Ila turns 'mad'

Another total waste episode. You can literally sense the serial d r a g g i n g.

Anyway for the sake of updates - Ayya says that after the birth of Ganga's child, even Kula will change and his kola veri will disappear (like in his dreams😆)

After Ayya and Natchiya go inside, Vadivu chides Ila asking why she is lying about Ganga treating her royally at her place. She says that Ganga told her everything what happened when Ila went to her place. Ila as usual snubs her saying something silly.

Ila is still upset and does not want to eat. Karthik understands why and gives her an idea - he says she should go to Ganga's house again and ask her which doctor she is consulting so that she can consult that doctor for her childless state. This way Ila can tactfully find out from the doctor whether Ganga is pregnant or not.

So Ila goes to Ganga's house, She polambifies that she is not getting the bagyam of being a mother. Ganga and her MIL console her. While she is talking, Ganga receives a call from somebody asking her the name of a psychiatrist. Ganga gives the doc's name and address to that woman. Ila thinks that it is her gynaec's no and is happy that she could find this without even asking Ganga.

Ila and Manga go that mental hospital without knowing that it is one. 😆

Manga asks her if Ganga is foolishly consulting a male gyneac why is Ila also consulting him? After that their conversation with the mental doctor is just for laughs - the doc thinks that both Ila and Manga are mad and he also keeps giving mad replies. Ila asks if sub collector Ganga is his patient. Then he also says jokingly yes. Ila asks if she is pregnant. He says yes.

Ila is shocked and leaves.

Kula is deeply brooding how he can stop the bank loan going to Ayya for the medical college constn. (So stupid - Karthik only asked for the loan and pressurised Ayya - so why Kula is opposing this - some disconnect here).

Ila comes in and says that the doctor said that Ganga is indeed pregs. Kula is shocked.

The million-dollar question - will Ganga take the 5 soru?

Chumma sollakudadhu - they have successfully dragged this suspense for 2 weeks now - and still we are in the dark as to whether our heroine is carrying or not. 🤢

The episode starts with our Natchiya and family waiting for Ganga. Rasamma makes some sarcy comments about Ganga and Natchiya gives it back to her. Karpagam to make peace takes Rasamma to the kitchen. Ila makes some nasty comment as usual and Natchiya orders her to go inside. Ila and her escort Manga go inside to one of the rooms and start their vetti conversation as usual. Vadivu comes in and asks suspiciously what they are planning. Then as usual Ila and Vadivu's vetti sandai.

In the hall, Ila starts again - how she is hungry and Ganga is not coming. Natchiya says they will have to wait even if it takes midnight for Ganga to come. She asks Ganga's FIL who says that Ganga is with a minister and will come after their meeting. To which Ila says - which is mukyam, this occasion or the meeting. She says then Ganga is just not interested in this anju soru function at all - everyone looks at her - she keeps emphasising that - then Rasamma says she knows why - because Ganga and SK are not on good terms with each other.

Everyone is shocked and CB (crybaby) starts sniffing again. Natchiya is angry at her for saying this. Rasamma says when SK is in Chennai, why is Ganga here. For Ganga, job is more important and family is not. Natchiya says she is in a poruppana padavi and all that. To which Ila butts in that if she were Ganga, she would have quit her job. Vadivu says of course she would have to resign for she never passed the IAS exam. 😛

Ila then again dramatically announces that that she knows why Ganga is not interested in this function. She is just about to say the reason when Ganga steps in. She apologises for being late. Natchiya asks her to go and change. Ila tries to go to help her but is thaduthufied by N. Ila is crestfallen.

After Ganga comes after changing, they all go the sami room and pray. The anju soru is kept as neivadyam. Then Natchiya asks Ila to give her the first feed to Ganga. Ila gleefully thinks that now Ganga is caught - if she is not pregs, she will have to refuse the sami prasadam - Ila 'allfies' one pidi soru and brings it towards Ganga for feeding her. Ganga gives a bland look. Freeze.
