Rajsekar arrives at this wood workshop. Everyone greet him and the shop owner takes him inside to Ravi, the friend of Vasu, who had helped Raj with his plans to split Vasu and Reva. The guy had been beaten badly, and he pleads Raj to let him go. Raj questions why he andar balty adiching even after taking the money from him and wonders if he took money from Selvam too nnu. Raj further questions why he didn't go out of town, as per his instructions. Ravi denies taking any money from Selvam and adds he felt their plan was going to work in a day or two, so he decided to hide within the town itself. Raj scolds him and wonders how he sodapufied the plan. Ravi then tells him what happened last night....
flashback...
He had gone to a different town to get his share of liquor for the day during the night time (to avoid being caught). To come back, he stops an auto which happens to be Shiva's. Ravi gets in and asks him to go Arumbakkam. Suddenly, Ravi gets a call from Ranjini who inquires where he is. Ravi says he had gone to water beat. Ranjini scolds him for going out like this since he has a great chance of being caught. Ravi fumes in anger and adds both of them were hired by Rajasekar to split Vasu and Revathi. And as per Rajsekar's plans, tonight everything will work out, with Rajeskar bringing Reva to Vasu's house and proving Reva that Vasu is married to Ranjini through various accounts, from the ration card to the land lord. Shiva is shocked hearing this.... and continues to listen. So Ravi thimiraa tells Ranjini, with everything working out well, why should he worry. After all he doesn't even care for his best friend Vasu... then why should he be worried about anyone. Ranjini just listens till Ravi hangs up.
Ravi continues to polambufy who is she to instruct him. A shocked Shiva stops the auto and goes aside to make a quick call to Selvam and asks him to stay at the shed with the boys. Soon Shiva arrives with that Ravi guy, and gets Rangan and Kuppa (the worker boys) to pour water on Ravi to theliyavaiking his bothai. Selvam is confused at seeing Shiva's behavior and questions why he brought Vasu's best friend. Shiva soon informs him... and then asks Rangan to bring Ravi over.
At first Ravi malupufies... but with a few dose from Shiva and Kuppa, he olarufy the truth about how he was hired by Raj to split Vasu and Reva.. by bringing Ranjini in and all. Selvam is shocked. He wants to act fast by bringing this guy to their house.... but before that he instructs Ravi to say the story differently!
Back to present.....
Raj is surprised. Ravi says this is what happened last night and he never andar balty adiching. He begs Raj to let him go. The wood workshop owner wants to pottu thalling Ravi and also our kai paathufy Selvam, since he might have done that to blackmail Raj later on. But Raj scolds the owner saying Selvam is not this type of a guy... he is a very honest man (wow.. Selvam... Raj kitta irunthu nalla peyar you have paa š). Raj asks them to let Ravi go and wonders why Selvam saved his name from all this.
At the shed, Selvam is working... suddenly he sees Raj come. Selvam greets him with a stern face.. and starts talking without letting Raj say a word. Selvam speaks... "I'm aware of your plans. You tried to split Vasu and Revathi... but since we caught Ravi and got the truth out of him, I'm sure you guys probably beat him to death and found out how I asked him to twist the story to keep your name safe. And now you're here to find out why I kept your name clear from all this.... am i right?" Raj says yes. Selvam goes onto explain that Reva and him just rekindled their father - daughter relationship. By letting the truth out, that relationship would be broken, and Reva would never be able to forgive him. Furthermore, his wife also had a heart attack.... and eppaiyum illama.. he came down for her to invite Reva. So if she also finds out things would be bad. So to keep his family there with him, he hid everything from them. But selvam then warns Raj that this is the last time he can do such a thing. If he ever tries to cause trouble.. his hands have always lifted spanner... it wouldn't take him much to deal with Raj nnu.... (Wow.. Selvam ulle oru anniyan irukaaru paa š... but man enna thaan iruthaalum.. Selvam wants Reva to have a good relationship with her bady father.. but what about his wife Archu??? )
Raj just watches blankly and leaves..
Bhaygam arrives on a call taxi along with the marriage broker. He takes her inside a very big house and tells her this is her sambathi's house (uh oh... another peraasai pudicha manushi š..) Bhagyam watches with awe....

Tuesday, 8th December update
Bags sees round the house and probably gets wild dreams too. The grooms parents comes out and introduce themselves. Bags are happy, they do say Bags may wonder why such a wealthy family wants a middleclass girl as their DIL and why instead of coming over to the brides house, they invited her over there? Well, there is a reason behind that which he will reveal very soon. Before he can talk further his sons comes down in a very very drunk state and send away the servant to get him more quarter. He hardly can stand on his own foot, Bags are stunned while the parents are thiru thiru muzhicufies. The father says they have everything, they educated their son on a good school, made him study MBA but somewhere something went wrong as his got this bad habit. They have tried to reform him but its useless so that's why they think a girl may change into a better person. They may get rich girls as their DIL but none of them would have patience like a girl from middle class family. that's why they liked her daughter, they heard she is studying too. He doesn't think his son will ever be able to take over and handle the family business so he will hand over the business to his daughter in law and the mother too says she will hand over the house job to her daughter in law and take rest. Bags is very angry and doesn't say a word. They hope Bags will think about it and don't think wrong about them. They do have hopes her daughter will reform their drunkard son and be a good DIL, if she is interested they can go ahead otherwise they do understand. Bags replies she will think about it and leaves. (hmm...i am sure this money minded lady will marry off Rani to that drunkard...poor girl..her dad is a drunkard and now her mother will push her into a big hole knowing it wont be any nice journey I think she may agree as Selvam told them he is only staying there co of his sister so she may want him to move out so for thats ake agre? what do u guys thinks?)
Revs waits for Vasu at his office and sees Vasu gets scolded by the manager for sending over a wrong file to auditing. It seems Vasu was not at fault as the other guy sent the wrong file but managed keep him as responsible for that and humiliated him in front the whole office. This irks Revs who rush in and scold the manager for not having any manners. If one of his staff made a mistake he can warn them but not humiliated them like this. doesn't he even understand that? Manger is pissed off on Revs so Vasu takes her out and explains his situation. He likes the MD who have offered to help him so he doesn't want to bring small issues like this to him and make him think he is not able to handle small issues like this. He sends back Revs as he has to correct the mistake.

Archu tells Selvam that Bhagyam has a lot of money now.. Selvam refuses to believe.. Archu says athai gave 5000rs each as loan for kala akka and Dhanam akka.. She paid the TV due in single shot.. Not only that she has enough money for Rani's marriage too.. She had called the broker home and asked him to find a good groom.. she told the broker that she can put 20 sovereigns of gold buy a bike for the groom and also conduct the marriage in a grand way.. From where do you think she raised this much money.. After she stole the money for Vasu's job .. she is not visiting the magalir kuzhu also.. Selvam says forget about the source of money.. Why would she think about Rani's marriage now.. Rani has yet not completed her studies.. what is the hurry.. Archu says you told the other day that you will vacate this home the moment she gets married. So athai wants to chase us out at the earliest.. Selvam is confuses.. Archu asks him to freshen.. he goes to wash area and Rani too comes there to pick dried clothes.. Selvam asks her if her marriage plans are on cards.. Bhagyam decides to eavesdrop.. Rani laugh and says how can it be possible I am still studying .. moreover my marriage without your knowledge and consent is not possible.. Selvam says Archu was saying that broker had come home and mom has asked him to go ahead looking for prospective grooms. Bhagyam frowns.. Night time Sivagami and Sivaraman are about to hit the bed.. Sivagami calls out Priya for helping her with her medicines.. No response form Priya.. Priya says anni I don't believe what you are saying.. Goutham is a good guy. Jeyanthy says I am not against love marriages since I loved and married your brother.. I supported you when I saw you flirting with him.. but I did some visaranai about that guy and got to know that he is a drug addict and has many girlfriends.. Vasu gets ready to work.. Revathy says why so early.. Vasu says that guy whom you saw yesterday at office will swallow me alive if something goes wrong in auditing.. I need to hurry up so that everything moves smoothly.. Revathy says I have a request I want to continue my studies.. only one semester is pending.. If I finish it I will become a graduate and will easily get a good job.. Vasu says you studies stopped abruptly coz of me.. So I would be glad if you continue it.. but working is not required.. I will take care of you.. Revathy says I saw you struggling to earn money to raise your standards and stand high in front of my dad.. You have become a responsible husband.. So I too need to be a responsible wife. I have deiced to share your burden.. after some cootchi cooing.. Vasu leaves.. at the thinai.. Poona asks him are you leaving to work.. Vasu says Yes.. Did you have your breakfast.. Poonga says Yes. Vasu says that is the only job for you and leavesā¦ Bhagyam sees Vasu going out.. She goes into her room and gives a silk saree to Rani and asks her to wear it.. Rani says I don't wear saree to college.. Bhagyam just walks out without replying.. She comes to thinai and asks her hubby if he has any plans of going out.. Poonga says no.. it is very hot.. You switch on eth new fan.. I am going to happily sleep.. Bhagyam says the newly married couple in our relation have come to chengalpet.. Go and meet them and come back.. Poonga says when I called u for attending the marriage.. you refused saying waste of money.. No why meet them.. Bhagyam all relatives are calling me up and teasing me.. So here take 200rs and go and meet them.. Poonga's eyes pop out seeing so much of money..

Friday 11th December update
Priya and Gowtham stares at each other, they are about confess to each other about their love when the police jeep arrives there. Inspector finds drugs on Gowthams bike, everyone is stunned. Gowtham is confused and scared while Priya has a disgusted face. They arrest him, he repeatedly says it doesn't belong to him and neither do he have any idea how it landed up there. Police are not interested to hear out his version and takes him away in the jeep. He turns back and tries to signals Priya he is innocent while she just drops the rose and card and walk upon it. š
Bags returns home from the temple and is surprised to see the huge welcome Rani gives her. She ask whether her mother want a cup of coffee? Bags wonder what happened, why this sudden change? Earlier in the morning she made a big galatta but now she is very cool and calm. She even prayed to the God to see a miracle in her daughters behaviour. Rani just replies, after all your plan will fail as this wedding wont happened at the end and leaves. š
Bags basically argues with everyone and finally says her words and wishes counts more than anyone else, as this is a rich family and it's a one time opportunity to get a luck like this so she wont let anyone mess up this great luck for her daughters life and happiness.
