I took the inspiration from Jeevan saab: Krishna Singh Bisht
Producer Nikhil Sinha's fantasy show Hatim has an interesting cast and actor Krishna Singh Bisht who plays Qasim is one of them. Krishna who hails from Delhi has done theater for five years under NK Sharma's Group Act One. Speaking of his journey he says "I came to Mumbai in 2005 and after doing many ad films, I have done few episodic work. But the role of Qasim in Hatim is my first daily soap. I liked the character of Qasim which is based on the concept of paisa phekh tamasha dekh. He can do anything for money but he is helpful too. In a way Qasim is unpredictable and lovable to kids.
Talking about the inspiration for the character Krishna says, "People may compare this role with Pirates Of Caribbean but I took the inspiration from our yester years actor legendary Jeevan saab. His mannerism and dialogue throwing has become my inspiration and I would like to thank Nikhil sir too. He has also helped me in my look and performance as he himself is very experienced". Krishna also worked in successful movies like Sanjay Leela Bansali's Ramleela and John Abraham Production's Vicky Donor.
