A couple of seconds and she pushed him away angrily and without a caution, she slapped him."What were you thinking? This is not how I wanted my first kiss! Not in...not in..." looking around her at the moon beam that came from the window and the clatter of the after-rain drops and the monsoon breeze carrying in the sweet smell of roses and an handsome man who loved her. This was much better than what she had ever dreamt of, "...not when I was unsure..."He just smiled when she referred to this as their 'first kiss'.Thulasi looked up to him, "I'm not Thulasi. Tamizh. I have never had the opportunity to experience the love of a family. I don't know where I as born. I was brought up in an orphanage. Then one fine day, a NRI couple decide to adopt me and take me to America. There after 2 years, they died in a car accident leaving me a huge fortune. I was at foster homes for the money I had and I studied there. Kanagu was a brother from one such home. Deepa and Kalyani, my friends and the company that was all my life. I never thought about marriage. For me, life is about earning money in a constructive way and providing for the rightfully needy. You...you won't fit in my world. When you want to rest yourself in some shoulders that would give peace. I want to be there with you lending my shoulders. I want to grow old with you. I want to be by your side. A wife is not about doing chores and not having a career. In fact your career sounds better than mine. Do you think there will be a job for me there?" She smiled at him, her glow was back, her charm was back, "I want to be your husband, not master. I want to share my life and love with you. Do you believe me? Do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?"She stood silent not even facing him. He had tried his best. Disappointed he turned away to go. He stopped short and turned to face her again, "Nalaiku epdiyavuthu we should go back to the city. I actually came here to ask for my shirt. Nalaikum patti intha shirt a patha prechana aidum. So please..." Thulasi looked down at the shirt she was wearing as Tamizh looked away. Thulasi walked towards him and patted his shoulders, "Shirt nalla prechana varuma? Nan samalichikiren. En purushan shirt a nan podurathila ena thappunu ketukiren ippo neenga ponga.""Seri...huh?...ai, Thulasi. Ena sona?" turning to look at her. She was smiling at his confused face, "Thulasi?". She just nodded and said yes with her eyes, "Thulasi ya vida matenga pola.""Epdi vida mudiyum kuttima?" taking a step closer and putting her hair behind her ears. "Kuttimava? En pera thavira vera elam kupuduvenga pola iruku?""Ein kuttima pidikaliya?" "Hum...nala thaan iruku."He took her hand inbetween his hands, "I love you kuttima. Romba bayanthen. I will always be there for you.""I don't know why but I believe you." looking back into his eyes."Thank you kuttima"She just smiled, "Seri nga. Go and sleep. Nalaiku pattita vishayatha sollitu kelambidalam.""Uhum""Ena?""Illa...""Ena?""Illa...Innaiku kalayala thaan namaku kalayanam achu...apdina...""Apdina?""Apdina...""Aha...enga suthi enga varenganu theriyuthu. Both of them laughed and Tamizh looked up to her to find her smiling looking away. She looked beautiful than ever with the golden glow of the night lamp from one side and the moon beam on the other.He collected the rain drops from the window and sprinkled on her face. She closed her eyes with a jerk and licked the raindrops off her lip. He held her cheeks and made her look at him rubbing off the drops on her eye lids. She held his hands and both of them looked into each-other's eyes searching for something. He kissed her forehead and whispered, "I love you." She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck as he slid his arms around her waist and pulled her close. "I know",she whispered back as she kissed him; her lips soft and tender on his. She switched off the night lamp behind his back as she whispered into his ears, "Remind me what happened the other day."

wonderful gisel,,what to say--words cant normally do it, but u hv a way with them...the whole scenario that u built, like shamz said, can imagine fully well and in keeping with their character n roles...esp T telling TA, neengale ninache kooda reminds me of the famous restaurant scene with similar lines...the small exchange abt saree vs. western also super...

def u hv an alternate or side career with yr writing...someday our own Rowling, magical writing but no wizardry needed!
