I wrote KD = Keshav Desai but I wrote Keshav Rastogi, no KR will look weird na? So Panchi is going to be Panchi Desai!!

Chapter 2
"Why do you hate me so much?" Ranveer Shergill.

"Panchi save mee!" Ranveer screamed in a total girl voice.

"What the hell are you doing in my room'" I looked at the clock, "at 10:30 PM!?"

"I am getting beaten by Kiya, the DEVIL!" Ranveer replied, innocently.

"I heard that RANVEER!" Kiya screamed from my door post.

"Save me Panchi, you are my only source of hope!!" Ranveer said.

Kiya had a cricket bat, God! Why does Aunty Shweta (Mrs. Rastogi) even keep that thing in her house?! Kiya started beating Ranveer with it. I quickly jumped out of my bed and came in between those two.

"STOP!" I took a deep breathe, "You guys are animals!!"

"Panchi, you look hot!!" Ranveer exclaimed.

I looked down at myself, I was wearing shorts and a tank top. I blushed. "Uh, thanks..?"
Kiya raised her bat, "No Kiya, stop it! Its alright, you are a better person!" I told her, and she put her bat down.

"You don't know this jerk, Panchi." Kiya said.

Ranveer mimicked her, "You don't know this jerk, Panchi." and stuck his tongue out at Kiya.

"So immature." Kiya scoffed.

"Yeah, right, I am immature, coming from the girl who sleeps with her teddy bear." Kiya's face as red with anger.

"Its not a teddy it's a bunny!" Kiya got in her defensive mood.

"GUYS!" KD came inside the room, "I am trying to practice guitar, but you guys are not letting me. Now," He took a deep breathe, "what's the matter?!"

"Well, yesterday he got into a fight in a party, that's why I am angry at him, what will mom and dad do to US?!" Kiya sighed and pointed towards her and Ranveer, "We are dead!"

"She is beating me with a bat" Ranveer rubbed his arm. KD shook his head in disappointment.

"Okay, Ranveer what you did was wrong but KIYA! Beating him with a bat is not right."

"Thank you!" Ranveer said to KD.

"Kiya, hand over the bat to me." Kiya refused, "Kiya, don't make me come there." Kiya held the bat tightly. KD took steps forward and started tickling her, and Kiya's laughter filled the room. Its so good to see these two like this. Just like the olden times..

"OWW" KD screamed, he held his head, "God Kiya! My head hurts." His eyes started to water.

Kiya hit KD with the bat, well, that's something like Kiya would do. I told Ranveer to bring ice, Kiya kept apologizing to KD as if he is going to die because of her.

"Kiya chill, its just a little bump" KD winced when Kiya touched it.

"I am so sorry." Kiya replied.

"Its okay!" KD was starting to get irritated.

Ranveer brought some ice and kept it on KD's head with a great force.

"Ranveer!!! " KD screamed.

"Sorry brother." Ranveer gently put the ice on KD's bump.

"Instead of KD, Ranveer deserved the bump." Kiya said.

"I agree'" I nodded.

Mom said me and Ranveer to buy Jackfruit from the other side of the city. Because, Kiya and KD had music class to attend.

"I am driving" Ranveer said.

"Okay, whatever." I was very sleepy.

To be honest the kids I was babysitting were very naughty. They kept troubling me, but I love kids! And I came back home at 4 in the morning and slept till 10:30 Pm.

I took out the map and sat in the passenger's seat. "Ranveer take a right after the bridge."

"Don't tell me what to do, Miss. Desai." Ranveer is' very irritating! But still he look a right

"Don't give me that attitude, Mr. Shergill." I replied him back in the same tone he said.

I turned the radio on, "Ishq wala love" was on it.

Ranveer started to sing the lyrics,

"Hua jo dard bhi toh humko" I stared at him as if he has done some crime.

"What? Can't a guy like a love song? Man, even I have feelings."

"Yeah girly feelings." I winked at him.

"Shut up Desai!" Ranveer kept his eyes focused on the road.

I started to sing along the music and soon later Ranveer joined me.

After 10 minutes we were in a forest kind of place.

"Where are we?" I asked Ranveer.


He gestured towards the board that says, "Aloka Jungle."

"Ranveer take a left and then straight." Ranveer did as I told him.

Oh no.

"Ranveer, the map is upside down." We both looked at eachother.

"We are LOST?!"

Suddenly we felt as if we are going down. We looked out of the window, we were in quicksand! And we were drowning!

Ranveer climbed over the car by the window and I did the same. Ranveer took support of a very thin branch and he fell into the quicksand when he kept his leg on it. I helped him get up and he got me down.

"Ranveer!! Ugh!" Ranveer again tried getting out by window and he got near the land. He helped me get out.

And the car drowned, me and Ranveer just looked at eachother and then at the car

"My phone?!" I screamed.

"What?!" Ranveer asked me.

"My phone was in the car." I pointed towards the quick sand.

"Oh.. so?" Ranveer replied very calmly.

"SO?! It is my mobile!! My life and even my clothes are destroyed all because of you."

"What do you mean by all because of you, what did I do?!" Ranveer asked me.

"If you would've not listened to me and gone in the correct way we could be safe with my phone!" I screamed at him, I was angry!

"that's senseless! First you tell me to follow you then you tell me not to follow you, make up your mind Ms. Desai." He started walking away

"Where are you going?" I asked him
"Somewhere away from you." He replied.

I followed him, "better is if we both stay together." I suggested.

"In simple words, you are scared." He teased kind of angry at me.

"Pshh, oh please, I am not!" I was kind of scared.

"Why do you hate me so much?" Ranveer asked me.

"I don't hate you, I dislike your attitude. You bully small kids, you girlfriend, Aisha is a bitch to everyone. You think you rule the school or something, big time Casanova, I have lots of reasons to hate you. And mainly you don't have a best friend, everyone needs one." I told him.

"I do have friends." Ranveer said.

"Yeah, but not best friends." I stated

"Whatever." He started walking faster, suddenly he screamed, "Ahhh"

"Ranveer!? Ranveer?! Ahhh'"
