It was a day before Sumona had to leave for LA because there was her job waiting for her. The whole night her heart & mind kept wishing she would agree whilst Kapil used every single way to show Dadi that he loved the right person & he shall marry the right person.

"Dadi ?" Kapil went and sat next to Dadi on her bed. She was busy stitching her clothes.

"Kya hogaya puttar ?"

"Kuch puchoun ?" Her attention still on the clothes.

"Dadiii. . " He sounded like a kid. He does that when he needs Dadi's attention.

"Accha ruk ja. . " She kept everthing beside and he quickly lied down on her lap.

"Kya hogaya ab bata. " Her hand on his head.

"Chand aur taarey aasman ke bina reh sakta hai kya ?" She frowned.

"Yeh kaisa sawal hai ?"

"Dadi hum haan ya na khel rahe hai. Toh jawab bhi haan ya na hona chahiye"

"Chand aur taarey aasman ke bina reh sakta hai kya ?" He repeated.

"Nahi "

"Ped podhe pani ke bina reh sakte hai kya ?"

"Nahi "

"Insan khane ke bina reh sakta hai kya ?"

"Nahi"

"Aap hum sab ke bina reh sakte ho kya ?"

"Nahi "

"Toh phir aapne kaise sonchliya ke mein Sumona aur Pari ke bina reh sakta hoon ?" Dadi was left stunned.

He got up, held her hand kissed it and continued.

"Aapko Papa ki yaad aati hai na ?" She nodded slightly lost in her own thoughts.

"Aapko pata hai ke Papa wapas nahi aayenge par Sumona ? Use toh pata hoga ke uski beti zinda hai par phir bhi woh Pari se door kaise reh payegi ? " This forced Dadi to think more about this situation and look at it from a different point of view.

"Dadi. . Mein Sumona se sach mein pyaar karta hoon aur mein Pari ke bina bhi nahi reh sakta. . . Dono meri zindagi ka ek ahem hissa bangaye hai. . Unse door nahi rehna chahta. . Kal Sumona ki flight hai woh wapas jaa rahi hai aur pata nahi kabhi Amritsar aayegi bhi ya nahi. . Use roklena please. . " So much of patience it needed to explain it to Dadi instead of being angry with her weird behavior and Kapil did it !

Giving her his broken smile, He walked out of the room with a hope in his heart that tomorrow he will wake up to the news that he will be marrying his lady love & everyone has accepted his princess & her mom.

The entire night till morning 4 Am he couldn't sleep and finally when it was 5 Am he dozed off. His alarm rang & shut. Rang & shut but he was lost in his dreamland.

All of a sudden his eyes flutter open and he got up. The clock showed 9 AM.

"What ?! Sumo ki flight toh 7 bajey thi. . " His heart thumped and he quickly threw the duvet aside and ran downstairs.

Hmm. . So ? Will they get married or will it be a 'Humari adhuri kahani ?' Pata lagayiye agle chapter me :)
