Small hut in small village in forest

Dadima brought some clothes for Thapki and Bihaan.

Dadima: Thapki, tum ye pehanlo. (Thapki wear this.)

Thapki nodded. Dadima gave Bihaan his clothes.

Bihaan: Hum aap ke saath chalte hain. Paan se theek se mila nahi. (I'll come with you. I did not meet Paan properly.)

Dadima: Pehle kapre to badal do.(Change your clothes first.)

Thapki: Haan Bihaan tum ab tak bahut kamzor ho. Bimaar ho jaoge. (Yes Bihaan you are still weak. You will fall ill.)

Dadima: Dono kapre badal do. Main panch minutes mein Paan ko lekar aaogi. (Both of you change your clothes. In 5 minutes I bring Paan here.)

Some minutes later.

It was still pourring. The hut was dark even if it was still midday.

Jaidev yelled from outside.

Jaidev: Main andar aa sakta hoon?(May I come in?)

Bihaan: Haan.(Yes.)

Jaidev pushed the straw-made door aside and entered inside. He had brought some candles for them and a bowl.

He lit one of the candles and gave the bowl of turmeric along with other ingredients paste to Bihaan.

Jaidev: Ab ye kam kisi aur ka hai. (Now this work is someone else's.)

He smiled naughtily, left the hut and blocked the hut's entrance with the straw door.

Bihaan looked at Thapki. If not for the lit candle, he would not have seen her. She was wearing a plain kurti which was loose on her. Dadima used to wear such clothes at night. Bihaan started to laugh.

Thapki: Has kyun rahe ho? (Why are you laughing?)

Bihaan (while trying to stifle his laughter): Bas aise hi. Hum jab chahe has sakte hai. (Just like that. I can laugh whenever I want.)

Thapki looked at the clothes she was wearing.

Thapki: Main vapas apne kapre hi pehen leti hoon. (I will wear my clothes again.)

Bihaan: Kapre do minate mein sookh nahi jayege. Ye hi kapre pehen lo. Bahut achi lag rahi ho. (The clothes will not dry in two minutes. Wear these clothes. You are looking very beautiful in these.)

Saying so he started to laugh again.

Thapki: Hasna band karo aur apne baniyan nikalo. (Stop laughing and remove your vest.)

Bihaan: Huh...

Tina/Bani's room

Vasu entered the room along with three people with a mask on their faces. Bani felt confused. What was the deal with the masks?

Bani: Dadi, ye sab kya hai? (What is happening?)

Vasu: Ye tumhara pareeksha hai. Batao ki in teeno mein Tina kaun hai. (This is your test. Tell me who is Tina in these three.)

Bani looked carefully at them. All three were wearing similar jeans and same colour t-shirt.

The longest one was Anu. Veer and Tina were nearly of the same height. Veer was plumper than Tina. So the one on the right side was Tina.

Bani pointed at the one on the right side.

Vasu: Teeno ke mask ek jaisa hai. Tumhe kaise pata chala ki vo hi Tina hai? (All three masks are the same. How did you know this one was Tina?)

Bani explained to her why she thought it was Tina.

Bihaan was staring at Thapki. She had to come close to him to be able to see where he was injured which made him feel nervous even though he was married to her since so many years. The dim light of the candle was making her look even more beautiful. He could feel her breathing as she bent to give a closer look to the wound on his shoulder. Her wet hair caressed his face leaving behind some drops on it. She did not seem to realize this. She was still sulking. But he could read her face now. She was not really angry but was only trying to hide how worried she still was.

Bihaan: Ouch!

Her expression flickered a bit: from angry to worry but then she went back to that sulking state and continued to apply the paste on his other wounds but less roughly than before.

She thought that he was only injured where he had been shot but there were many more wounds; some of which was quite deep. She saw him limp before but did not even once think that he was that injured. He was now staring at her, making her feel more guilty.

Bihaan: Thapki! Kya kar rahi ho? (What are you doing?)

The wax from the candle was about to fall on her hand. He took the candle from her hand and placed it carefully on the ground to avoid that the hut caught fire.

Bihaan: Ab sab theek hai. Kal hum dono aur Paan vaapas ghar jayegein.(Now everything is alright. Tomorrow we will return home.)

Thapki: Nahi, hum kal nahi do teen din mein ghar jayengein. (No, not tomorrow, we will go home in 2-3 days.)

Bihaan: Kyun? (Why?)

Tina/Bani's room

Vasu made Bani sleep. After having explained to her what had really happened the day Bihaan died, Vasu felt that she needed some time for herself. She had made sure that the other children were not there. Although Bani did not say anything after, she knew that Bani somehow believed her, especially after using the little game of guessing they played before as an example. Before leaving the room, she glanced at Bani. She saw fresh tears rolling down. Why were all the children of this house suffering this much? Thapki should have stayed home today. Ananya and Veer had their father by their side but right now Thapki needed to take care about her daughters, rather than her work.

Ashwin/Preeti's room

Preeti: Mere paas ek awesome wala news hai. (I have an awesome news.)
Suman: Doctor ne kya kaha? Kya sach mein tum... (What did the doctor say? Is it true that...)
Preeti nodded.
Suman: Yeh baat humain sabko batana chahiye. (We must tell this to everyone.)
Preeti: Chutki mujhe bhi sabko yeh khabar sunani hai par Ashwin ne kaha kuch dino aur rukhte hai. (Chutki, I also wanted to tell everyone this news but Ashwin said to wait for some days more.)

Dadima's hut in small village in forest

Everyone was having their lunch. Bihaan was seated between Thapki and Paan with the kids besides Thapki while the others were sitting on the opposite side.

Bihaan: Sab humain jaane kyun nahi de rahe hai? Ab hum theek hai.(Why no one is letting me go? Now I'm fine.)

Jaidev: Bihaan, zid kyun kar rahe ho. Pata bhi hai kitne door chalna hai aur abhi baarish ho rahi hai. Aur bhi mushkil hoga vaapas chalna. (Bihaan, why are you being stubborn? Do you even know how far you have to walk and it is raining right now. It will be more difficult to go back.)

Thapki: Kuch dino baad chalte hai. (We will return some days later.)

Dadima: Nahi Thapki. Tum kal Vimal ke saath chale jaana. Tumne kaha na ki ghar par kisi ko pata nahi ki tum yaahan pe aye ho. (No Thapki. Tomorrow you will go back with Vimal. You said that none of the family members knows that you are here.)

Paan: Bhabhi, hum yaahan ruk jaate hain Bhai ke saath. Vaise bhi aaj hi Bani vaapas aayi hai. Aapko ghar jaana chahiye. (I'll stay here with Bihaan. Bani returned home today itself. You must go home.)

Bihaan: Bani vaapas ghar aayi hai ka kya matlab? Kahin sach mein Kosi maa ne usey apne saath lekar chali toh nahi gayi? (What does Bani has returned home today mean? Don't tell me that Kosi ma had really taken her away.)

(Note: According to Bihaan, Kosi has taken Bani from PN.)

Thapki: Tumhe ye kaise pata? (How do you know this?)

Bihaan: Vo... Maine ek sapna dekha tha. (Hmm... I had made a dream.)

Dadima: Tumhari beti tumhari maa ke saath thi na? To phir itna pareshaan kyun ho rahe ho? (Your daughter was with your mother, right? Then why are you so worried?)

Bihaan: Vo humari maa nahi hai. (She is not my mother.)

Bihaan(To Thapki): Vo kaise ghar mein aakar Bani ko leja sakti hai? (How can she come to our house and take Bani.)

Thapki: Ghar se nahi, bus se usne Bani ko apne saath liya. (Not from home but she took her from a bus.)

Bihaan: Bus se? Aakhir hua kya tha us din? (From a bus? What had happened that day?)

Paan: Hum batate hain. (Let me tell you.)

Paan narrated what had happened after Bihaan fell from the cliff.

Bihaan: Thapki, tum ghar jao. Bani ko tumhare zaroorat hai. Hum Paan ke saath vaapas aayegein. (Thapki, go home. Bani needs you. I'll return with Paan.)

Thapki: Nahi hum sab saath mein jayengein. (No, we will go together.)

Bihaan: Koi Amma ya Kosi maa ya Sankar nahi hai humare saath kuch karne ke liye. (There is no Amma, Kosi or Sankar to try to harm us.)

Dadima, Jaidev and Ramesh looked at each other, thinking how many enemies Bihaan and Thapki had.

Vasu: Dhruv, tumhe pata hai ki Thapki kahan gayi? Maine usey phone karne ki koshish ki par lagta hai uska phone kharaab hai ya koi network problem hoga. (Dhruv, do you know where Thapki went? I tried to call her but it seems like her phone has some problem or there is some network problem.)

Dhruv: Nahi. Usne to mujhe kuch nahi bataaya. (No, she did not tell me anything.)

The phone in the hall rang and Suman picked it up.

Suman: Hello. Hello?

On the other side: ??????????

After hearing what that person said she was shocked. After her conversation with Preeti, she had felt happy after so many days but now after what she has heard she was not sure how to react. Perhaps, she did not hear correctly what that person had said.

nice update Upasna!

even if they go after some days...i want Bihaan and Thapki to go back together.

I am afraid...something may happen to Bihaan if Thapki leaves him in the village.

I wonder who is the caller and what did he/she say to Suman 😕

i'll wait for the next update 😊

Bihaan should go back with thapki otherwise amma or kosi may harm him. Or what about preeti. And who called sumon? So many question. Waiting for next.
