Advice time..

Purab didn't give any excuses, platitudes or hopes to Taps.. I guess he is a new character to me in that aspect. Direct to the point, we are doing this for the family. Not even a hint of personal in there. (I guess I will have to write an OS to satisfy my cliche assumptions 😆) Taps mom advises her to give time to the relationship and she will understand her husband.

Sargam advises Veena to keep a *check* on Purab. Veenaji inturn advises Purab against Taps and her family (promo scene) which Taps overhears. Purab's reply is another score for our Guy, his character is so very refreshing, the one who can defend his 'naram dil' and does not hesitate to show the mirror to his mom.

Whatever he refuses to say, there is no doubt that he is slowly getting impressed by his multi talented wife, as seen by that shine in his eyes on seeing his wife's embroidery work. Or is it the business man in him who is on the look out for talents.

Purab's father got two scenes today, yay!! Seeing his interaction and advice to his wife, one can clearly see where Purab got his sensibility and sensitive nature from.

ThaRab's confrontation about the check (promo scene) yet again reveals Purab's no nonsense, no melodrama character and also that he is starting to understand his wife, "kisi ne kuch kaha kya? "

So one cannot wonder if Taps will take the check as the ytube vid revealed that she wouldn't and Purab secretly arranges a means for her to earn money...

Purab says shevis wearing his sindoor, living in his room, her name is connected to his and vice versa. Taps says there is more to marriage than that. To which Purab replies she is good to his family and he is good to hers, let that be enough for them. He asks her to go meet her Mom as she would be missing her. When he moves away Taps thanks Devi Ma for giving such a good damad to her family and says that she can't understand him as a husband.

Taps must have made the same comment to her mom for her mom advices her to take things as it happens and to keep her commitment to the relation. Understanding too would happen as time passes. Mami reaches there and finds out about Purab giving cheque for operation.

#team is disappointed with their failure and MIL tells Priyanka she has set another plan in action. Just then mamiji calls them and they get to know about the cheque.

Jettani wastes no time to mention this to Veena and cautions her.

Taps buys Filter coffee for patidev from the vendor near her place.

Veenaji confronts Purab about giving money to Tap's family and says that they are taking advantage of his 'naram dil'. She goes on to say that girls like Taps fleece wealthy guys of their money.

Taps over hears and runs away crying.

Purab says he is not a kid who cannot understand if he is being conned and points out that she was the one who choose Thapki for him. He says that she was the one who started this and before pointing fingers at him she should understand the problem is because of her. VD sarcastically thanks him for finding fault in her and he says she is at fault, she is wrong in the way she discriminates people, puts people down and uses their weakness to make them feel bad. VD says he is her 'ansh'. To which he retorts thankfully he is not like her despite that and says he will never become like her. Hebwalks away after telling her not to lecture him about relationships coz she doesn't understand relationships.

Taps is upset and says she can understand VD thinking low about her coz she doesn't know her but Purab didn't say anything in her defence.

Purab passes Sargam who is on her way some party and finds out that Thapki did embroidery on the dress she was wearing(when did she get time?? Reminded me of the fairy tale where the elf converts hay into gold overnight) . He clicks a pic of her and is shown taking a second look at the pic with amazement.

Purab finds ghr coffee in thermos and cups waiting for him and is enjoying it when Taps returns the cheque. She says she has realized that keeping over expectations about a person is wrong. Then goes on to say that he gave the check out of duty not because he accepts their relationship. He tells her she will have enough opportunity to show self respect in future, but this surgery is important. She says she will earn money for it. He asks if she think it is so very easy to earn money and tries to give her the cheque. When she refuses he asks her if anyone told her anything regarding this and she remembers CD's accusations.

I think he will arrange for some embroidery design/work contract for her to earn money

Yes, it was mentioned in the cast interview video. She will get an embroidery work contract, not knowing that it was through Purab. But VD will know and try to stop her from completing her work on deadline by inviting guests over. Taps will be put in charge of cooking by Priyanka and will have to make Italian dishes which she has never heard of before.

When you think about it VD should have actually encouraged her, that way Taps wouldn't be dependent on her son, which would ease Purab's mind too and he won't feel the need to help her.

It's just kitchen politics as usual, I am sure #team will do something at the very end to spoil Tap's afforts.

typical kitchen politics...but ML is very different her... hope he remains like that

True.. Purab's character is the biggest plus in the show. I like Thapki too, though there are monents when she exhibit s the typical ITV FL traits. The interaction between the leads have interesting and some 'hatke' moments.

I just hope the ML doesn't lose his charm.

First time I’m favoring Jigyasa’s co-actor over her. Aakash is really doing a superb job. Love Purab’s no-nonsense attitude. I seriously hope the writers don’t mess it up. 🙏
