It had been hours since TA had left the police station. He had been wandering around showing random strangers Thulasi's picture and asking if anyone had seen any sign of her anywhere. It was now late at night, but he didn't want to take a break, he couldn't. TA wondered how he had let things get so bad.

Less than two days ago, Thulasi had disappeared the first time only to be found again by the end of the night. From that time TA promised himself he would never let her go and now she had gone missing once again and this time, she was in terrible danger and he had no way of finding her. TA should've seen it coming with Charu. Her behaviour was always quite strange as she tried so hard to stay in his life even after he had gotten married. It wasn't that of a typical girl who was cheated. TA dismissed her behaviour as one of true kindness or maybe it was just his way trying to amend his guilty conscious for hurting her.

TA felt guilty as he thought if he had just been brave enough to tell his mother that he was not interested in a marriage with anyone else but this girl he had fallen in love with it, it would have saved Charu from her condition and Thulasi from this danger.
