Mystic Musings
S3E04: Disturbing Behaviour
I'm rather proud of myself for how fast I wrote this, considering I watched the episode earlier today. Of course, I should be doing my work right now. I shall get to that once this is done.

Overview
So who's thinking the thoughts going through Stefan's mind at the end when Klaus welcomes him back to Mystic Falls are variations of 'F.M.L.'? Because seriously?
F. H. L.
Just when you thought things couldn't get any more horrible for Stefan – this happens. My poor bb. He doesn't deserve any of this. Yes, he's been going around gorging on people for the summer. But really, he was only in the situation because he's willing to do anything for his brother. (allow me a moment while I try and put aside my Stefan-bias. *pause* ok, I'm good.)
Nobody Is Truly Fearless
I love the little insights we get into Klaus, and Rebekah. They make them more human. Still, I don't want to sympathise with the villains in the show! Stop making me sympathise with them, writers! It's bad enough they're gorgeous, now you've got me feeling sorry for them? At least in the books, Klaus was simply psychotic – no rhyme or reason, just plain psychosis. He freaked me out, literally gave me nightmares. I never wanted to give him a hug. [I blame that on Joseph. He's just so darn huggable.]
But we have a name now. Michael – the Vampire Hunter. Not as awe-inspiring as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or even Alaric, the Hunter, but apparently enough to scare two Originals into fleeing. Why is he so scary? What is the reason behind Klaus' fearing him? And why did Rebekah have to interrupt Stefan before he got to open the coffin and de-dagger an Original? [not so secret wish? Stefan de-daggering Elijah, punching him in the face, and sending him to protect Elena. Make this happen, show. Don't fail me now.]
The Witch Is Back
Happiest moment in this show? BONNIE'S BACK! And less of a storyline and more of a plot device. Again. But Bonnie is back! And I'm thrilled. Her relationship with Jeremy is adorable, and you can honestly see how much she loves him.
The little moments with her friends were also awesome. I love that they showed the three of them together again, it's been missing too much on the show. This friendship is awesome and needs more focus.
I'd actually hoped that Gloria had seen Bonnie when attempting to locate the necklace. It would have made for a nice twist – and would have been an awesome storyline for Bonnie. I don't like the fact that Katherine managed to fool Bonnie. Good way to get the necklace, but I don't like it.
Jeremy telling Bonnie about Anna? Made me a little sad, especially to see Anna at the side, begging Jeremy to hear her. They were my first actual Jeremy-ship, and I love them together. I honestly think they loved one another and it was heartbreaking.
Anna protecting Jeremy, or attempting to just really made me sad. I wanna smack Jeremy for shutting her out. I hope they figure something out, with Bonnie's help so that Anna can either move on, or come back. Because being alone on 'the other side' must be so horrible.
[Why is it so hard to have Bonnie and Matt in the same episode? Seriously? We got Bonnie today but no Matt. The world won't end if you put them both in the same episode, with actual lines and plots. /end rant]
D***** Damon
I'm mad at him for killing Alaric and basically, in Alaric's words 'being a d***'. Seriously? Seriously Damon? Going around and killing people, killing people you know, makes you no friends. Haven't you learnt that by now?
Go Caroline for kicking his butt though. Seriously, been wanting to see this since season one and Damon using Caroline as his own personal blood bank.
I loved Ric for calling Damon out, and then the Council out. Finally, someone with sense. He's the only one really doing anything worthwhile for the town – and it's not even his town. I mean, honestly. I'm still of the opinion that Bonnie and Matt and Ric need to start their own little council but then that's a fanfiction for another day.
Next week had better have Bonnie, Matt and Alaric. And if there's Anna as well, I shall be very happy. I'm worried about Klaus' reaction to Elena being alive – but I'm looking forward to Bonnie being her goddess-witch self [I have an inkling she'll get more powerful as the show goes on, and I cannot wait!]. Still hoping the Original Witch will be a Bennett, but that we'll have to wait and see.
