I have it on good authority that the Tyler/Caroline scene was much longer and more passionate but they cut it down. Both of the 'kiss' scenes actually.
Also- MT is going to be shirtless in 5 out of 6 six episodes they've filmed so far.

I'm looking forward to Michael shirtless. Tyler/Caroline - as hot as they were, I miss my Matt/Caroline. I don't mind TC in the short run, but I adore Matt/Caroline together so I'm hoping somehow, they make up without Tyler getting hurt in the process.

The TC scene was hot though. Insanely so. If I weren't so staunchly Matt/Caroline, I'd so ship them.

The Bonnie/Jeremy scene wasn't long enough for me. Though, very happy Matt got screentime. I love me some Matt Donovan.

I dunno, I'm pure T/C..have been for a while...like end of Season 1?
But matt's good. albiet annoying. didn't really miss bonnie much (she's not going to be there much in the next two epis either guys)...but i'm literally the definition of not biggest fan so...
How sad was the scene w/ Alaric and Jenna's picture? *bucket for my creys*

man from the rest of things that was what had me soo sad...
alaric just looked soo lost without her.. seriously when he said to damon ..
i am parents worst night mare n and a teacher from hell
n next second their is elena asking him to talk to jermy n make him stop smoking coz jer looks up to him n he is stumped...
he feels soo lost ,, not being able to deal with his pain of lose.. not being able to deal with the fact that everyone around him aspect him to be the mature one , the one taking care of them ..
i felt soo soo sorry for him
just hope he regains himself soon !!!

@tyler caroline i loved all the before scenes.. they were adoreble for him . beyond adoreble at some parts .. but the consumaation n types .. for me i felt it was sort of rushed.. stacked in the middle of the episode just for the sake of it .. no doubt it was one hot scene.. yet still for me it was a bit rushed n sort of .. dunno felt weird . one second they were all we r just friends trying to hide their feelings from everyone n next they were all over each other...

@ jer bonnie.. i always liked this couple it was out of the way ... n sweet for me.. i know that not a very popular feeling around here .. but for me bonnie n jermy form the cutest couple .. it will be inetrsting to see how they manage against this mess of ghosts n will they succesd in keeping their relation intact or not

@matt .. i never will be able to decide which i ship more tc or mc .. mann its just like delena n stelena for me.. not able to chosse n i guess i am the only one on that front🤣
but i think nt being able to choose is the easiest way out.. i dont get frustrated if the second pair gets some scenes together...
all i know is i want a proper story for matt .. i dont want his chracter to be done in . coz for me matt has always been soo close to my heart !!!

ps-man i actually dont stop once i start writing these essays right???

Wetpaint caught up with Zach Roerig en route to a recent baseball game and got his thoughts on Matt this season. He talks about Jeremy and ghosts, the love triangle with Tyler and Caroline, and a very interesting question – should Matt and Elena should end up together?

I think one of the main reasons that Matt Donovan plays such a strong role in Mystic Falls is his relationship with Elena. And whether we see a lot of that now or not, it's always implied in the past. Ultimately with Matt and Elena, they could, should, possibly end up being together. I just feel like there will eventually come a time in their lives when they realize that they can't keep living this way.
