu to the hospital.

Ram gets out of the shower and his cell rings. He sees the number and angrily answers it. It is no other than the sotha hired hand who laughs at Ram and asks if he is scared. Ram yells at him saying that he is not afraid and if he is a man should come forward rather talking over the phone. The man then asks if he had guarded his wife the night before and tells Ram that Rekha should have died by now because he had poisoned their breakfast. Ram runs to the dining and pushes Rekha's hand away saying the food is poisoned. Annamalai wants to know what is going on and Ram tells him about the call and that the man is still on the line. Annamalai also shouts at the man but the man says he will not kill his family immedately because his 'elder' wants to torture them first before finishing off one by one. The man then asks for Ram and tells Ram if he wants to know who his 'elder' is, he will have to come to a place he tells him and can only bring Ganesh and no one else otherwise, he will be a dead man. Ram tells him he will and hangs up. He tells Annamalai that they will know who the 'elder' is that evening and he is very confident that it is his father, Masu.

Jothi and Kasthuri take Masu to the hospital bed and tells him to rest. Bharath comes there and tells them about the blood clot in Masu's brain and that he has to undergo surgery in 4 days time. Jothi is shocked and Masu tries to maluppu but is unssuccessful. Kasthuri and Jothi tell Masu he will have to undergo the surgery and finally he agrees but tells Bharath that Kasthuri's education must not be stopped or interrupted and Bharath agrees. Masu takes out some cash and gives to Bharath for settlement of bills but Bharath tells him no need as he has enough. Masu tells Jothi that he will not die until he has realized his dream - to see Kasthuri succeed. He tells Jothi and Kasthuri to go home. THODARUM.

Dec 4(Tues):

Masu in the hospital. Kasthuri and Jothi are with him. Masu tries to convince them there is nothing seriously wrong with him. Jothi tells Kasthuri to meet with the doctor and ask about Masu's illness. Masu stops Kasthuri but Jothi insists. Masu starts coughing and both women are more worried.

Ganesh in his house and hears a knock on the door. Opens the door and is surprised/shocked to see Ram. He pinches himself to make sure he is not halucinating, and asks what Ram wants. Ram tells him he wants to talk and Ganesh invites him in and tells Ramt o talk. Ram tells him that he is confident that his father is responsible for the threat on Rekha's life. Ganesh gets angry and tells Ram that the only sin Masu has ever commited is to get Ram as his son, bring him up and educate him. Ram says it is the duty of the parents to educate the children and if he is trying to kill his wife, he will not stand aside and allow it. He tells Ganesh that he trusts Kasthuri and his father too much and that is blinding him and tells him that being educated he should think on both sides. Ganesh tells Ram the same thing. He says, to Ram only Rekha and her father are good people and everyone else is evil. Ram tells him about the call he received the day before and how the man said an 'elder' person is responsible and will reveal to Ram if Ram goes to meet him. Ram tells Ganesh that after he has proved his father's guilt will have to take him because everything that has happened must have been known to him. Ganesh tells him to look for the real culprit instead of showing anger elsewhere. Ram walks out and Ganesh tells him to contact him if he or Rekha are in danger. Ram thanks Ganesh and leaves.

Vishu goes to the hospital and visits Masu. Vishu asks if the doctor has said anything and Masu says the usual. Masu is happy to see Vishu and tells him to stay with him until he is discharged. He tells Vishu that there is a lot of fruit juice and wants Vishu to drink all of it. Masu complaints to Vishu that both Kasthuri and Jothi are worried about his surgery and tells Vishu to tell them no to worry. Jothi leaves to go buy medication. After she leaves, Masu cries to Vishu and tells him that he knows that it is a major surgery and doesn't want the ladies know about it. Vishu consoles him and tells him to stop crying.

Jothi is all dresses up and is praying. After prayers goes to her husbnad and tells him to wait while she brings some thosai. Masu tells her he is not hungry. Masu asks Jothi why whe is looking at him and Jothi tells him that it is their wedding anniversay. Masu asks if that is the reason for special prayers. Jothi tells him that she would have liked to do prayers with him. Masu tells her God is in a hungry person and if we feed him, we will see god and so on. Jothi tells him that he remembers everything but their wedding anniversary. Masu tells her that it is not so and that he had just returned from distributing food. Jothi then takes blessing from her husband. Masu takes out at jewelery box, opens it and takes a ring and puts on her finger. Jothi is very happy - ALL THIS IS FLASHBACK! Jothi looks at the ring and cries, thinking about her husband in the hospiral. Kasthuri comes to her and tells her not to cry and worry as everything will be alright. She tells her MIL that it is time to visit her FIL and that food is ready. She tells Jothi to look brave infront of her FIL and to believe in God and that God will take care of everything.

Vishu feeding Masu fruits at the hospital. They start joking and laugh but Masu begins to cough again. Bharath comes visiting and Masu introduces him to Vishu as Kasthuri's teacher. Vishu is very grateful to Bharath for his deed. Masu says since Bharath knows about him and his health, he wants Bharath to promise him something. THODARUM.

Wednesday update...

Visu ask Bharat to have a sit. Masulamani ask Bharat to promise something. If at all anyting happen to him during the operation, Bharat must make his dreams came true. Bharat must make kasthuri to achieve all her dreams and goals. He must make everyone look high at Kasturi. Ram must realise this also. Bharat is sad listening to all this. Masi keeps saying that Kasthuri must prove to the society that even if husband cheats their wifes, these ladys can still carry on with their life. Bharat promises Masi that his dream will came true. All this is watched by visu in shocked. Bharat then leaves. Visu goes to Masi and thanks him for taking care of Kasturi.

Ram and ganesh waiting somewhere. Looks like they are waiting for the caller. The caller calls Ram and Ram ask him where he is. The caller ask him to came towards infront, and he will be there. Ram and ganesh runs towards there but the guy is not there. Ram scolds him in the phone. The caller laughs and makes Ram to look around. Ram and ganesh runs around the place like mad. Looks like its a park. The guy is totally new. Ram is getting annoyed again. The caller cuts the call. Ram and ganesh splits to look for him. Both Ram and ganesh mets back but could not fine the guy. They keep on walking. The one voice calls ?ajini uncle, im here? Ram and ganesh saw the guy and runs towards him but he manage to disappear again. Ram calls him back and ask why is he making him run around and who is the old man. The guy makes them came to another place. For almost 10 mins in was cat mouse chase. Then they found him but he takes his motorbike, tells Ram the old man is admitted in the hospital and try catch him and leaves the place. At the same time Rekha dad arrives there. He ask Ram what happen. Rekha dad said someone called him and ask him to came here as Ram has fainted. Ram tells FIL what happen and then both leaves the place. Ganesh is angry as Ram is still blaming his father.

Jothi and Kasturi brings in food for Masi. Visu is also sitting there. Some happy conversation takes place. Jothi says that she had called their daughter and she will came her evening. Masi scolds her for telling the daughter. Jothi say its our duty to inform our kids. Masi becames angry and ask her if she had inform Ram too. Jeothi says no. Masi is soooo angry and Visu tries to calm him down. Masi says even if he dies, Ram must not came here. Kasturi looks sad. Later his daughter cames in to visit. Masi sister makes a big drama about being sad. Both mother and son was acting infront of Masi. Masi ask his SIL how his business. Before he can answer, the mother says his business has lost. Masi daughter is shocked. Her father tells them not to worry and ask Jeothi to give money to her. Then the sister started to insult about Kasturi's luck infront of Visu. Masi scolds her. Bagiyam keeps on talking. They will shut her up. Masi then tells Bagiyam to take money from Jeothi. Masi daughter advises her father to take medicine regular and to take care of his health. Thodarum

Dec 6 (Thurs)

Jothi and Vishu met the doctor and discuss about Masu's condition. Doctor tells them that the surgery must be done the next day and not to delay any longer as it will be dangerous for him as his condition is very serious. The doctor also tells them to ask his loved ones to come see him before the surgery. Jothi is all tears and Vishu takes her out. They meet Kasthuri outside and Jothi tells her to make a call for her to Ram and tell him to come immediately. Kasthuri dials Ram's number and but Kasthuri asks how can she. Kasthuri asks her MIL what the doctor said and Jothi tells her that Ram needs to see his father one last time. Kasthuri dials Ram's number and is answered by Rekha. Kasthuri passes the phone to Jothi and tells her that Rekha is on the line and that she is unable to talk. Jothi tells her to hang up and call Ganesh and inform him. Kasthuri calls Ram and tells him about her FIL's surgery and tells him to ask Ram to come visit his father at least once. Ganesh asks her to tell Jothi not to worry and that he will somehow bring Ram there and hangs up.

Doctor checks on Masu and tells the nurse to give an injection and also tells them to be brave and that everything will be alright and leaves. Nurse gives him the injection as instructed and leaves. Masu complaints to Vishu about this and asks where Jothi and Kasthuri is. He then asks who they are calling and when Vishu don't answer, says he knows whom. Jothi walks in and he stops her asking who she went to call. Jothi stammers but Masu gets angry and shouts at her. Vishu tries to calm him down but Masu tells him that Ram should not see him and if he sees Ram he will definitely die. Jothi cries again.

Ganesh goes to Annamalai's house and asks for Ram. Annamalai asks what it is about but Ganesh tells him he will only tell Ram. Ram comes there and Ganes tells him about Masu's condition and tells him to follow him. Annamalai tells Ram not to believe as it must be a lie to allure Ram back. Ganesh tells him that only people like will lie for anything and tells Ram to at least see his father once. Ram just stands there like a stone. Ganesh gets angry and tells him that he is trying to get a sone visit his father but Annamalai is not alowing him. Annamalai tells Ganesh not to talk bad about rich people and if he give his wealth to him will he refuse. Ganesh tells Annamalai to keep his wealth because even to drink water in his house is a sin. He tells Ram not to forget that he too has a son and one day this will definitely happen to him and only then he will know the pain and leaves. Ram tells him to wait and then tells his FIL that although he know that this is a lie, he wants to go there and tell them that he is only Rekha's husband and not his father's son and leaves with Ganesh.

Jothi is getting some medication and both Ram and Ganesh arrive. Ganesh asks Jothi how Masu is and Jothi is sad that Ram did not ask about her husband. Rams he has come to see his father only and walk towards the room. Jothi stops Ram and tells him that he has no right to see his father. Ram asks why, and Jothi said that it is because of what Ram did to his father and Kasthuri is what made him sick. She then tells Ganehs about Masu's illness and cries to him. Ram says that it is all because of his father's sins. THODARUM.
