Lol usually parents dont take their kids seriously. It really pisses me off. My parents are always like you are too young .. Too naive. Etc etc. I am 18. Please take me seriously XD
Seeing that most the marriages fail these days freaks me out even more

Honestly in today's world when everything is fleeting, temporary and superficial, nothing is impossible. People, values, concepts have changed over the years. So why not virtual love? But like someone pointed out, those relationships are temporary. Yeah, many relationships are formed over the internet thesedays...But unless you meet in person, you can never really take a relationship to the next level.

IMHO, internet technology is good for maintaining/sustaining long distance relationships. But not for forming those relationships in first place. For forming relationships that involve the heart, one needs to really connect "in-person". Even business corporations that have virtual operations realize this fact. No one can start new business relationships over the internet. That's why the travel industry is booming so much because business associates want to increasingly meet their counterparts in person over drinks, a cup of coffee, over lunch, or even for offsite team building events - NONE of which can happen over the internet.

LOL - Just imagine that you are a person who makes clay pots from scratch. You take wet clay in your hands, mould it, shape it, temper it and eventually finish the pot. Even if someone else buys/owns it, it still carries your mark - because it is YOUR creation, YOUR baby and will always be. Same thing with parents. I do not see a problem with that. Desi parents are involved in each and every aspect of their children's lives because they devote and dedicate their lives to their children. Our happiness is their happiness and our sadness is their burden. So even on the days when I am angry with them for some trivial issues, I remind myself that I owe them my very existence on this planet.

I wouldn't freak out too much about failed marriages. What are parents for if not to guide us and tell us the right from the wrong? With their blessings and guidance, everything turns out right. Even if it does not, they are there to support us through thick and thin. If nothing else, I give them credit for seeing more monsoons than I have! 😃

@ LadyMcbeth :- wow u said it so beautifully👏
and thats why we respect our parents...
for me its more that i feel secure, i never have the burden to take my decision and then think abt what if it backfire...
parents are here to help. to guide and to support...
and be it marriage or whatever the decision is , i know when the time comes they are here to stand by me

agree wid u but at all d stories dont have a happy ending ...sometimes net love may be true..i feel dat love doesnt mean meeting everyday hugging ...its something very special ...some persons may be flirty n some be true..n any distnce will never spoil or change any relationship...luv happen all by itslef..if any person makes us happy cares fr us, if he z der for us all d d\time in ur happiness n ur bad times ...it may be true sme times n may not i have 2 examples fr dis bth of my frnds had frnd in der fb ..aftr a long time dey fell bth fell in luv wid dat net person i mean in Fb but for her love is a disaster n for other its awesome filled of joy ...so as we knw everyone coin has 2 sidessometimes it may be good n some time it may be bad...
