Chapter 50
Bihaan and Thapki looked at each other. They knew they could not tell the truth to Dadi so Bihaan made up a story of some urgent work. Whether Dadi believed his excuse or not could not be told from her worried voice but she told them that they r coming home in less than an hour time. This made both Bihaan and Thapki hurry and get ready in which they totally missed the broken lock on one of their wardrobes.

Thapki was serving tea to the family and her face had this happiness and freshness that Shradha had not expected. Had her plan not worked? or was Thapki still not aware of it? She had to make sure. But before Shradha could think of sthg, she noticed Bihaan walking down the stairs. He looked all fresh and happy. Not even a single frown could be seen on his face. The same got noticed by Vasu who was expecting to see a sulking Bihaan after wat happened last night. So wat has changed in one night? The question not only appeared in Vasu but in Shradha's mind too. Dadi also noticed a happy Bihaan which made her think that the news of Bihaan and Dhruv's fight was just a rumour.
Bihaan came and sat with Singhania family as they were leaving for their home now. Just before their departure, Vasu came with many gift bags. Before handing them the gifts, Vasu asked Thapki to bring the gold necklace from the jewellery she was given for safe keeping. Thapki did not know which necklace it was so Shradha volunteered to go with her as she knew which necklace Vasu was talking abt.
The two entered Thahaan's room and walked towards the wardrobe. Thapki went towards her side table to take out the key but it was Shradha's scream which startled her. To check wat Shradha was screaming abt, Thapki turned and horror soon touched her face too. The door to her wardrobe was open and all the jewellery boxes were gone. Thapki could not believe her eyes. But before Thapki could react to it, she saw Shradha running out of the room. She knew Shradha had left to inform Vasu. Thapki in complete shock walked towards the bed and slowly sat on it. She knew that the jewellery was very expensive and it was a big loss but wat worried her more was that Vasu will never trust her for anything. The horror of wat has just happened has not even completely taken over her when she saw an angry and worried Vasu entering the room followed by Shradha.
Vasu: "You people must be looking in the wrong place. Did u check properly?"
Shradha: "Thapki told me that the jewellery was in here and she went to bring key but I noticed that the lock was broken and so I opened the door and I saw this messy wardrobe and with no jewellery in it"
Vasu turned towards where Thapki was sitting and held her by her arm and made her stand.
Vasu: "Y r u not saying anything Thapki?? Where is everything? Did u not even keep it any where safe?"
Thapki did not know wat to say so she just looked at Vasu with a blank face.
"The jewellery has not been stolen. It is here... all safe and sound"
Both Vasu and Shradha looked at Bihaan with a confused face.
Shradha: "Wat do u mean by its not stolen? The boxes r gone"
Bihaan: "Yes u r right, The boxes r gone... I mean those have been stolen but the jewellery is safe"
Bihaan calmly walked towards his bed side table, took out a key from his pocket and unlocked the bottom drawer. He took out few pouches and put them on the bed. He unzipped those pouches that contained all the jewellery. Thapki shockingly looked at Bihaan but Bihaan signalled at her with his eyes to stay quiet. Thapki understood his signal and did not say a word.
Shradha: "How is this jewellery safe? I mean how this happened?"
Bihaan: "This was all Thapki's idea. When u people gave her the boxes, she decided to take jewellery out of the boxes and put it some where else. So that even if a burglar breaks into the house, he will not be able to find it so easily"
Vasu: "But who took the boxes?"
Bihaan: "Some thief who might have known that we have jewellery in our room so last light he broke into our room and took those boxes"
Shradha: "Wat r u talking abt? How some one could have known abt this? This can just be a coincidence"
Vasu: "Okay now just leave it for now as we have guests downstairs. We will call the police and get it inquired but now I need to go downstairs and act normal"
Both Vasu and Shradha left the room. As soon as the two left, Thapki came running towards Bihaan and hugged him crying.
Bihaan: "Y r u crying?"
Thapki: "Thank u so much for saving me. I know u took my name to save me from that situation but how did u do it?
Bihaan: "Well when u mentioned how Shradha and Maa had asked u to keep the jewellery with u, I knew it could be Shradha's plan and I am very sure that this robbery was her plan. Any way the broken window which we completely ignored last night was the part of this robbery. The thief or thieves entered our room, broke only one lock and took the boxes as they were told to. They did their part correct but wat they did not know was that the boxes were empty"
Thapki: "But y did u not tell me abt it?"
Bihaan: "Abt robbery or abt putting the jewellery some where else?"
Thapki: "Both"
Bihaan: "Okay I did not get a chance to do that. Firstly bcoz of our fight at my bday night, we were not talking so while locking the room before leaving for the engagement party, I put the jewellery in my drawer. And I came to know abt this robbery when I was abt to come downstairs. So I did not get a chance to inform u abt all this"
Thapki kissed Bihaan on his cheek and said "Thank you". Bihaan teasingly asked for a more intimate kiss as a thank you but Thapki hurriedly left the room blushing all red.

Shradha was in her room fuming hot with anger. All her plans were getting failed coz of Thahaan's bonding and she could not tolerate this. She needed to do sthg abt it before things totally go out of hands. She looked at the wall clock and realised that it was 10pm. She wondered where Dhruv was. He had been spending more of his time with his friends. His drinking was also getting out of control. Last night Dhruv told her that he had fallen and bruised his face as he could not tell her the truth. She had attributed his fall to his drinking habits. Deep in her thoughts she came out of the room and looked at the the lounge from upstairs. Almost everyone was gathered in the room discussing the yesterday's function. She noticed Thapki sitting next to Bihaan. Bihaan whispered sthg in Thapki's ear which turned her cheeks pink. This made Shradha super annoyed. She looked at Vasu but she was having some discussion with Kiran. Shradha knew she needed a better ally then Vasu as all Vasu could think of was on ways of how to treat Thapki like a maid or on how to keep her busy in the kitchen. She searched the room and her eyes fell on the right target. She knew Sheena still had feelings for Bihaan and she could use those feelings to break this bond between the new lover birds.

Thapki was making breakfast for Bihaan when some one pat on her shoulder. She turned back and noticed Preeti standing next to her. She had a smile on her face.
Thapki: "Oh Bhabhi it is u"
Preeti: "Who u thought it was? Bihaan Devar Ji??"
Thapki: "Oh plz Bhabhi. Y would I think so?"
Preeti: "Coz I have been noticing the whispering and the blushing"
Thapki: "Bhabhi..."
Preeti: "Wat Bhabhi?"
Thapki: "Its nthg"
The blush on Thapki's face was not hidden from Preeti.
Preeti (excitedly): "I knew I was right. This glow on ur face is not for nthg. So u and Bihaan devar ji..."
Thapki: "Plz Bhabhi"
Preeti: "Wat Plz?"
Thapki: "Stop teasing me"
Preeti: "Oh God I am so happy for u. Now soon we will get a small Bihaan or Thapki"
Thapki hugged Preeti.
Thapki: "Bhabhi plz pray that this happens soon"
Preeti: "All my prayers r with u"
Thapki thanked her and walked upstairs to wake up Bihaan.

When Thapki walked in the room, Bihaan was not in the bed. So he was already up. She started making the bed. While she was putting the pillows in their place, Bihaan came out of the washroom. He had just taken shower and was drying his hair with his towel. He noticed Thapki and teasingly threw his towel on the bed. Thapki gave Bihaan an annoying look. Bihaan noticed this and hid his smile. He walked towards Thapki and stood in front of her.
Bihaan: "U seem annoyed"
Thapki: "I am not annoyed"
Bihaan put his arms on Thapki's shoulders.
Bihaan: "Mrs. Thapki Bihaan Pandey, u clearly seem annoyed"
Thapki: "Mr. Bihaan Pandey... I am not annoyed but yes I will appreciate if u do not so some things"
Bihaan: "Oh so basically there r things that u do not like abt me"
Thapki (getting serious): "No Bihaan. There is nthg that I do not like abt u. U can do as u please"
Bihaan: "Is it so?"
Thapki: "Yes"
Bihaan: "Promise?"
Thapki: "God promise"
Bihaan teased her by pulling her nose and turned to get ready for the day. But when Thapki called him by calling his name in a serious tone, he turned back and looked at her.
Thapki: "Is there sthg abt me that u do not like?"
Bihaan looked at her face and stared for few seconds.
Thapki who was expecting Bihaan to reply in the same manner as she had replied but his reply made her a little sad.
