Vimal was walking while thinking about Bihaan's words. On seeing him worried, Jaidev asked him what the matter was.
Vimal: Bihaan ne kabhi apne zindagi ke baare mein baat ki? (Did Bihaan ever talked about his life?)
Jaidev: Nahi. Kyun?( No. Why?)
Vimal: Usey lagte hai ki 15 saal guzar chooke hai. (He thinks that 15 years have passed.)
Jaidev: Hain. Humse bhi usne yahi kaha. (Yes. He told us this.)
Vimal: Aur kuch bataya usne? (And did he tell you anything else?)
Jaidev: Nahi toh. (No.)
Vimal: Ek kahaani sunogey? (You want to hear a story?)
Jaidev: Ab tum mujhe kahaani sunaoge. (Now you will tell a story.)
Vimal told Jaidev about whatever Bihaan had told him.
Jaidev: Pakka usne yehi bataaya? (You're sure that he said all these?)
Vimal: Haan. (Yes.)
Jaidev: Ye toh meri kahaani ke tarah hai. (This is similar to my story.)
Vimal: Mujhe vo kahaani sunao. (Tell me the story.)
Jaidev told him the story. There was a soldier who went to war but never returned. Everyone assumed that he had died except his wife. They had two children, two girls. The elder one had heard the wife encouraging her husband to go to war. When they come to know that he might not be back, she started blaming her mother for her father's death. The father's aunt who had a grudge against the family took the girl with her. They returned after several years to revenge against the family but then a man who was a look-alike of the husband came and the girl forgave her mother. The family makes the lady accept the man as her husband. The end.
Vimal: Tumne yeh kahaani bachon ko sunaya tha? Bihaan vaahan pe tha?(Did you tell the kids this strory? Was Bihaan there?)
Jaidev: Haan par vo toh behosh tha. Usne kaise iss kahaani ke bare mein pata? (Yes but he was unconscious. How will he know about this story?)
Vimal: Kuch log jab coma se uthtey hai, unhe lagta hai ki vo ek alag insaan hai ya apne sapne ko sach maantey hai. Bihaan ke saath bhi yahi hua hoga. (When some people wake up form coma, the feel that they are someone else or believe their dreams are real. This is what must have happened to Bihaan.)
Jaidev: Ye kaisa ho sakta hai? (How is this possible?)
Vimal: Ho sakta hai. Ek ladke ko lagta tha ki vo ek gaayak tha. Pata hai kyun? Jab uska parivaar usey milne jaate the tab wey usi gaayak ke gaane usey sunate the. (It is possible. One boy thought that he was a singer. You know why? When his family used to visit him they used to make him listen to that singer's songs.)
Jaidev: Matlab ki vo mere vajah se usko lagta hai ki uska jagah kisi ne leliya. Shayad isiliye vo Ramesh ko Munna keh raha tha. (It means that it's because of me that he thinks that someone took his place. Perhaps that's why he was calling Ramesh Munna.)
Vimal: Jab tum log usey yaahan la rahe the, Bihaan ne Ramesh ko dekha? (When tou were bringing him here, did Bihaan see him.)
Jaidev thought of that day.
Flashback: 2 weeks ago
Jaidev and Ramesh heard someone screaming. They saw Bihaan falling. His fall was slowed down by the trees growing on the slope. Both men untangled him from the branches. He had been shot but luckily was still conscious. Ramesh did his best to keep him awake. He patted his face, talked to him to get his attention and even threw water on him. Bihaan was mumbling something out of which Jaidev could understand only some words. Then they carried him to the village.
End of flashback
Jaidev: Haan shayad usne Ramesh ko dekha tha.(Yes, perhaps he saw Ramesh.)
Vimal: Isiliye to usey laga ki vo koi aur hain. Ek aise virkti jo uske sapnoon mein tha.(That's why he thought that Ramesh was someone else: Someone who was in his dreams.)
Jaidev: Chalo Bihaan ko sach batate hai. (Let's go and tell Bihaan the truth.)
Vimal: Pata nahi vo humare baat par yakeen karaga ya nahi. Pehle dadi aur Ramesh se baat karte hai.(I don't know if he will believe us or not. Let's talk to dadi and Ramesh first.)

Forest
Thapki and Paan were walking. Paan asked Thapki to tell her what exactly had happened since Thapki did not tell him everything. After that it was Paan's turn to tell her why he returned to Noida after all these years. The answer was simple: he missed the town and decided to return here with his family. He lived a simple life and yet missed the people here. When he returned, he learned that Bihaan had died. That's why he called Thapki.
Thapki: Par apko mera number kahan se mila? (But from where did you get my number?)
Paan: Kisi se mil gaya. (I got it from someone.)
Thapki smiled at this. Paan was not going to answer her directly. One of Bihaan's other friends must have given him the number.
Paan: Vaise bhabhi aur kitna door hai yeh gaon. Ab tak to pahaunch jaana chahiye tha na? Kahin hum kho nahi gaye? (By the way how far is the village? By now we should have already reached it. What if we got lost?)
Thapki: Pata nahi. Shayad hume kuch aur der chalna hoga. (I don't know. Perhaps we should walk a little longer.)

Vimal, Ramesh, Jaidev and Dadima were trying to make Bihaan understand that what he has been believing was not true but Bihaan could not believe them. Afterall he knew what he had seen, what he had felt. Those feelings and moments were real. There is no doubt about it.
Vimal: Tumne apna chehra dekha hai? Inn kharoch ke alaava kuch nahi badla hoga. (Did you see your face? Except those scratches nothing must have changed.)
Jaidev: Aur ek baat sach sach batao. Kya koi aur badla hai. Tumhari pati budhi lag rahi thi? (And tell me something truthfully. Did your wife appeared to be older?)
Dadi: Usey sochne ke liye kuch vaqt dedo. (Give him some time to think.)
Bihaan thought about what they have been trying to make him understand. He took the mirror which was still lying there and once again looked at his face. It was true. His face had not aged. He then thought about Thapki. Her dressing style was different but the face was still the same. It was the same case for Suman bhabhi. The more he thought about those images, the more loopholes he could find. Perhaps they were right. He had really misunderstood his dreams as real. If that's the case, Bani and the other family members might still be in danger. He had to go and see if they were alright. But if he was right, he will simply go away.

Tina, Anu and Tina forced a moody Bani to play with them. They chose to play hide and seek. Bani counted till ten. She then started to search for them. After some minutes after she could not find them, she went to her room. The other children came to fetch her but Bani simply did not want to play. Veer took her hand and dragged her outside. The two girls followed them. Veer was bringing Bani downstairs when she managed to free herself. Veer lost his balance and was about to fall. Bani tried to catch him but he was too heavy for her. But Vasu came in the nick of time from downstairs and prevented Veer from falling down the stairs.
Vasu(angrily): Bani, Veer ko agar kuch ho jaata toh? Apne kamre mein jao aur jab tak main na bolun baahar mat aana. (Bani, what if something would have happened to Veer? Go to your room and don't come out till I tell you to do so.)
Veer: Dadi Bani ki koi galti nahi hai. Main hi usey zabardasti niche la raha tha. (Dadi Bani is not at fault. I was the one who was forcing her to come downstairs.)
Ananya and Tina(in union): Haan dadi. (Yes Dadi.)
Vasu(still angry): Chup. Tum log bhi apne kamre mein jao. (Silence. You also go in your room.)
11:00
Forest
Paan: Hum sach mein kho gaye hai. Vaapas chalte hai. (We have really got lost. Let's return.)
Thapki: Kuch aur chalte hai. (Let's walk some more.)
Paan: Bhabhi, dekhiye mausam bhi kharab ho raha hai. Humain vaapas chalna chahiye. (Look, the weather is worsening. We must return.)
Thapki: Shh..
Paan: Bhabhi...
Thapki: Mujhe laga ki koi yaahan pe hai. Dhyaan se suniye.(I think someone is here. Listen carefully. )
Both of them remained quiet for some time before they heard someone giggling.
Paan(pointing in a direction): Iss disha se awaaz aaya. (The voice came from there.)
They followed the direction. They saw some children coming in their direction. They hid a while waiting for them to pass by them and then followed them till they reached the village. But then a man appeared from nowhere and scared them with a stick. Instinctively, Paan pointed at him with his gun but the man hit his hand with the stick and seized the gun which had fallen.

Paan and Thapki have been tied up against a tree. The villagers were examining what they were carrying with them. Firstly, they searched Thapki's bag. A man removed a gun from her bag.
Man: Dono ke paas ek bandook hai. Kya karne aaye ho tum dono? (Both of you have a gun. What have you come to do here?)
Paan: Dono bandook mere hai. Maine hi bhabhi ko ek di thi jungle mein. Aap usey jaane dijiye. (Both guns are mine. I had given it to bhabhi in the forest. Let her go.)
Man(ignoring Paan)(To Thapki): Tumhara naam kya hai? (What's your name?)
Thapki: Thapki.
The man looked at a card.
Man: Jaidev ya Ramesh ya Vimal ko bulao. (Call Jaidev, Ramesh or Vimal.)
The three men and Dadima came after a while.
Man: Kya naam likha hai ispar? (What name is written on this?)
Vimal took the card.
Vimal: Vaani Pandey. Aur ye ek patrakaar hai. (Vaani Pandey. And she is a journalist.)They untied Paan and took him to a hut where they were to question him. Thapki was left alone. She tried to free herself but was unsuccessful. She felt a drop of water fall on the face. The sky was already painted grey. She continued trying to untie the knot.
Outside the hut in the small village
Jaidev: Baarish hone vaali hai. Mujhe lagta hai ki uss ladki ko bhi humain andar laana chahiye.(It's about to rain. I think we should bring the girl inside.)
Man: Nahi usne jhoot bola hai. (No, she had lied.)
The villagers started to argue among themselves.
Man: Sab log andar chaliye. Vaahan baat karte hai. (Everyone, let's go inside. We will talk there.)
Bihaan heard the commotion and came to see what was happening but by then nearly everyone were already inside the hut. He was already feeling uneasy and now he felt that something was wrong. Dadima who was still outside explained the situation to him. But she was also unaware that that girl was Thapki.
Dadima: Tum vaapas andar jaa. Abhi baarish hone vaali hai. Main abhi aati hoon. (Return inside. It's about to rain. I'll just come.)
Bihaan: Theek hai. (Okay.)
Bani and Tina's room
Vasu came inside the room. Bani was sulking. Vasu sat besides her.
Vasu: Dadi se naaraaz ho? (Are you angry with Dadi?)
Bani looked at the other side.
Vasu: Main jaanti hoon ki tumhari koi galti nahi thi. Par kya karoon? Dar gayi thi main. Isiliye maine tum pe chillayi jaise tumne ne Thapki ko daanta tha. (I know that you were not at fault. But what to do? I got scared. Tha's why I yelled at you like you had scolded Thapki.)
Bani: Par Mumma bohot buri hai. Main mumma ki jaisi nahi hoon. (But Mumma is very bad. I'm not like her.)
Vasu: Thapki ne aisa kya kiya? (What did Thapki do?)
Bani told her what Shraddha as Thapki had said to her in the mandir. Vasu understood what Bani was thinking. It must have been Shraddha who did all these but Bani thought that it was Thapki. That's why she has been so angry with Thapki. She had to explain what had really happened on that day. Hopefully, she might listen to her. Bani is a sensible girl but it might be difficult for her to understand what had really happened on that day.

Bihaan went into his hut but something did not seem to be right. He went out again. He could hear the men arguing. One of them was Ramesh. He could not hear clearly what they were saying but it appeared that they were discussing about a man. Were they discussing about him? The rain was becoming thicker. Within seconds it started pouring. He had to go inside but he went in the opposite direction towards the village center. He did not know why he was doing this. It was as if something was awaiting him there.
Dadima who was going to her hut saw him and cried his name.
Dadima: Bihaan! Andar aa. (Bihaan! Come inside.)
At village center
Thapki was still trying to free herself. The village might be in the middle of nowhere but they had such good quality rope. Seriously, these villagers did not even want to listen to them. She was already drenched. Suddenly, she stopped struggling. She started to feel restless. She felt someone coming near her. She closed her eyes. The person untied her, held her shoulders and made her stand. Her eyes were still closed. She did not dare to open them. She just did not want to be proven wrong.
Man: Thapki. Aankhein kholo. (Thapki. Open your eyes.)
Thapki did so. There he was, her Bihaan. No, she might be hallucinating. She stretched her hand and touched his face with the tips of her fingers. He was really here. Bihaan pulled her towards him and hugged her tightly.
Such nice updates. Read last 2-3 updates together and the last line made my day. Thahaan met finally. Loved the way u used this coma and story thing to make this 15 year leap Bihaan's disillusion. Awesome stuff. Will wait for next update but plz don't make it after 1 month wala update. Post soon

Tina was sitting on the stairs outside the house. Suman noticed her and went to her.
Suman: Tina, tum yaahan akele kya kar rahi ho? (What are you doing here alone?)
Tina: Kuch nahi.(Nothing.)
Suman: Kya baat hai. (What's the matter?)
Tina: Bani humse roothi hai. Jabse vo vaapas aayi hai usne na toh mujhse na Anu aur Veer se theek se baat ki. (Bani is angry with us. Since she has returned, she has not talked to me, Anu or Veer properly.
Suman: Aisi baat nahi hai. Abhi abhi toh vo aayi hai. Thak gayi hogi vo. Dekhna kal vo pehli vaali Bani ban jayegi. (It's not like that. She has just returned. She must be tired. Tomorrow she will be our old Bani again.)
Tina: Sach mein? (Really?)
Suman: Sach mein. Abhi andar chalte hai. Mausam kharab ho raha hai. Phirse bimaar ho jaogi. (Really. Now, let's go inside. The weather is getting bad. You will fall sick again.)

Vasu was thinking how to clear Bani's misunderstandings. She then heard Ananya and Veer arguing. The voices were coming from the kitchen. She had asked the children to stay in their room but only Bani obeyed her.
Kitchen
Vasu: Tum log kya kar rahe ho? (What are you doing?)
Veer: Suman chachi ko dhood rahe hai. (We are searching for Suman chachi.)
Vasu:Kyun? (Why?)
Ananya: Humare sketchpad mil nahi raha hai.(We cannot find our sketchpads.)
Vasu: Tumhara kamre mein hi honge. Chalo main hi dhoodke deti hoon. ( They must be in your rooms. Let's go. I'll search for them and give them to you.)
Veer and Ananya's room
Veer, Ananya and Vasu were searching for the sketchpads. Finally, Vasu found them in a drawer among many things. She then saw a hand made mask in there.
Vasu: Ye kisne banaaya?(Who made this?)
Veer and Ananya: Humne. (Us.)
Vasu got an idea and asked Veer and Ananya to do something for her.

Dadima was taking an umbrella when Jaidev and Ramesh came inside.
Ramesh: Aap kahan jaa rahi ho aise mausam mein?(Where are you going in such a weather?)
Dadima: Bihaan pata nahi kahan gaya. Maine usko awaaz di par vo chalta hi gaya. (I don't know where did Bihaan go. I called him but he kept walking.)
Outside some other villagers were rushing to their hut.
Jaidev suddenly remembered Thapki.
Jaidev: Vo ladki ab tak baahar hai na? Humain usey andar laana chahiye. (That girl is still outside, right? We must bring her inside.)
Village center
Bihaan was still hugging Thapki. Thapki had dug her face in Bihaan's chest. She did not want him to see her cry; at least not today, when she met him after what seems to be ages. Little did she know that Bihaan could feel the warmth of her tears. The rain might be making her sobs inaudible but Bihaan knew she has been crying. He did not felt like wiping them. The only important thing was that she was there with him. Nothing has changed. She was still his.
Dadima: Bihaan!
Dadima, Jaidev and Ramesh were looking at them strangely. Bihaan separated from Thapki and held her hand just to assure her that everything was okay.

Vasu: Maaji, aap aaj hi aa gayi? (You came today itself?)
Sanjay: Hum dono bhi aaj hi vapas aa gaye. Dadima ko vapas aane ki bahut jaldi thi. (We both came today itself. Dadima wanted to return as soon as possible.)
Dadi: Bache kahan hai? Aur Thapki aur Bihaan? Ve dono bhi nazar nahi aa rahe hai. (Where are the kids? And Thapki and Bihaan ? I cannot see them.)
Vasu: Bache upar hai. Thapki raat ko aayegi. (The kids are upstairs. Thapki will come at night.)
Dadi: Bihaan kahan hai? Jab aakhir baar usey mili thi, tab usne mujhe nahi pehchaana tha. Ashwin ne bataaya ki Thapki aur Bihaan ki yaadash dono vapas aa gaye. (Where is Bihaan? When I had met him last time, he did not recognise me. Ashwin told me that both Bihaan's memory and Thapki have returned.)
Suman: Bihaan devarji Thapki ke saath hai. Dono saath mein aayegein. (Bihaan is with Thapki. They will return together.)
The other family members stared at her.
Dadi: Acha theek hai. Sab log usey aise kyun dekh rahe ho. (Okay. Why is everyone looking at her like this?)
Bauji: Bas aise hi. Chaliye khaana khate hai. (Just like that. Let's go and eat.)

Hopefully what Suman told Dadi will be proved true...or is it that Suman already has an idea of what Thapki is upto 🤔really can't wait to read the next update...please update asapand i have a request...this is such a superb story...if possible please don't end it with Bihaan coming back to PN...i want to read at least 2-3 parts after ThaHaan reunion
