But my sister's bought me books 1, 2 and 5 for my birthday and I bought/ordered books 3, 4 and 6 myself (also on my birthday) 🤣...

Maybe you could get someone to gift them to you? 😉 😆...

Tithi- yeah those are all the reasons why I prefer book!Elena more.

Nayu- pretty cover! I love that I get Katherine as the main girl. I wanted and craved that while reading the 1st book. To just know what it was like back then,

So this is different - based off the show but I like that! The salbros were closer in tv!past then book!past, doesn't it seem so? And pretty much a lot is different it seems past wise.

That is a great idea nayu! but my birthday's in july which is like wayy waayyy far!!!!

Also, I noticed how differently caroline has been portrayed in the show. in the book she's like the cruel wannabe bully while in the show u actually feel sympathy for her becuz everyone takes her for granted..but i do love the show caroline more than the book one...she is more amture and more real..

I really hope we get Katherine's Diaries too... I'd absolutely love to read about her past and how she became the way she is today...

Damon's "hate" for Stefan in the first few books is really intense whereas in the TV one it's not as much...And pretty much a lot is different it seems past wise.The second book (to me) sounds more interesting than the first 😆...

About Caroline... I completely agree! I love TV show Caro more than the book one too... The book one is more Elena's enemy than TV show Caro but in book 4 Caro is a lot more... Less bully(ish) later on (in the book)... I sorta like her character more in that book... But if I had to choose it would be TV Caro hands down... Love the way her characters grown since S1...

I know... Same here... Book Tyler was a jerk... No two ways about it... Whereas show Tyler started off like that and sorta started redeeming himself as the show went on...

Exactly. I never liked him in the books and with the show one, since day one I was like I like this dude. It was sorta shallow reason too. [ dont judge I got my Ozzie back! ]
