Vani,

I really had felt very uncomfortable to go page by page to search for the updates btw the discussions.. this two page idea was good for those who search only for updates...

but when ppl want to read the update and discuss it suda suda, it may a restricting to go to another thread.. yosichu paatha, few who want to comment may also drop that idea i think...

If u ppl are not comfortable with the two thread system, i suggest y can't we do all the updates in the first page by editing..

R give a link to every updates in the first page..

Yes, all the updates can be done in the first page by reserving five posts for updates. This way people can read all the updates in the first page and comments in the following pages!😃 Good suggestion Arjun!👏

i find this point bit funny becoz the pages with lot of screenshots and members having big size signatures occupying half of the screen opening without any problem. infact its not the updates which makes the page load slower its the images which makes the page slower.

Well...your suggestion is really convincing..and i guess, it may satisfy all, as updates can be easily found and members like me, don't have to go for another thread for comments. I'm really welcoming this suggesion dear👏

Isaitamil, iaccept that images take tiem to load.. but avatars and siggies are craetions by IFians.. its a part of IF..

I like Arjun_Meena's idea about reserving the first page of the thread for updates. Like Vani, I too don't like having two separate threads, and find it a bit of a hassle keeping up.
@ Atina, I know you have posted these figures up, but if you look at the posts in this week's thread, a lot of them are about the new layout rather than TMS itself. I agree with Vani, the whole 'feel' of it is not so family-like any more!
It's not a personal attack on you, it's just a point of view. I hope you can take it into consideration and view it in a positive way, rather than see us who oppose it, as trouble makers. In my opinion, A_M's idea seems like an ideal compromise.

Sorry if I offended anyone - certainly was not my intention!
