Hey guys,

I posted this topic because I was really excited for this 100th episode but after watching it, I was pretty disappointed. I think the main issue was that the audience pretty much knew all the major things that took place in this episode long before it aired. There was nothing surprising, unexpected, amazing, or awesome about it in my opinion. I liked a few things about this episode - Kat and Stefan's interactions, Kat and Nadia scene, Rebekah looking so so pretty with that dazzling smile of hers (girl crush), and the Defan scene at the end. But other than that, there was nothing to hold my interest. What did you guys think? Did you like the 100th episode or did you think it was a bust?

Like u said there was nothing surprising, we knew evrythng in advanve.,dt was major drwabck...

but it was really good to c vicki,jenna,Ric ..

the part i lvd the most was stefan and katherine.lvd the scene where he goes in her mind and erases all the bad memories .

the second best thing was almost everyone prominent in tvd till now was there. good to see alaric back bu yeah i am a bit glad that katherine didn't die & once again she stayed true to her character.

this was a good episode but it made me pretty mad :/ I was so happy, I thought Katherine was finally being redeemed and I actually, for the first time, felt bad for her and was happy that they were giving her such a beautiful and peaceful goodbye. But NOPE -_- they couldn't just let her have a beautiful goodbye, of course not. Now she's going to pretend she's Elena, which we've already seen before, and she's going to break Damon's heart and fool around with Stefan as well. I hope it doesn't take too long for them to figure out it's actually Katherine :/ now I feel like all the redeeming qualities about Katherine that were shown in this episode, have all been kind of ripped away and I really don't care for her much after this :/

BTW: NADIA proved she is like her mom..manipulating ppl to have her way...bitch like her mom😡
I wish they had given more Klaroline, it was great but I just feel like it was more of a "goodbye" hookup, rather than a "hello" hookup :(
Wish they had let Katherine have that beautiful death,

wish they had gotten Delena back together, mehhh :(
It was an awesome episode, though :)

i didn't know about any of the episode spoilers except for Klaus showing up!

The episode was good, I like it. The ending sucked big time! I was really hoping that finally Kat can be redeemed in some way for all the awful things she has done all these years!! Stefan was so good to her, i wonder how he will react after knowing the truth!

It was so nice to see Vicky, Jenna, Alaric 😛 and Kalus!

I so miss Damon & Alaric's bromance!

The other disappointing this was Klaus and Caroline hook up! I was waiting for them to kiss since last season finale but the way in which their scene progressed it seemed rushed and forced!

I felt something missing! There was no longing or excitement in it! So wished they had done that scene in a better manner!

The good:

Damon Salvatore enjoying Kats death. Oh! Damon! How I have missed you🤗. He was looking extra hot during this episode

All the favs returning including Alaric🥺

I am disappointed with the 100 th episode . There are some amazing moments but so many disappointments too .

First the things i liked the toast scene it was great . Then the arrival of rebekkah was superb i know klaus will make an appearance but was happy with all the originals return .

The rest not so much . Klaroine scene was rushed it took out the epicNess in there relationship . Stefan and Katherine scenes would have been great if Katherine really died but now i feel like all those scenes were just fillers . Because ultimately the person is alive . So the epic goodbye has served no purpose at all .

Alaric was a pleasant surprise . Jenna and john too but vicky i never felt any attachment to the character so not so much .

i would have loved if elijah really did make an appearance but not as a hallucination . Loved defan scenes . Hated the constant comparisons between Damon and stefan . Like stefan will go into her mind to give peace while Damon would do the same to hurt a dying person further . Just my opinion .

I was disappointed too...a part of me was happy since all my favourite characters were there but other part was just not satisfied...may be because they tried to pull on all the things we ever wanted...i was so excited n m happy to see them all but something was missing...I don't know..may be the episode was too short for me or so many things were happening in that one single episode...

But there were some real TVD moments too..

Klaus-Caroline scene - gosh we so waited for this moment and it was too good...OMG his smile... n how Caroline smiled back.. i was screaming to see KLAROLINE together...they can't make Klaus leave mystic falls after this.

Damon-Stefan scene- that Salvatore brothers talk was one of the best things...i sooo loved them in that scene...for the first time Stefan admitting Damon needs to fix this Delena issue n Damon's confession about being selfless...their sweet little brothers moment.

Rebekkah Mikaelson never looked this beautiful to me...may be it was the demand or need which made that scene beautiful...i wasn't expecting her when Klaus mentioned about the rescuer...but that first sight of her n i was soo happy.

The end scene where everyone esp. my personal fav Ric (ohh i wish they had showed some Damon-Ric moment where Damon could see Ric 😔 😔 ) showed up was very nice..the background music n everything.

The awkwardness between Tyler n Car made me laugh like a maniac...hahahahaha..it was hilarious.😉

It would have been much better if Elijah had come to see Kat in real.

I wasn't expecting Katherine Pierce to jump into Elena's body..it was just too obvious...though there were many spoilers about that but i still believed they'll not show that..now she'll hit on Stefan n this will piss Damon off.

I liked how they brought back some beloved characters and that was a nice touch to the 100th episode, but it all just seemed so disappointing. Katherine will always be Katherine. Her self interests trump everything else, even her love for the people she claims to love. I don't think Stefan or Damon will fall for her "posing as Elena" trick. In the promo for the next episode, it seemed as if the brothers might have caught on that Katherine was up to something that's why they're not giving Nadia Katherine's body. I think maybe Bonnie may have told them that she didn't see Katherine on the Other Side which means she's not dead yet and that something happened with Kat's body. And even if Kat tried to fool Stefan into believing she was Elena in love with him again, I don't think he'd buy it. He told both Damon and Elena to not give up on each other. He specifically told Damon that Elena is the best thing that's happened to him and after hearing that, I think Stefan has come to accept their relationship and is trying to move on ( I love that about him). He was hurt and upset over DE so he did criticize them but he's come to understand that it's time for him to move on. And he would definitely be angry with Kath for taking Elena's body for her own selfish purposes when she seemed to have been wanting forgiveness and redemption.

The Klaroline scene was definitely a goodbye scene for Klaus and Caroline. I've read online that Julie had said that this episode is basically it for Klaroline, that it's the end of their story. I'm not a Klaroline fan but I do think that the scene was probably a good thing and a bad thing for fans of the couple. The good thing being that Klaroliners finally got to see their couple hookup, the bad being that it was a closure to their relationship.
