I'm a little disappointed in TA. Like Thuls said, if he [TA] could remember their first meeting, this should have been engraved into his memory. Instead, he casually mentions that he forgot it due to stress. I think he fails to remember that Thuls is under worse stress (i.e. "living" with GW) and she still managed to remember. But I'll forgive him on this because of two reasons.
-1.Being around even Psycho's breath makes bad things happen to good people (like Thuls & Nit as well as TA)
-2. Thuls was happy, so why bother staying mad at TA?
Like many of you guys have stated, I too abhor the use of "kuttipa". I don't know whether its the awkward pronunciation or the strong resemblance to "bujipa" which really gets to me more. Nonetheless, I willing to let it slide because Thuls really seems to like it (though I prefer "Dai TA"). She was happy after such a long time, and there was no GW/Psycho today either. All in all, very enjoyable.
Thuls has finally got a job👏! This is something we viewers have actively encouraged. It gives Thuls a duel opportunity to earn & learn, while also providing an escape from GW's sewage mouth. First day into the job and she has already proved she is TA's wife. Chatting with both the salesgirls and Namashivayam showed that no matter who the person may be, she is willing to let them make a first impression on her.
She also revealed that she isn't as hot headed as her husband and is perfectly willing to listen (and think) before speaking. As Namashivayam quickly realized, Thuls is no push over. She can call people out and be completely nice about it. Where TA would raise his voice and argue, Thuls would rather manipulate people into seeing her way or at least strike up a compromise. Besides, Sudha trusts Thuls way MORE than TA. Hopefully this will act in Thuls's favour and be her leverage against snooping, conniving Namashivayam.
However, with all great power comes great responsibility. Thuls has to be careful and not let the store loss any customers. In fact she has to work twice as hard to gain new customers and justify her position. If not, GW will just start sprouting her "dhosham" nonsense again. Only this time, neither TA or Sudha/Puvi will be able to take her side and defend her.
Prabha's arguments to TPS was weak, but he definitely established an emotional bond. By asking TPS for her permission to cal her "amma", he really struck a chord within TPS (who also has a son around his age). Even though he appealed to TPS the exact same way Dr.Lax had, Prabha had a genuine interest in forging peace between the two families, something that was clearly working in changing TPS's heart.
Prabha's appeal was effective to the point that it even scared the normally infallible Dharman into hitting him. Dharman's change from being somewhat humorous and totally annoying to literally all out assaulting Prabha really seemed to shock TPS. For the first time, I think she felt a twinge of sympathy for Prabha. But as usual none of the emotion amounted to anything because of (as usual) the "Great" Bhuvana's entrance.
Granted her defence of Prabha was commendable, when you take into account she single-handedly took on a fuming Dharman for the sake of her son. Yet that pales when compared to the insults she threw needlessly at TPS. Bhuvana, along with Dharman, managed to wreck what ever thoughts TPS held (as her attention was drawn back to revenge). However, this may be the beginning of Praba's journey to find his sister (i.e. Thuls). If TPS is going to reveal that information to anyone, it will probably reach him quickly.
Lav and Nits, repetitive. Nits has already been portrayed as a guy who can't make up his own mind and constantly needs someone to tell him what to do (either his parents or his wife). So, let him reap what he sows. I care not (especially after his blatant betrayal to Thuls😡). If he's going to be a fool, not even God can help him.
Anyways, hope to see more good scenes in the promo😊!
